This is one of the closest locations to me, and every time I go here something happens. I usually order a family meal with a bunch of stuff and don't usually check it is how it happens. They mess up my order or forget to add something. The last time I went, the chicken was extremely greasy, old tasting like it was cooked hours ago without proper drainage of the grease. I had the worst stomach ache the next morning as did my husband. I was also told 8 minute wait on spicy, then when I said ok she says "oh sorry I meant 20 minutes" they were closing in 30 minutes and probably was trying to just get rid of what was already cooked. The chicken is usually pretty good so I was a little disappointed when it was gross. Great experience. Hot fresh chicken. I used to go to this franchise to eat back in the day. Before there was a lot of other chicken places in middle school. My aunt stayed close to a location in Savannah GA oh the memories. Delicious food here! I went here here 6/22/2024. read more

Customer service is horrible here... First time going to this location because my family wanted this and I could not believe how the Drive Thru worker was acting. I understand everyone might have something going on in their lives but don't act like I'm bothering you because I wanted my correct order. Also there were no pleasantries, just blank stares and irritation. I doubt that I will come back here but I would suggest that the staff try to get orders right and don't have an attitude when the customers are being nice to you. read more

While headed to places unknown, I drove passed this location and was compelled to turn around for some jalepeno bombers. If you have never eaten them before, let me give you a description. They are fried melted cheese with pieces of jalepeno peppers. They are so good. While there, I decided to order fried okra too. After all okra is a vegetable. And I was already going with fried, so it goes with the bombers. Whoopee! My items were hot and delicious. I placed my order via drive through. I received the order really quickly. I am not familiar with this area but the location looked pretty new. read more

Went in yesterday on a Tuesday around 5pm for $1.69 two piece dark special. Sure the employees were talking not nicely about another employee that was not there ... but hey, it's Church's. Where should I start? This restaurant need to get it together. Now any one should know those boxes they put your food in sometimes get nasty or foreign objects fall in them. I ordered the chicken strip meal, got home low and behold I see a black object on the inside of the lid and a small piece of hair. And once I see hair that's it!!! I'm done!!!! Pay these workers more money so they will take more pride in what they serve! These people handle our food which we consume!!!! No one wants to be served nasty food in nasty containers. Approximately December 23, 2018, I visited Church's Chicken drive thru window on Covington Hwy off of Panola Road. My meal included a drink I had a sweet tea. After returning home I finished my tea and as always I took the lid off to get the very last swig. To my shock & dismay I discovered this foul looking creature lounging at the bottom of my cup. I screamed and began gagging and vomiting After I got my composure I poured a little tea out to force it to the rim to take a closer look. My entire family gathered around and couldn't believe what we were looking at. I was sick to my stomach the days leading up to. Christmas Day and have not been able to eat without vomiting. Today is Thursday December 27, and I'm still suffering the effects of encountering this vile, repulsive scum. I have reported this to the dealbreaker county board of environmental health and hope they do a through investigation so no one else gets sick from this restaurant. My rating is ZERO however the lowest rating offered is a 1 Star. I am unable to upload pics now because the system won't allow it but I will definitely keep trying. Queen B read more

Pulled up to the window to order a meal that was $8.00. I had a $50 and they would not accept my money. The 50 American dollars......

The place is dirty, food isn't cooked all the way & the staff is unaccommodating & unprofessional.

My first and last visit to this awful location. Lets just say, the staff was EXTREMELY attentive and VERY RESPECTFUL. In fact, its not like the food prepared was understandingly unsatisfactory, the staff GLADLY tried to fix their NUMEROUS PROBLEMS regarding my order. What happened exactly was this: Me: "Hey, I would like to place an order for your bourbon smokehouse chicken and jalapeno cheese bombers." Cashier rings me up with a slightly "pinched" face. Opened my order, notices no jalapeno cheese bombers. Goes back to the Cashier. Me: " Um, I ordered an order of Jalapeno Cheese bombers, but they're not in my order." Cashier: "I placed it in your bag, are you trying to get free food or something?" Me: "I'm sorry? No, I'm not trying to get free food, I literally just opened my bag and it was not there." Cashier: "Let me see." I show her. Cashier walks to the back and gives me some Jalapeno Cheese bombers with no attempt with an apology. I promptly left. Halfway in traffic, I take a bite of the jalapenos. Lets just say, Ice- Cold Jalapenos are no way near pleasant or delicious. The Covington Hwy. location has to be the worst. My dilemma with this location is I sat in line ten minutes at the speaker..kept saying hello between the two speakers never got an answer. I then pull up to the window, saw two females with headsets o....one happened to be the manger..I let them know I was waiting to order ten minutes..at this point the two females are looking crazy...so I asked ok can I place my order...*blank stares* I hear one the females say I couldn't hear herso I ask so ok you couldn't hear me can I place my order..she looks at the other female and says I need to go to the second speaker...mind you this is the so called manager..so I said so after sitting waiting patiently, this lady wants me to get back in line because their speaker system is shittyThey were plenty staffed so that wasn't the issue...I've had issues with them before...never will I visit again..Black female manager...GHETTO as hell..and unprofessional as they closed the window and just stood there...then a old dude came to the window asking can I help you..I just said no scrammed‍Not to mention every visit there's a new staffWish I could give them a -0. read more

Im skeptical of eating in areas like this but again im faced with no choice, because where I'm headed today the selection will boil down to mcdonalds. Lesser of 2 evils **shrugs** Just to give you an idea of the neighborhood; the nearest starbucks is 30-40 minutes away 0_o but I digress.... lol I'm sitting in the car while my companion goes inside to get the food. I asked for the Texas Pete tender strips. He comes back to the whip to inform it comes with 2 sides, being I don't eat at churchs to really know their menu I requested fried okra and mashed potatoes. While sitting in the car I observed their signage that states every Tuesday 2pc $1.69 that's a good deal if you eat dark meat. I dont...... I prefer breasts. 14 pieces will set you back $13.99 and I think this side says it comes with sides. Don't want that many pieces try the 9 piece for $8.99 but again these specials and their prices are based upon you eating dark meat. Impressively my food was hot, fresh, and looked appetizing which I really wasn't expecting for churchs lol the Texas Pete tenders were disappointing tho; I love spicy food, these strips were nothing but cajun season dusted on them smh next time If I'm ever in the mood for churchs I will say extra seasoning. My mashed potatoes tasted good and not fabricated. Who can argue against fried okra?! Devine!! My biscuit was how I like them to be; hot, buttery, and the honey baked in to where it has a slight crispness to it. Had to wait in the drive thru yesterday for over 20 minutes yesterday ( the way they have the drive thru set up , once you get in line at certain point you can't get out of line and leave ) . Seems like a very poorly managed store .Not going back. read more
