Do not order wings! I don't think it's chicken. It's too small to be chicken. I think it's from one of those birds hanging around the shop, that got caught because they ran out of chicken. Or it may be the shop owner supplying their own supply instead of using the franchise products to better profit the owner or the manager working that shift. I've had wings from other Church's before and often but never had it like this shop. Someone should look into this. read more

The worst service EVER!! Berating the customers and insulting them when trying to give them a heads up on the insects that are being served in the food. All the employees are rude and have the worst customer service skills. The place is super dirty and disgusting all around. Good luck going there. read more

I went through the drive thru and order a box 3 pc for $5.29 for my son. Alberto was the cashier. When I got home, it only had two piece. I tried calling the number ( 626) 337-5433 on the invoice but no one answered. This is ridiculous. read more

Came here craving some fried chicken and it did not disappoint. The chicken is super crispy and quite flavorful. I got the three piece mixed chicken combo with mash potato and cold slaw on the side. Everything was how'd you expect churches to be. This location has pretty fresh food and I enjoyed it. Also yelp check-in is 10% off which is pretty nice! read more

Alright I don't know what else to say aside from my chicken was freaking cold, the outside was luke warm at best, and that it tasted like it was double fried from yesterday. Also if this doesn't look raw, it sure as heck felt cold enough to be. Incredibly disappointed and I rarely give out 1 stars. Please do better because this could mess someone up. read more

During my recent visit to Church's Chicken at location #787 in Baldwin Park, CA, I had an unfortunate experience. The service was extremely poor, with Carlydi was standing at the register, I tried place an order she was being unresponsive and walking away. Didn't say anything. I guess she wasn't the cashier? But she was standing there. while I was trying to place my order. Despite having plenty of chicken available, the lack of customers raised concerns about the freshness of the chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken strips I received were cold and seemed old, lacking the hot and crunchy quality I expected. My mother's fried chicken combo was also disappointing, as it was hard and crunchy, far from being fresh. Sweet tea wasn't sweet. Franklin, the cashier, didn't make the situation any better, providing nothing special in terms of service. I have no intention of revisiting this location, and I strongly advise others to avoid it as well. Instead, I suggest seeking better service and fresher food at Superior, located behind this Church's Chicken. Or stick to Poppeys chicken The location was okay, Restroom was dirty but the lobby was clean. Just out dated. Overall, the food and service at this location were mediocre at best. This was my first visit to this Church's Chicken here in Baldwin Park. I've driven by here many times and visited a few of the other stores in the shopping center and I've been here once previously. It's not a huge location but it does have a drive-through and that seems like a very popular option that people like. We got one of their family meals and we did a mix of the spicy and non-spicy chicken because they were low on the spicy. To accompany the chicken there was the option to get 3 large sides, or 2 large sides and 6 biscuits. We went with the option with biscuits. For our sides we got the mac & cheese and the fries. The biscuits are amazing here. Note to self, I will have to order extra biscuits. This was my mom's favorite item here. They're glazed with honey and it's crunchy on the outside yet also fluffy on the inside which is a great contrast of textures. What I like about their spicy chicken is that there's actually a mild kick to it compared to other fried chicken places. I still get hot sauce anyway so it drenched anyway. There is there tons of parking right around here. There are a lot of other stores here in this plaza but they are in they're in their own corner so they're not really affected by traffic. This is definitely the place to come for fried chicken if you're in the area. read more

This was my folks' favorite chicken place. I never thought I would see this place again but so happened to be in the area and had to order the chicken. I got the 11 piece and brought it over to my folks. After all these years, it wasn't too bad. My folks said they loved it. Kudos to you, Church's Chicken. Thanks for keeping it original. read more

This place have nice service, but the food is horrible. The chicken was very oily. Not what I ordered. The Worker seem to not what're doing. Chicken very oily biscuits hard as a rock macaroni very old mashed potatoes durable french fries were OK. I know I can get a refund. I'm not gonna drive 30 minutes to do that so please do not go to establishment. I spent almost 50 bucks and had to throw everything in the trash because it was horrible. read more

If I could put 0 stars I would . BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I highly suggest u do not go here. It is DISGUSTING inside. Roaches in my DRINK and between my napkins. Absolutely disgusting. So I pull up to the drive thru, order and am informed theyre are out of Mac n cheese for the night, I have had this problem 3 of 4 times this time I said I'd wait for it because I was getting 2 of them, the girl then informed me it would be a 22 minute wait, I said that's fine, while waiting she had 4 other orders who requested Mac n cheese and she let them know varying times from my original 22 minute wait, so knowing all this happened the company is throwing away money because you're employee thinks 7 is too late to have Mac n cheese ready for paying patrons if it didn't taste so good I'd just stop coming. Maybe management or corporate can improve this location. Update finally got home with my order that I waited for and they forgot to tell me was ready so I drove up to ask they said it just came out and was ready, and in those 22+ minutes they didn't even remember to put gravy on my mashed potatoes, smh read more

