I was really impressed with Coffee Cup Cafe! The food was good, but what really stood out to me was…read morethe service and all the little details that made the experience special.
I ordered the smothered ham and egg bagel sandwich and a cappuccino. The cappuccino was tasty and was made with freshly ground beans from a real espresso machine, which I always appreciate. The sandwich was warm, tasty, and our food came out really quickly. My husband and I shared an apple cinnamon scone that they warmed up for us. It was soft, delicious, and not overly sweet.
We sat outside on the patio with our pup. There was plenty of seating, and the view of the mountains in the background was beautiful. The highway is right there, so you do hear the traffic, but it was still a relaxing place to enjoy breakfast.
The whole café was also incredibly clean. As a dog owner, I'm usually having to keep my pup from finding crumbs on the ground, but even the outdoor patio was spotless. I didn't notice any food, trash, or sticky tables anywhere. It was obvious the staff takes pride in keeping the place clean. Even the bathrooms were surprisingly spacious and just as clean as the rest of the café.
The best part was how kind everyone was. When they saw we had our dog with us, they asked if she could have a treat. I expected a Milk Bone, but they came out with the cutest little plate that had a bowl of water, a few pieces of chicken, a little bacon, a little ham, and a sprinkle of shredded cheese. It was the perfect amount for a pup with a sensitive stomach, and she was so happy.
Between the friendly staff, great coffee, thoughtful touches, spotless café, and relaxing atmosphere, this was an easy 5 stars. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.
