Food was good. I got the chucks fingers they were alright! The fries were mid. Nachos looked awesome ,great appetizer to share. The strawberry salad looked super good as well. Service was a little slow but they were short staffed so it was pretty fast for the amount of people they had working this fine Wednesday night. My food was not ready when the groups was so our waiter brought me 3 tenders and brought the other 2 out in a minute or so, very accommodating. Great sports bar, good deals on beer, awesome place to watch a game, and overall nice vibes and lighting. Geez, y'all are hard on this place. Came here for lunch, my first time in Canada. It isn't anything to write home about but I was happy with the food and service. I was greeted promptly after entering the door and was immediately seated. There only appeared to be 2 servers for the whole restaurant, they both also made cocktails behind the bar to share the load. They both kept busy and delivered service with a smile. I ordered the buffalo quesadilla.... Perhaps buffalo means something different in Canada, it was more like a sweet bbq on the chicken, wasn't really what I was looking for but the server brought me a side of hot sauce so that helped. Ordered a Moscow mule which was well made. I would come back, it's close to my hotel. People are too hard on this place. read more

The service here is horrible. We waited at the front door for 5 minutes not even to be acknowledged. We were then waited on and brought to the smallest table for 5 of us. Then comes the wait... we waited 15 minutes for a server to come to our table. We ordered our drinks and received them 10 mins later. Then we waited for the server to take our order... 20 minutes goes buy and still no food order. After the serve leaves finally came over she was rude and seemed rushed. The only good thing about this restaurant is the prices. I have been three times total, and each time I think "Wow. Thank god the burgers are $5 because otherwise, I would never come back." Each visit starts with awkwardly standing in the doorway, wondering if you should seat yourself, or wait for to be seated since there is no signage or anyone standing there. Be prepared to wait about five to ten minutes for some sort of acknowledgement from staff. If you take it upon yourself to grab a seat, again, don't expect any acknowledgement. I said hi to a waitress and tried to ask if it was okay to grab a seat, and was promptly ignored, without even as much as a welcome. Fast forward to having a seat, and a menu. The service is brutal. First thing out of the servers mouth is "hi. Do you know what you want?" Followed by her disappearing for another ten minutes to stand behind the bar and chat about whatever is on tv with the other waitresses. Food comes out quick, but you'll be waiting just as long for the bill as you were to order and eat. The TVs at each booth are nice though. Downside is you have no control over the channel. My wife and I stopped in for a take out order to take to the waterfront on Tuesday July 16, 2019. The service was ok but the food was below par. My wife got the steak and lobster special with corn on the cob and potato. The steak was really so tough she could barely chew it. The lobster tail tasted like it had been sitting for days. She could not get the baked potato because it was 15 minutes before 5 p.m. and they didn't serve baked potato before 5. They offered her mashed potatoes at an extra charge of $1.60. She could not eat the mashed potatoes because they tasted spoiled and smelled bad. The only good thing was the corn on the cob. My burger and fries were ok but the lettuce they gave me was going brown and did not eat it. Will never return to this restaurant again. Really disappointed. read more

