    Caramel, chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla
    Sonia C.

I've been on the hunt for good and authentic churros. Specifically, churros that are made fresh to order like in Mexico and I was starting to think it didn't exist. It makes a big difference when they're made fresh to order and you eat them right then versus in some restaurants they're sitting there under a heating lamp. These churros are thicker since you can add different fillings or flavors inside or order them without it. He has strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, caramel or cajeta, and condensed milk or leche. When I went here with my friend he was out of the leche flavor but, that's ok because we could only share the 4. The vanilla was good and was like custard or pudding? Strawberry was good but was a little on the sweet side. I'm not usually a chocolate fan but this was yummy for a filling in the churro. Now my favorite of course was the caramel or cajeta. It wasn't Mexican caramel but traditional American caramel but, it was delicious. He accepts cash only and it's $2.50 per churro, which is more than reasonable. They're pretty thick, filling, and a very good size. So you might think you can handle more but they're pretty rich and you can order them without filling if you'd like too. I was so glad he didn't even start to prepare them until we walked up to his stand, making them fresh to order is everything. His hrs are daily 4pm-8:30pm.

Do you know the churro man who sells on Northgate Blvd? Cinco estrellas for Churros Supreme from me and Sonia C! Thanks Aubrey R. for the intel! Churros Supreme was the first stop for our dessert-then-dinner-and-a-movie journey on a Friday night, because why not? $2.50 per churro, made fresh to order, and choice of up to 5 different fillings! On this evening, the guy had chocolate, caramel, strawberry, and vanilla (out of the leche) so the two of us splurged on one of every flavor to split two ways. Cash only. Makes me miss the Churros La Union truck in Woodland where you could get the 9-foot Churro Roll for $9 back in the good old days. Anyhoo, this cool churrero is set up in front of El Bramido on Northgate Blvd in Natomas. His stand is simple but impressive! These aren't the freeform thin churros, but thick, crispy outside and soft inside, cinnamon sugar and then the yummy fillings. The strawberry was a bit artificial tasting but not terrible, sort of like for sundae toppings. The vanilla was custardlike and good. The caramel was not actually cajeta or dulce de leche but still delicious. My favorite actually was the chocolate, which wasn't as sweet as I expected -- maybe it's Mexican cacao? Decently sized, each churro longer than the bag you're given to go, hand-pumped filling just oozing out the ends. So hot and fresh, careful on that first bite! Deliciously delectable. Dessert cravings? Get your supreme churro fix and catch him from 4:00PM to 8:30PM.

Ohhh lawd hands down the best homemade churros in town that I've had. I had the both a non filled and filled cajete flavor and it was bomb. The churros were warm and perfectly flakey with cinnamon. The cart is right in front of the el Bramido restaurant on northgate.

First off, after hearing some hype about these churros, I finally got my hands on some. Here's my thoughts: 1. The hours of operation is not accurate on yelp. I've visited his little churro stand two times previously around 1-2pm and he's never there. He usually start selling around 4pm on average. I got mine at 7pm today. 2. The size of the churro is fair, it's about one foot long and about 1.5 inches in diameter thick. 3. As one of the yelp reviewer mentioned, this does not taste like a traditional churro. It is thicker and more bready. It lacked the cinnamon taste. Super soft in the inside. Little crispy on the outside. 4. It's nice that he offers different fillings. 5. For $3 I think that is fair for the size of the churro, however definitely did not live up to the hype. I'm not driving out of my way again for this churro as I think it is overrated. It's cool and decent but nothing to die for.

I love how fresh and pipping hot the churros were. The churros are different than other churros in that they are much thicker and more bread-like. Although the concept of churro was there, the texture was not there. The churros I got today were more breadlike than the typical crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Also, possibly the sugar and cinnamon coating was not mixed well so I could not taste the cinnamon. It was more like a bread version of churros covered in sugar. It was still good with my coffee. However, caramel filling was heavenly. Also, how can you not like the chocolate or vanilla fillings? It is worth a try!

