Cheese and meat stuffed into a tortilla that is crisped on the grill. Then eaten dipped in a delicious beefy broth. The crazy fries come stacked with meat cheese cabbage salsa and sour cream if desired. It's a meal and a half in itself. This place is tiny, it's a bit scrubby. Mexican tunes enhance the atmosphere. Spicy fruits and ices are served predominantly in their other location by cicis on 10th and jpg. Very pleasant service but it is very slow so be patient. read more

This is hands down the best place to get a Torta among other things. Their pepinos locas and even papas locas are delicious!!!! I've tried many places in the area including food trucks to find the perfect Torta. This is it. So flavorful and delicious!!! read more

The first time was Great, but the last few times wasn't so good. But today was the worst. Just the food part. Torta's were just meat, cheese and few shredded cabbage. Taco's were dry. Looks like they run out of tomatoes, lettuce,onions, etc, etc And Dry lines. Won't be going back especially with the money that was spent. read more

Amazing service and simple food remixed. I've passed by this place a few times because I can never notice where to enter while the traffic is normally south Florida crazy. I finally crawl in during a random ghost time of no traffic. No one in site the whole time I was there. I walk in and I'm just taken in by the bright and culturefulness (?word) of everything. Server spoke no English - I know enough to order. I take a seat and wait. While I wait I'm snapping everything and responding to friends that were wondering if I left the county. It wasn't until my phone alerted me to "leave now" for work to arrive on time, that I noticed how long I was waiting. I had been waiting over thirty minutes! All I ordered was a Strawberries and Cream milkshake and French fries. So yeah I was late to work so I ate while I traveled in heavy traffic. My fries aren't what I ordered and looked very thrown together. The fries were not even thoroughly cooked. I was disappointedly shocked and amazed at the milkshake. It was a cup full of whip cream and strawberries and sweetened condense milk as decoration. I see why this place wasn't busy anymore. read more

Nice little spot for a quick snack. They have all the Mexican classic snacks which are spicy and delicious. Try the mangonada! It's legit. Mango ice cream with mango slices and chamoy (yummy spicy candy type sauce) Also the birria tacos are pretty good. I will be coming back for more of those. They come with the "consommé" to dip them in and green salsa. Make sure to put lots of lime juice on them! Lady at the front is nice and service is quick. read more

In my opinion the tacos are overpriced. I got 3 so called "birra" tacos for $12. They had no flavor and were dry. The birra was not red nor did it have any cheese in it, and the tortillas were dry with no color. I didn't even get the soup dip (consomé) and also the shaved ice had no flavor it tasted like tap water just color. They didn't even have napkins, the limes were dry. Overall it was a horrible experience. And also they had false price advertisement. 1 star only.(if I could do zeros stars I would). read more

I love Chulas. I go here when I want to spoil myself. It's a hole in the wall that I found with the help of a friend and I fell in love. The elote, mangonada, banana split, nachos, crazy chips, tacos, everything I've had from here is AMAZING. There's never much of a wait, maybe 2 other people there when I walk in, plenty of parking and seating. I highly recommend Chulas to anyone looking to indulge! read more

CHULAS YOU ARE SO MISSED. My kids and I loved coming to CHULAS after the day was done. They Have all kinds of special treats. Spicy candy, fruits, nacho cheese covered hot Cheetos, Mexican corn....the list goes on. I got my husband a stuffed watermelon from here for his birthday once. I LOVE MEXICAN FOOD... Its my top go to food and I will NOT come back here for whatever version of Mexican food is being advertised. Lets start with the movie theater nacho cheese on the nachos... whoaaaaa I was fighting the cheese to taste the steak.. don't do that any more. gross. The cheese is wrong with these flavors maybe shredded cheese or white cheese just def not the orange cheese sauce. Then the steak tacos - specifically asked for everything naming onion cilantro lettuce tomato cheese pico and sour cream - I got a sprinkle of prayer with a dash of onion and cilantro (SO GLAD I PAID EXTRA TO TASTE THE SPIRIT OF THE OTHER FLAVORS) Lets jump to the not so chicken tacos... I think the rest of the chicken ran across the wrong road bc it didn't exist. OHHH AND THE SOUP CORN aka corn in a cup... I couldn't get past the soup to taste any flavor in the cup. The barilla tacosssss :( they don't taste like anything but tortilla and taco. The sauce didn't help. So disappointed in the food here. I was really craving a shaved ice tiger blood with sweetened condensed milk. I thought I might try this place out. The building was highlighter green with artfully placed graffiti on it. I walked in and was greeted by a sweet, cheery girl at a counter filled with every candy known to man. The place was completely empty though there was music blasting in the back round. I told her what I wanted and she made it pretty quickly. I wasn't crazy about the snowcone because there wasnt much condensed milk in it nor much syrup. I didnt realize it until after I left the store. I might give it another try in the future...maybe I came on an off day. read more

I like their unique menu but I've been there twice before 10 and they've had their doors closed. I could see the girl sitting inside with some people but they wouldn't opened the door. It was twenty minute wife closing time plenty of time to get my two items. Also last time I ordered tacos they were cold! The service can be slow especially when there is only one person working. I only continue to go because like I said their unique menu not many places sell raspados. I likes it better however when the owner and daughter were more present and not just the younger girls that half the time are not sure how to make you're order. read more