I wish I could give them zero starts. I feel like you should take pride in the food that you serve. I could never see myself serving food that has been sitting under a heat. Lamp way to long. Wow, I cant believe all of the bad reviews. I have been coming to this Churchs location for a very long time. Even when i lived in Baldwin Park for a little while 8 years ago, I used to come to Churchs every weekend. I was here not long ago and i ordered the 10 piece tenders with biscuits. And i bought a whole lemonade with 20 piece chicken meal. Food was cooked right. Chicken is always fresh. They never run out of chicken like Popeyes and KFC be doing. Churchs never let me down. This is the only one in the neighborhood. She doesnt work there anymore, The Mexican young lady would hook me up with a bunch of sauces for my chicken tenders. Always happy when i come and leave here. read more

A good, clean store with good service. Haven't been to a Church's in years and was happy to pass by this location on my way home today. Ordered the usual chicken and biscuits and while they're good, they simply pale in comparison to Krispy Krunchy Chicken's. While Church's is still better than Popeyes and miles ahead of KFC, I doubt I will buy chicken from any place other than Krispy Krunchy in the future. read more

Whoever worked today, May 22nd 2020, you're the sh**! I ordered through Postmates and usually EVERY TIME I have ordered anything through Postmates, there's an issue with my order. I was honestly going to stop ordering, lol. Anyway back to Church's.. you guys seriously impressed me. Everything was package super organized. Everything was clean, nothing spilling out. Not to mention the food was amazing. Thank you guys for doing your job properly, seriously made me enjoy my food a lot more after a long day at work. I know working customer service is a pain in the butt and you guys don't get thanked enough. Keep up the good work ps, those jalapeño popper things are fire, you guys need to put in more. Usually, we go to the location in La Puente since it's about a mile closer than thIs location; but after years of getting slow and bad service there, we took a shot and drove a little further to this location last night. The service was like night and day. The food was roughly the same quality, but everything was handled quickly and we got our order faster than expected. Horrible chicken! These guys are obviously re-breading and re-frying yesterday's left over chicken. Look at the pictures showing how thick the crust was. As a result, I had to peel away later after layer of skin (aka breading) to get to the dried up chicken on the inside. This operator is a thief who deserves to have his franchise boycotted. What a scam. Must think people are stupid but he's the idiot for offending and insulting his customer. Never again will I go to this location. I'll stick to El Monte and Norwalk! read more

I have been going to your store and was very happy with all of the people that work there. But about a month ago, I went there and was helped by Junior (that what he said his name was) and I was so disappointed. I bought one chicken and a biscuit. When I asked for a paper plate, he said "that doesn't make sense since he already gave me a box and he was rude. I have never had a problem with this store previously and everyone was so nice and helpful. This makes me stop going to your store, specially KFC just open across the street from your store. I have nothing to loose for not going to your store and also KFC tastes better. Good luck with your business. read more

This review is mainly for the corn on the cob and the mac & cheese. It's been years since I've been to a Church's so I was SHOCKED to find out that they offer mac and cheese now. (Never did I think those circulars would be so useful, but praise them for giving me coupons to try the mac and cheese out.) I used to be addicted to the corn on the cob they had here. Now it's just tasteless and sad. At least it wasn't dried out or overcooked. Mac and cheese was dry and the edges of some noodles were burnt (honestly...how?). It tasted like microwaveable t.v. dinner mac and cheese, though, so I wasn't particularly impressed. The coupon for 5 mixed legs & thighs with 2 sides and 2 biscuits for $6.99 was worth it, although I was disappointed by the sides. read more

I come here from time to time when I'm looking for fried chicken near my house and mashed potatoes. I usually use the coupons they give through their app, which makes the prices reasonable. I only use their drive thru, but if you want, they have a few parking spaces in front of their shop and a big shared lot if that is full. I have had a consistent experience at this location and have no complaints. read more

Have it a 1 cause I had to put at least one star. Came here on 4/17/23 got about 4 combos through drive through. Ordered my food pulled up to window and the kid was laughing saying what did you order again. Repeated the order to him and he still messed up the order. Forgot one combo so when I told them they must of got the food that looked like it was sitting there for days cause that's what I got. Never coming back here again. read more

She refused and again told me to order online. I told her I would be filing a complaint for false advertising. When I went back inside to take pictures of both signs, one of the employees was already taking the inside sign down. It's unbelievable that they refused to honor a posted price over a $2 difference. I did file a complaint with corporate. Be careful going to this restaurant for weekly specials because the prices advertised may not match what they actually charge.

I have got to say the broth here for both the Pho and the Bun Bo Hui was quite flavorful. There was no pork feet inside the Bun Bo, as I have seen from other restaurants, but that was good for me as I usually ask for it not to be included. Great to have finally been able to try this place, and will def stop by if I am looking for Pho while visiting this area. Can't wait to try some of their other dishes.
