I went with a sourdough loaf, their garden focaccia, and their best selling morning bun. The morning bun was delicious, and I don't even like morning pastries. Great with a coffee. The sourdough bread was as good as the reviews said they were. We made multiple sandwiches at home with them and with their house made vinaigrette (definitely order a side of this), it elevated the at-home sandwiches to another level. The garden focaccia was solid but not my favorite, it did go well with the pasta we made though. I wish they sold their sandwich focaccia bread as a standalone though. I was chatting with some other people in line and they saying how they go for their sandwiches because their vinaigrette and focaccia bread was so good, so definitely plan on ordering a sandwich next time around! I remembered that Chocolatte was nearby and decided to go support a local business. It's been a hot minute since I've gotten a coffee from them, and I was intrigued by their Valentine's Day menu. Ultimately I went with an iced Cupid's Cherry Kiss, while my husband wanted an affogato with extra shot. The staff were friendly and efficient at making our beverages. While we waited, we took a seat by the window to people watch. My drink was so cute, especially with the sprinkles. They added a lovely texture to a velvety chai. Ok! I guess we are having frozen yogurt. What a cute shop. Such a welcoming vibe. A few nice tables and chairs on the front patio. Plants, greenery and lights that illuminate at dark. You know you just want to take your yogurt and sit and watch the world go by while relaxing in that comfy space. Oh my... the inside of the small shop was peaceful and equally as well appointed as the patio. Chairs with pillows and wood tables with comfortable seats. Even a flickering candle in the back corner. There were two young women behind the counter with nice smiles as we entered. One explained the "ropes". Pointed us to the yogurt choices and bowls. We were on our wayyyy. Interestingly... the yogurt choices only included non fat and low fat. Hmmm. No regular fat yogurt?:) Full disclosure: I am not really a frozen yogurt fan. Or I should say I "was" not a fan! Omg! The Cake Batter, frozen, low fat, yogurt was soooo good! I love this more than ice cream. And believe me... I love ice cream. Thick, creamy and lucious. Satisfying in the best possible way. They offer a huge variety of flavorful veggie and meat dishes. Their saag paneer, veggie korma, butter chicken, and naan continue to be our faves. Tip: They bake the naan fresh after you've placed your order. You may want to wait 5-10 minutes before heading to the buffet. Otherwise, the naan arrives after you've finished your first plate.
