We ordered the sandwich combo and the Big G combo. After receiving our drinks and paying we had a little bit of a wait. Not a big deal. Once we received our meals in containers and opened them at our booth, everything seemed fine. The sandwich does get served on a typical store bought bun. Wife did not like the bun. Her and I agreed the chicken was good. Three strips were on her sandwich. My Big G order comes with 6 chicken strips. We liked the golden crinkle fries. They were cooked perfect. Taste was good. Half of my strips were more like nuggets, but the flavor and texture were good. The bread that came with my combo was lightly toasted and tasted good as well. Overall we enjoyed dining here. My wife made a point of praising the hushpuppies, some BBQ joints are not worth eating but these were good. I was hoping for spare ribs, Kansa City style ribs or beef ribs but they don't do those anymore. The beans were good and worth eating, the brisket was moist and not too smoky. We generally liked everything. One thing for oaths with sensitive hearing, because there are few decorations and hard walls and floors the room is kind of loud and echoey. I hope they make some effort to soften the sound, hang some soft decorations or do something to make the sound more appealing instead of the sound of an empty warehouse.

My husband politely asked if they were closing, and the young woman responded bluntly (and quite rudely), "No, we're open, but our lobby closes at 6." Lobby hours? That was news to us. There was no signage posted about the lobby closing earlier, and even a quick Google search didn't show anything about separate lobby hours. To make matters worse, when my daughter attempted to use the restroom, she was told they were already closed as well. Between the rudeness, the lack of any visible communication about lobby hours, and the very uncomfortable, unwelcoming atmosphere, we decided to leave. Thankfully, we went to Jersey Mike's, where we were greeted kindly and treated professionally. We understand policies exist -- but the way they're communicated (or not) and the way customers are treated makes a big difference. We won't be returning to this location.

The casserole was lukewarm & when our server returned with my sausage patties, Initially I thought they looked good but I was in for a let down because they were barely warm and burnt on the bottom (both patties were so burnt that my fork couldn't even go through the patty to separate and eat). I don't recall every liking their food growing up, so I kindly just told the server that was unfortunate because that was what I was looking forward to (thinking they obviously had it, since you can order it on DD). She told me to hold on, went to kitchen, came back after 5 min and said "we have one left". I have worked in the service industry my whole life so we all know what that means. They made me a shrimp and grit anyways even though it was nothing like advertised on DD. But that was still nice of them anyways so 3 stars for that because of customer service! In the end, I wished I would have just cooked it at home instead of being lazy haha. End of story, don't go to a restaurant ever expecting to be able to order something they are advertising to purchase on door dash. I learned my lesson and will call anywhere beforehand after seeing a special meal item on DD.