Inside not cooked all the way

Was super excited to try them out because of the reviews I've seen on tik tok but sadly it is not what they have made it out to be. The churros are pretty big however it seems that the inside wasn't fully cooked. Got 2 plain ones and 2 with filling and had to just pull of the outer part since it was so doughy on the inside. My son was loving the music and the gentlemen looked up saw and proceed to put his AirPods in. My toddler noticed and asked what happen cuz he was enjoying the music. I guess the gentleman wasn't enjoying the dance show lol

06.23.23 THESE are THE BEST fresh made churros in town, for real!!

06.23.23 Oh Churros Supreme, how we miss you so!!! It's been almost 5yrs since we moved from this area, but practically EVERY time we're in this part of town, we are doing a drive by of our former favorite Mexican restaurant, El Bramido, to see if 'The Churro Man' is outside doin' his thang. There have been several times he'd been missing and it made us sad. But today, we weren't disappointed! Having just come from an early dinner in North Natomas, I had begun to regret eating a small extra plate at dinner and was feeling stuffed. I even had doubts, would I even be able to eat a churro right now?? But as luck would have it, The Churro Man WAS outside when we drove down Northgate Blvd on a Friday at 7:00pm. Whooo-hooo!!! Of course we stopped cuz Hubs wanted dessert. As we walked up and waited for only a few minutes to give our order, I already knew I'd be having myself some dessert too. I must've had it wrong just a few moments before, thinking I was full. HA! (There's always some small pocket of space in the tummy for dessert, right? LOL) I walked up and asked for a strawberry churro, Hubs ordered vanilla, then we stepped aside and anxiously watched the master at work, almost causing drool to form. Of course, these being fresh, there will be a small wait time.....got 5-10min? Trust me, it'd be worth more than that time and believe you me, we've done it before! But thank God we didn't have to this time!! Our 2 churros were handed to Hubs in a nice to-go 'paper sleeve', we paid the man our $5, then walked away. After snapping the mando pic, I couldn't wait to get into the car for that first bite, so I just went in for the kill standing on the sidewalk! When The Churro Man saw me & Hubs taking turns on eating each of our own churros, he waved me back over to hand me my own bag to enjoy my churro by myself, rather than hand it back & forth w/Hubs. How nice!! Such customer service!! For anyone who is looking for the best fresh made churros, look no further than Churros Supreme!!! Today we even saw several other churro carts/stands having popped up along Northgate, but this is the original cart out here!! It's the best around and we now are wondering if he does private parties. We'll have to look into it. Till next time Churro Guy aka The Churro Man aka Churros Supreme! Cuz we will come back again & again & again!!!

Honestly, I felt completely insulted like you're not supposed to say things like that to your customers or even about your customers. I felt myself getting ready to go completely off on him, so I walked away and went to sit back down. He had the audacity to tell my niece some people can't handle the truth. It's so baffling to me that a manager would say something like that. I know employees sometimes say inappropriate things, but he should know better!! This was supposed to be a nice family outing and he ruined my night. Luckily I have confidence in myself and his comment didn't give me a complex or make me like I look old. It was also disappointing because I went in there specifically to get an eclair, which is normally a decent size. For some reason, it was the half of the size and the same price.

Upon walking in I knew I made the right choice that morning,I know it sounds cliche but that place is a vibe. They were playing solid Latin music, the decor inside was truly thought thru to convey a particular feel-it felt great in there, now I just had to hope the coffee and small bites, matched up to the ambience. This particular morning was pretty busy as there were like about 10 people in line when I got there and only 1 person taking orders plus the tables were at about 90% capacity but it wasn't hard to find a place to sit because the turnover for tables was really fast. We decided to try a few things that visit,I went with a Dulce de Leche latte"Grandote" size ($7.00) and the wife went with a similar sized Mexican Mocha ($7.00).We also decided to get some food,so ended up going with the Bacon,Egg,and Cheese breakfast sandwich($7.50) and also the Torta de Jamon ($15.00). Coffee was made pretty quickly but there was a slight wait for the food but didn't mind it too much as I can tell it was made very fresh as I got to watch the worker make my Torta-very glad it wasn't premade. I really loved my Dulce de Leche latte-gave me caramel macchiato vibes but just different enough,it was really good,I tasted the Mexican Mocha and it tasted exactly like one should taste,it's just not my particular preference, but I blame that on my palette not the craftsmanship,as the wife truly enjoyed it. As for the food I really liked the Bacon breakfast sandwich, was a solid value for what we got,I would for sure order it again if I just wanted a quick small bite. The Torta de Jamon I really really enjoyed, featuring ham with avocado, pickled jalapeños,pepper jack cheese, fresh tomato, queso fresco served on toasted bread-very tasty and fresh tasting-I would for sure order it again. That being said, the true star of the night when it comes to this visit was the place itself,I really enjoyed the ambience, the customers, the decor,I'm really glad this place exists and it's a welcome addition to the downtown Sacramento coffee scene-I look forward to returning.
