It's hard to really say what you should order here, I personally like the spicy wonton soup, but every single one of their appetizers that I have tried are amazing, unfortunately, I haven't tried too many of their main dishes as I tend to be a creature of habit, but I'm sure just like with all the appetizers that I've tried everything you order here will come out amazing. Walking inside, the interior is reminiscent of classic Hong Kong style cafes, featuring various booths and large dining tables with tablecloths. You are greeted immediately by a BBQ station on the right, though it was not fully stocked with ducks or other roasted meats. Throughout the dining room, there are plenty of photos of the different dishes they offer. We had a party of eight to celebrate a birthday, and the staff was kind enough to hold our cake in the back for us. We ordered the following: Specialty Fried Fish: This was the absolute highlight of the evening. The fish was incredibly fresh, nicely fried, and contained roe inside. It was served on top of a soy and oil mix. The freshness of the fish really stood out. Golden Eel Clay Pot Rice (Large): The rice preparation was very unique. The pot was packed with plenty of eel, and the rice was already mixed for you when it arrived. The flavor was light and not heavy on soy sauce, with lots of fresh cilantro and onion mixed in. There were also plenty of crunchy rice bits on the side. A very solid dish. Tiger Prawns with Vermicelli: This was a bit on the salty side, but the prawns themselves were delicious and had a great light braised flavor. Ong Choy with Tofu Sauce: A great dish featuring crunchy greens stir fried in a light tofu sauce. Our entire party finished this plate. Stir Fried Green Beans: Another major highlight of the night. The green beans were perfectly blistered and coated in what tasted like an XO style sauce. It had a really unique and lightly spicy flavor. Honey Walnut Shrimp: Probably the lowest point of the meal. The shrimp are uniquely fried and layered on top of wonton strips, which I have never seen before. However, the walnuts tasted a bit old, making the dish just okay overall. Peking Pork Chop: These featured a nice sweet and tangy Peking sauce over the pork chops. The cuts of meat used were less fatty, which I really appreciated. Filet Mignon French Style: This dish was good, but my only complaint is that there was a lot of excess oil pooled at the bottom of the plate. Otherwise, it still tasted fine. Staff (name on receipt - Yaya) is helpful and hardworking. Yaya answered all my questions, and Yaya moved quickly. I ordered the King Steamed Meat Bao ($9.14 - 3pc) and 10 Won Bread ($5). The food was ready in 14 minutes and 54 seconds. The 10 Won Bread has three filling choices: mozzarella cheese, custard, or red bean. I selected the custard filling. The 10 Won Bread had a thin, crisp, and crunchy outer crust; its similar to a finely toasted waffle. Its inner layer is very soft and spongey. Breaking apart this toasted pastry, hot & gooey custard cream bursts forward. I enjoyed the sensation and mild-sweetness of this sticky, flowing liquid. The King Steamed Meat Bao also tasted freshly made. It avoids being dry; rather, its bun is supple, buoyant, and springy. Its filling tastes fresh and slightly savory. Its mashed meat and diced glass noodles add a pleasant bounce. Although the filling lacked any memorable taste, I appreciated how the filling wasn't salty. Thankfully, its counters and floors are clean. Also, I felt safe since a security guard is stationed by the entrance. Fortunately, there's plenty of indoor and outdoor tables to use since it's connected to the Haven City Market. Bright, bubbly music appeared around 10AM; however, it was silent prior.
