Do not order wings! I don't think it's chicken. It's too small to be chicken. I think it's from one of those birds hanging around the shop, that got caught because they ran out of chicken. During my recent visit to Church's Chicken at location #787 in Baldwin Park, CA, I had an unfortunate experience. The service was extremely poor, with Carlydi was standing at the register, I tried place an order she was being unresponsive and walking away. Didn't say anything. I guess she wasn't the cashier? But she was standing there. while I was trying to place my order. Despite having plenty of chicken available, the lack of customers raised concerns about the freshness of the chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken strips I received were cold and seemed old, lacking the hot and crunchy quality I expected. My mother's fried chicken combo was also disappointing, as it was hard and crunchy, far from being fresh. Sweet tea wasn't sweet. Franklin, the cashier, didn't make the situation any better, providing nothing special in terms of service. I have no intention of revisiting this location, and I strongly advise others to avoid it as well. Instead, I suggest seeking better service and fresher food at Superior, located behind this Church's Chicken. Or stick to Poppeys chicken The location was okay, Restroom was dirty but the lobby was clean. Just out dated. Overall, the food and service at this location were mediocre at best. This was my first visit to this Church's Chicken here in Baldwin Park. I've driven by here many times and visited a few of the other stores in the shopping center and I've been here once previously. It's not a huge location but it does have a drive-through and that seems like a very popular option that people like. We got one of their family meals and we did a mix of the spicy and non-spicy chicken because they were low on the spicy. To accompany the chicken there was the option to get 3 large sides, or 2 large sides and 6 biscuits. We went with the option with biscuits. For our sides we got the mac & cheese and the fries. The biscuits are amazing here. Note to self, I will have to order extra biscuits. This was my mom's favorite item here. They're glazed with honey and it's crunchy on the outside yet also fluffy on the inside which is a great contrast of textures. What I like about their spicy chicken is that there's actually a mild kick to it compared to other fried chicken places. I still get hot sauce anyway so it drenched anyway. There is there tons of parking right around here. There are a lot of other stores here in this plaza but they are in they're in their own corner so they're not really affected by traffic. This is definitely the place to come for fried chicken if you're in the area. read more

This place have nice service, but the food is horrible. The chicken was very oily. Not what I ordered. The Worker seem to not what're doing. Chicken very oily biscuits hard as a rock macaroni very old mashed potatoes durable french fries were OK. I know I can get a refund. Wow, I cant believe all of the bad reviews. I have been coming to this Churchs location for a very long time. Even when i lived in Baldwin Park for a little while 8 years ago, I used to come to Churchs every weekend. I was here not long ago and i ordered the 10 piece tenders with biscuits. And i bought a whole lemonade with 20 piece chicken meal. Food was cooked right. Chicken is always fresh. They never run out of chicken like Popeyes and KFC be doing. Churchs never let me down. This is the only one in the neighborhood. She doesnt work there anymore, The Mexican young lady would hook me up with a bunch of sauces for my chicken tenders. Usually, we go to the location in La Puente since it's about a mile closer than thIs location; but after years of getting slow and bad service there, we took a shot and drove a little further to this location last night. The service was like night and day. The food was roughly the same quality, but everything was handled quickly and we got our order faster than expected.
