    Hot and sour soup
    Roma U.

Went here for their lunch special. Got Mongolian beef with steamed rice, crab rangoon and hot and sour soup. Hot and Sour soup: 2/5. It is edible. Mainly sour like vinegary sour, spicy, and bland. I've had better hot and sour soups. I added some salt and pepper to it to make it more palatable. Among the hot and sour soups I've had, this is the spiciest. Mongolian beef - it was just okay. I'd say 3/5. I love Mongolian beef dish usually but this one is blander than the ones I have tried. It was slightly oily in my opinion which is why I dinged 2 stars on this dish. It had more flavor than the hot and sour soup though. But it was served really warm and fresh. The dish also used real beef not the old dinky beef dishes I've had at other restaurants where you question if the beef in the dish is "really" beef. Crab rangoon - Where is my imitation crab? It was basically bland cream cheese. I may be able to decipher small 4 minced pieces of imitation crab if I dilate my eyes. Again it was bland. I make crab rangoons myself so I can appreciate the nice presentation done (it was cutely folded similar to how I do it). But please add more imitation crab, maybe some sugar, and chives. Otherwise they serve their crab rangoons piping hot!!! You can tell it was freshly fried. It was creamy and not sour though so I know some ingredients were added to it and not just the cream cheese. Just not my cup of tea crab rangoon wise. I think it could use more flavor. Customer service - impeccable. The waitress I've had during the lunch hour was accommodating, and receptive to my needs. Came back to my table at least twice to offer refills and to ask if there is anything else I would need. She was also relatively fast in getting my check -crucial skill especially when you have less than an hour lunch time. Ambience/location/cleanliness - very clean and nice, casual ambience. Way nicer than other Chinese restaurants I've been too. I wouldn't write off Chuong Garden as a Chinese restaurant. It is decently good just not flavorful enough for me. I think I'd try other dishes first. Overall, would rate my experience 3/5. Dinged a couple of stars due to food flavor. They accept all forms of payment and the location and service is close and fast enough when you have to hurry for lunch. Big portions and very affordable lunch specials.

Food here is pretty good. Better than a Chinese buffet. I would recommend it for Chinese in Osky.

1 star because zero isn't an option…read more I didn't know Jade Palace was running a social experiment on how little food you can serve for $34 before someone calls the health department, but here we are. First off, I've been to plenty of Chinese spots in my life, and even the hole-in-the-wall places will heap you up like they're trying to feed a football team. Not here. These folks handed me what can only be described as a pup cup of rice. Like literally, I could've ordered a Starbucks dog treat and come out with more carbs. Then came the "egg rolls." Spoiler: they weren't egg rolls. They were limp, barely warmed-up spring rolls stuffed with sadness. Two of them. I ordered egg rolls and ended up with appetizers straight out of a gas station freezer section. Uncooked on the inside too--crunchy outside, still questioning life on the inside. Beautiful. Now let's talk about the chicken and broccoli. Usually this dish comes swimming in sauce--like the kind you actually want to drown your rice in. Instead, I got a dry broccoli funeral with a few strips of chicken sprinkled on top. No juice. No flavor. Just vibes. Honestly, if my Tupperware lid had more moisture from condensation than my meal, something went terribly wrong in the kitchen. $34 for this? Jade Palace, y'all should be arrested for armed robbery with chopsticks. At this point, I'm convinced the chef just saw me walk in and thought, "Let's see how far we can push this guy before he calls the health department." Well congratulations, I'm one step away from dialing. If you're into overpriced rabbit portions, mystery eggroll-spring-roll hybrids, and flavorless broccoli fitness bowls, Jade Palace is the spot for you. If you actually like Chinese food? Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else--even Panda Express would be fine dining compared to this nonsense.

Shrimp was the main reason to eat here And plenty of it on the bars I love medium deep fried shrimp Nice plate full of that on the first plate Maybe 30 ish! And a bowl of cocktail sauce. They had breaded scallops that were real good! 6 of those as well! A bit of kimchi as they make their own so it is perfect. That makes a bit of balance to the fried food. Yea epic good plate one Plate 2 but of white rice and gravy with veg egg foo young and gravy on top More scallops and celery carrots chicken stir fry and maybe 5 chicken potstickers Pretty good second plate.
