Stopped at church and main for a coffee. The staff greeted us as we entered. They were busy pulling orders and there were other customers behind us. My order was taken quickly. The store was clean, The menus were easy to read, and the space felt comfortable. I ordered a Havana coffee. It was sweetened and condensed milk with espresso. It was very tasty. I like the blend of espresso used, not too acidic or bitter. They did a great job with the design in the cream. This was a great quick coffee experience.

So, so happy this place opened so I can get a good espresso in Amador County. Great staff and vibe. Place is cute with nice back room and outdoor patio.

What an amazing spot! Had breakfast here with my family on a Saturday morning. The staff was super accommodating, warm and friendly. They even made us some saltless eggs for our 8 month old baby. They French toast was to die for and the breakfast sandwich on sourdough (Golds Bakery) was stellar as well. An absolute must if you are visiting the Mother Lode.

I visited Church and Main with my grandson. We tried the avocado toast , coffee and the chocolate chip cookie with sea salt. Everything was delicious!!!! What a great spot for Ione! The service was really nice and friendly. The little seating area is charming too. The art work is a nice touch.

My husband and I had the opportunity to try out Church and Main this week. We are so glad to have a decent coffee shop in Ione. It's the new cute coffee shop on Main Street in Ione, Ca. The decor is simple but pleasing. The food was the star of the show for us. They get a five+ for the quality of the ingredients and the deliciousness of their food. We each had a lunch sandwich and we shared. Each sandwich came with a small side salad. We loved them both. So fresh and so tasty! It will be great when they can add a few more items to the menu to choose from. We also each had a latte. They were both good, certainly the best anywhere in or near Ione. The food was extra special though. Service was friendly and quick. Our food was served in To Go containers, which seemed a bit odd since we ate in, but not a big deal. I will say that the prices seemed a bit high for Ione, but I would eat there again anyway. Highly recommend to go for the excellent, high quality food and good coffee. I wish the new owners much success and hope that Church and Main is here for the long run.

Quaint cafe in Ione. The staff was extremely friendly (they baked more cookies for me when the person in front of me ordered the last one). The feta toast was delicious- definitely unique. All ingredients were fresh. They have a cute outdoor seating area nestled away from the street, which is cozy. Glad we stumbled upon it. Would recommend. Their bread is from a bakery I really love in Volcano, CA.

    Breakfast sandwich

Today was my first time trying this eatery. I had the breakfast sandwich to go, the service was great and the sandwich was DELICIOUS. Will definitely come back and maybe try out new menu items, but it will be so tempting to get that delicious breakfast sandwich again! Cue to all lemon lovers, TRY IT OUT!!

This gem of a coffee shop and cafe is lovely. I wish I'd had time to sit and enjoy it longer. My iced Americano was fabulous. The wait staff were fun, relaxed and so efficient. Church and Main would be a daily stop if I lived in Ione!

Nothing beats grabbing an iced coffee on a lovely spring afternoon…read more I was in Jackson for some errands and wanted to check out the local coffee shop. It's been on my list for a while, but every time I wanted to go, it's been closed. Be forewarned that Boilerworks closes at 3 pm daily. The cafe sits in a quiet area at the end of Main Street, so it can be somewhat easy to miss. I ordered one of their specialty drinks, dubbed The Artemus, which is a hazelnut dirty chai with caramel sauce. There were no photos on Yelp showing the current menu and prices (until now as I'm sharing a photo of the menu), so I was a bit surprised by the cost of my drink. For a small town, I wasn't expecting to pay almost $10 for my chai. Note that I'm used to higher drink prices as I have plenty of boba, but none of my boba drinks have ever cost $10, however. I took it with a grain of salt and chalked it up to supporting a local small business. The nice lady/cafe owner made my Artemus for me super quickly, as I was the only customer. Her black Lab, which was adorable, was sleeping by her desk when I walked in. Upon receiving my drink, I took a seat outside at one of the metal stools. I didn't see the bookstore featured in the Yelp photos, so next time I'll have to return to check it out. The Artemus had a good flavor and thankfully, for the price, my cup was not full of ice (like some other big chain coffee place *cough cough*). Also, the iced drinks only come in one size (20 oz). To be fair, I think the drink is worth the price as it's definitely not watered down and it's taking me a while to finish it (currently typing this review while birdwatching on our property). All in all, while the prices are a bit steep, I would still recommend Boilerworks Cafe, and it's conveniently in downtown Jackson right off the 49.

BOILERWORKS HAS MOVED! Same great coffee, same great smiling faces. Boilerworks is on the far end…read moreof their old location by the National Hotel. Their new little nook is so quaint, love the room across the way for puzzles, books and gathering. The owners are always so nice. I like to avoid the chain coffee spots where I can and Boilerworks is my first stop before strolling Main St.
