This place is nice, but the food is not so good. I was not impressed with what they served me.

Hubby and I went here this past weekend. I'm pregnant so I couldn't indulge in a yummy drink (next time). But the people were very friendly. The atmosphere inside is very dark but has great music and loud so good for families, kids and groups of people. We shared the wings (delicious) and Tator tots appetizer. Everything was great. We don't travel to Manteca much so it may be a while u til we're there again, but we would return for another lunch and drink date. read more

Every time I come to chucks the food is great, the drinks are delicious, and I have the best experience. I wasn't sure where I wanted to watch football on my Sunday funday but I ended up here and Anecia was the best and was so accommodating! Will definitely come back!! read more

I rarely ever leave negative reviews but was really dumbfounded by this establishment. My friends and I thought the pics of the food looked pretty good so we decided to give it a shot; horrible mistake to say the least. When we walked in, we were never greeted, seated, or even acknowledged by any of the employees that worked there. We stood there waiting for a solid 5 minutes before deciding to just seat ourselves to one of the booths since we noticed it already had a couple menus laying on the table. We then waited there for about 25 min in which no one ever came. I thought maybe orders were taken at the bar? So I went over to the bar and was able to get this female bartender/waitress's attention. After only saying hi to her, she then put out her finger and said hold on with the worst attitude ever?! I then stood at the bar and waited for another 10 min and was never attended to. At this point my friends and I just lost all patience and decided to leave to get food elsewhere. Reading at other reviews, looks like my friends and I aren't the only who's experienced this. I can't comment on the food but the experience alone definitely doesn't make me want to come back to try it. If you have lost of spare time and just want to wait around aimlessly, give this place a shot. If not, then I'd HIGHLY recommend not to come here. read more

Love the night life of this place! Bartender is super nice! The food during the day is pretty good! I've been there a couple times and the burgers and wings are delicious as was the appetizers. Horrible customer service! Came here on a Sunday night...not too many people..stood at the bar for at least 15 minutes unacknowledged even though I was staring straight at the bartender every time she walked by me. Even someone from one of the tables got up and served themselves a beer from the tap! Guess they were probably waiting awhile for a server??? We sat down at a table and finally got our first round of drinks after having to wave someone down, the drinks were totally watered down so we decided to order shots instead. Chucks Place was a wonderful surprise. Went for lunch with the family. Everything on the menu looked good and was really well priced. I ordered street tacos with carnitas. My daughter and grandson had the California super burrito. She said it was best burrito ever! Street Tacos were savory and the salsa was tasty and not too spicy. First Impression was nice , had to wait a few minutes for service, than made my way to the bar to get some attention so our table could get wiped down. After that I ordered some appetizers that were not bad, I think my son enjoyed them more than I did. There burgers are not bad was somewhat impressed. The lay out and environment is perfect, has pool table, darts, dj after 9, they even stay family friendly kids allowed until 9. The service is a huge plus very personable, professional, nice and fun. This pace was cool and just fine until the male bartender came in and started taking shit about the female bartender before him.. he got very comfortable with making jokes I felt were inappropriate for a person in their profession work place. And the real trouble started when he over heard a conversation I was having about a dispensary that I didn't agree on their tax prices (I'm from a different state that regulates things differently ) when he got offended and tried kicking me out.... I simply tried to explain it was nothing against the dispensary but that I could get better deals in another state. Bartender was so adamit he kicked me out and said I was 'talking shit on a child' that he wouldn't listen to anything but tab me out and kick me out. Worst bar I've been to in California so far.