This was our first visit to a Chuck's Roadhouse. Pros: The prices for the most part seem good in the menu. The waitress was very friendly. She kept my soft drink glass full at all times without me asking. The kids meal for my son (chicken nuggets) were good, and his portion great for the price. The restaurant was clean. All of the food was served piping hot. I mean, hot! Cons: I ordered the roast beef on a bun with dipping sauce. It was served hot, and it was tasty. The price was $10 which seemed reasonable. However, I only got two thin slices of roast beef. That certainly is not "piled high". So ten bucks essentially for a bun with dipping sauce was disappointing. Caution: There are items on the menu, I guess like any restaurant, that are a rip off. For an appetizer, my wife ordered the garlic cheese bread for $7.50. Just a bun with a sprinkling of garlic butter and cheese. It tasted good and served very hot, but seven and a half bucks for a bun :( Disappointments: I kind of wanted a steak with baked potato when I went in. That was my intention as I don't really like fries. No baked potatoes until after 5pm. So if you are an early diner, no potatoes for you. Conclusion: Although there are menu items that appear to be very good value, what I ordered on my first visit was not worth the price and I was very disappointed. With what appear to be good values in the menu that I have not had the opportunity to try yet, the excellent fast service, never having to ask for a refill for my drink, and the super hot temperature of the food when it was served, I will start off by giving this restaurant a three star middle of the road rating even though I spent $17.50 on buns. I think Chucks Roadhouse is worthy of a second chance to see if their other items are as a good of a value as they appear to be in the menu. Ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, and I got what looked like a chicken nugget on a jumbo hotdog bun. I asked for the garlic butter, baguette bun that was normally served for this sandwich and was refused. I was left with this horrible sandwich that I didn't even want to eat, and at the end of the meal the waitress asked how everything was after ignoring my request for a better bun. Thanks! Horrible. Run down, tables falling apart scratched and damaged. TVs are all fuzzy and look worse than if they had nothing at all. Dusty and dirty everywhere you look (mid day when it was not busy)... The food (understandably considering the prices) was clearly heat and serve. I get that its cheap but at least make it half decent and not burnt and cold. We had 2 salads to start, and 2 steaks with fries.... The salads were just bagged lettuce that was rusted brown, mushy old diced tomato's on them...The steaks, were cooked properly... but fries were unseasoned and ice cold... Would never recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal... The prices are the only thing that keeps people going there I imagine, however most people would rather pay an extra few bucks and not eat garbage food in a run down joint. Oh, and whatever prices it says on the menu ... are ACTUALLY 3% higher than what it says. They tack on a 3% "honest to goodness" fee at the end of your bill... Seems like a fairly DIShonest way to get a little extra change for their menu items. Not sure who is making those decisions but, seriously, just up your prices and your quality, it would go a long way. Will never return. read more

Love that you can get a burger and a beer for $10. Just seems like the staff need some training in customer service. And management should take the role of a host or hire one for the front door. The only reason I put one star is because none wasn't an option. First off, when we walked in the door we stood there for a few minutes with not a single server even acknowledging that we were there so we decided to see ourselves as there was no sign telling you to wait to be served. Then got ignored for another 10 mins before someone even offered us a drink. Our waitress was beyond rude when we used a gift card to pay for part of the bill because she had to figure out the difference. The owner/manager was constantly walking around but did nothing but have long conversations with waitresses right in front of our table. We will never be back to this chucks. We have been to the one in Windsor and loved it as well as on London. Very poor wait staff and grossly mismanaged. And the beer lines are not clean as my husbands beer tasted skunky. Very mediocre food. I ordered the bone-in ribeye; however, when it arrived it had no bone and had to have been the thinnest cut of ribeye I had ever seen. I know this not the Keg but come on. My family (2 adults, 2 kids ages 3 and 1) and our friends (2 adults, 2 kids ages 4 and 1) went to this restaurant Mar 9 while visiting Leamington from out of town. It was by far the worst dining experience we have had. It was not busy, aside from some locals sitting around the bar. We ordered our drinks, which were brought fairly quickly, however the waitress forgot my pop. We waited about half an hour before the waitress was available to take our order. We placed our orders, then waited AN HOUR before flagging down another member of the wait staff. During this time, no one had been by to check on us or refill our drinks. She found our waitress, who came by and said the kitchen is behind and our food should be ready shortly. Still no offer to refill our drinks. After another 20 minutes, our food is brought out. My chucks bacon wrapped steak was cut in two pieces, black, hard and did not have any bacon on it. My fries were lukewarm at best, and the corn was unedible. My husbands meal was fine, and the kids chicken and fries were fine as well. My friends chucks bacon wrapped steak was also cut in two and hard, and his wife's meal was cold and her salmon was unedible. We flagged down the waitress again and told her the issues with the food, and requested to speak with a manager. A manager came by, and took my food, said he would take it off the bill. We complained about the lack of service as well, to which he said they were busy (they weren't), and still didn't offer us refills or something else to eat. We would have just walked out when we saw how terrible the food was, but our kids were beyond hungry and needed to eat. We even had to seek our own ketchup from the bar for the kids fries. We ended up being in the restaurant for 2.5 hours with 4 small, very well behaved kids, and leaving with 3 of 4 adults having not eaten. While our 3 meals were taken off our bills, the lack of service, horrific food at this location (have visited other Chucks and had good experiences), and their inability to apologize made our experience the worst we have ever had at a restaurant.
