Opened up at a new location and it's even better! Same quality items but with some new additions and a whole new indoor and outdoor seating area, plus in a pretty part of town right by the park. Really glad to see these guys open up here, the new location even has sports on tv! Come in for a drink and a bite you won't be disappointed.

Amazing selection of donuts, pastries, and tasty breakfast sandwiches. This is a small shop on the side of the road. However, the selection and quality inside is perfect and affordable. All of the staff are very friendly and they make all sandwiches fresh and served hot upon ordering. There is a huge selection of individual cold drinks as well as a mini coffee bar. There was possibility of them moving locations, but as of right now, they are staying where they are. If you need to grab a quick bite or you're looking to satisfy that donut craving make sure you give them a try.

This is one of those roadside gems. It has a pretty good selection of pastries, freshly made sandwiches, coffee, refrigerators full of sodas and drinks, fast service, clean, friendly staff, lots of parking and, well, that's about all you need from a roadside quick stop. It's one of my go-to places when I'm in the area and that's a lot and spread over many many years. Can't go wrong with this place.

This place is a staple in Plymouth. There's really not much around so I didn't expect much... boy was I so happily surprised. The staff is so warm and welcoming, the prices are so reasonable and the menu is delicious. I went back 3 times in 3 days! The croissants are so buttery and flakey they melt in your mouth. We tried both the croissant breakfast sandwich and the ham cheese and jalapeño croissant. We tried the LARGER than life bagels and the donuts. The donuts are truly so fresh and delicious. They're light and fluffy. They also fill your donuts to order... pick any donut and they can fill it with cream, lemon or raspberry... so unique and special! Truly a dream. Don't miss out on this place.... It's a total gem!

Delicious and fast! Fresh bagels and coffee hit the spot after a weekend of wine tasting.

Indulge In Your Chocolate Addictions…read more SITREP Before heading to the Taste Bar & Restaurant, we wandered to and stopped into this luscious nearby establishment: I was IMMEDIATELY SEIZED by a divine vision of Chocolate Truffles that overcame my sense. But when I came to, I realized I had merely *blinked*, for presenting themselves and populating the refrigerated display case in front of me, were a group of Chocolate Truffles. THE SETUP These aren't your local truffles either: these babies come all the way from Texas, where they know how to be *whip up* into shape, and lasso'd into a golden box corral! They are not INexpensive: $3.50 each - but I am willing to indulge my craving for magnificent, delicious, spiritually-altering, mind-bending chocolate experiences! For me, the box of SIX - that would be $21 according to regular math - was discounted to $18, and so yes, I fell for that psychological marketing ploy. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-pantry-plymouth?select=CpUxJCgn_rTtM5vof_WG4g&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w I broke my limited selections down to: * TWO Dark Raspberries Truffles (I KNOW what I like) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-pantry-plymouth?select=TzgVm9Gb_jWs9PD38iLwmw&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w * TWO Espresso Cafe Truffles (I KNOW what I like - these SHOULD be called "The Nipples of Venus" a la AMADEUS) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-pantry-plymouth?select=KyLsm0UhtdEKEbNfxqPX9A&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w * ONE "Big Wigs" (Peanut Butter Truffle, feelin chancy); https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-pantry-plymouth?select=qTRqDKNo1FXVJfl4c6D7WA&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w and, * ONE "Showgirls!" All for me. (All for me). Next time. = I et a Chocolate Raspberry and a Chocolate Espresso on the car trek back home this past Saturday evening.... *Mmmm* ("Ohhhhhh") = I et the White Chocolate Raspbeery and the Peanut Butter on Sunday *MMMMM (Tonguegasm); and, = I et the 2nd of each of the Chocolate Raspberry and the Chocolate Espresso last night. Besides, the 4 remaining truffles BARELY survived being stowed inside my computer case, trying to protect them from the hot 100 degree sun, and the car trip back. = Pro-tip: should always carry a cooler in the car for spontaneous moments like this during the summer - I'll remember this next time. Nothing beats grabbing an iced coffee on a lovely spring afternoon…read more I was in Jackson for some errands and wanted to check out the local coffee shop. It's been on my list for a while, but every time I wanted to go, it's been closed. Be forewarned that Boilerworks closes at 3 pm daily. The cafe sits in a quiet area at the end of Main Street, so it can be somewhat easy to miss. I ordered one of their specialty drinks, dubbed The Artemus, which is a hazelnut dirty chai with caramel sauce. There were no photos on Yelp showing the current menu and prices (until now as I'm sharing a photo of the menu), so I was a bit surprised by the cost of my drink. For a small town, I wasn't expecting to pay almost $10 for my chai. Note that I'm used to higher drink prices as I have plenty of boba, but none of my boba drinks have ever cost $10, however. I took it with a grain of salt and chalked it up to supporting a local small business. The nice lady/cafe owner made my Artemus for me super quickly, as I was the only customer. Her black Lab, which was adorable, was sleeping by her desk when I walked in. Upon receiving my drink, I took a seat outside at one of the metal stools. I didn't see the bookstore featured in the Yelp photos, so next time I'll have to return to check it out. The Artemus had a good flavor and thankfully, for the price, my cup was not full of ice (like some other big chain coffee place *cough cough*). Also, the iced drinks only come in one size (20 oz). To be fair, I think the drink is worth the price as it's definitely not watered down and it's taking me a while to finish it (currently typing this review while birdwatching on our property). All in all, while the prices are a bit steep, I would still recommend Boilerworks Cafe, and it's conveniently in downtown Jackson right off the 49.

Did a quick Yelp search, and found Blue Door Bakery and let's just say, I'm glad I did! They bake everything the morning before they open, so everything we got was super hot and fresh. I went with a sourdough loaf, their garden focaccia, and their best selling morning bun. The morning bun was delicious, and I don't even like morning pastries. Great with a coffee. The sourdough bread was as good as the reviews said they were. We made multiple sandwiches at home with them and with their house made vinaigrette (definitely order a side of this), it elevated the at-home sandwiches to another level. The garden focaccia was solid but not my favorite, it did go well with the pasta we made though. I wish they sold their sandwich focaccia bread as a standalone though. I was chatting with some other people in line and they saying how they go for their sandwiches because their vinaigrette and focaccia bread was so good, so definitely plan on ordering a sandwich next time around!
