Was in the area and decided to visit this location for an early dinner yesterday. The highlights.....the food, management, and prices were great. However, our server was a little inattentive. Not sure the reason but overall the visit was good. By the way, we ordered the (2) taco plate w/double rice and the combo platter w/enchiladas and a single taco.

Came here on a Sunday. It wasn't crazy busy. Services was great. Complimentary chips were thin slightly salty and fresh. The salsa was good. For the main course got the fried shrimp tacos. Ah-mazing. It hit the spot. The rice was a little spicier than I would have wanted. Refried beans were above average.

About 15 years ago, I visited Chuy's In Plano and tried a CoronaRita. It was love at first sip. The salty sour amazingness of corona with sweet, frozen margarita? Perfect. But I didn't realize when I moved to Addison Circle two years ago, that I would be five minutes away from not only that delicious beverage, but an amazing group of servers and bartenders and managers who would draw me into their establishment with their friendliness and fun atmosphere. The food is good, especially weird dishes like the green chile fried chicken and chick-a chick-a boom boom enchiladas. The reason I keep going back is the friendly service and camaraderie. Because I normally dine alone, I normally sit at the bar or in the bar area, and Emily is a rock star! So fun and friendly and makes a great drink. Also on hand are Kiera and Ray, always good for conversation, and the manager, Amber, has a great laugh. Before Covid, most of the locations had a nacho car. No, that was not a misspelling. They actually had nacho fixings in the cut-off trunk of a car, lol. Well, that's not quite back, but during happy hour at the Addison location, you can make yourself free nachos. They also have great happy hour prices on margaritas and what not. It is an inexpensive way to decompress after a crazy day at work. If it sounds like I am fanboying a little bit, I am. In an old black-and-white movie, Jimmy Stewart said the line, "No one brings anything small to a bar." A bar, a restaurant, any excuse to get out is time to get away from yourself and a laugh with others. That's what I found at Chuy's. Check them out in Addison! Especially Saturday through Tuesday in the evenings. Emily's shift. Enjoy all of the chips and ranch salsa you can eat. And ask for a margarita with a Corona. You cannot go wrong!

This was my second time coming here, and unfortunately, both visits didn't satisfy my taste buds. The rice and beans were dry on both occasions, and the soft tacos were underwhelming--I honestly could've made better ones at home. To be fair, I was invited both times, and this isn't a place I would choose on my own. The drink I had was pretty good, but overall, there's not much else to say. Just not my cup of tea, food-wise.

I've been to this location on two occasions with my mother and we both had an ok time. The customer service was great and the food came out in a timely manner. I always order the guacamole appetizer and frozen swirl margaritas. I've noticed the frozen margaritas tend to melt down quickly but the drink is still ok. The guacamole is always great but on my last visit it seemed to be a little less fresh. The fresh salsa and ranch jalapeño dip are good and I always get that to go! For food, I've ordered crispy shell beef tacos and on another occasion the enchiladas. I can say I didn't like the sour cream based enchilada but the traditional red sauce was ok. They only offer refried beans (no charro) and rice with your meal. My mom ordered the taco salad on one occasion and enchiladas on the next. She did enjoy her food but had the same feelings about the sour cream sauce. Overall, it's your typical Tex-Mex.

Look, okay. I'm embarrassed to say I've never been to Chuy's until now but I can promise you I'll be back. Homemade Tex Mex at the most reasonable price around. The atmosphere is pretty eccentric as you would expect and the service is great. I'm sure it can be a lot on a weekend evening, but for a Saturday afternoon we had a great time. The Chuy's hype is real, y'all.

To go version : I was shocked this all so cheap I had to double check everything was correct. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!! They included this other sauce that we absolutely loved ! Will definitely be back in person ! The building is so cute and decorative especially the taco door handles !

Is the Nacho car still offered at this location?

No. They no longer have Nacho car but have other happy hour specials now.

Does this location accept reservations or call aheads? I want to bring a party of about 15 people here to celebrate an engagement next week and want to give the restaurant a heads up and hopefully already have a table set up when we get there

Yes they do. Call them ahead of time and they will take care of you and all your needs.

The initial arrival was entirely seamless, as I was able to secure a most convenient parking space directly on the street. Upon crossing the threshold, I must confess my initial impression was that the venue might be somewhat ordinary however, I was instantly disabused of that notion. The interior architecture features a truly magnificent, extensive collection of vintage typewriters alongside an absolutely breathtaking, grand display of fine wines. Having personal experience with typewriters from years past, I found their impressive stock to be thoroughly nostalgic, and the wine selection was nothing short of exciting. While the venue beautifully accommodates guests for delightful alfresco dining, I escorted myself inside to a highly comfortable table. The gentleman assisting me was exceptionally warm, providing a level of attentive hospitality that makes the entire excursion worthwhile. For my afternoon refreshment, I requested a crisp Blackberry Smash. While engaging in a brief, lovely conversation with the waiter, he elegantly suggested a curation of bruschetta pairings that would harmonize beautifully with the cocktail. On his superb guidance, I selected a quartet: the Goat Cheese & Spicy Pepper Jam, the Tomato & Mozzarella, the Apple Brie & Fig, and the French Onion Bruschetta. The kitchen executed the order with commendable precision. When the board arrived, the presentation was an absolute masterpiece and the entire flavor profile was a complete delight. The sophisticated combination of savory, sweet, and crisp textures left me thoroughly happy. It is an absolute treat of a destination, completely worthy of one's dining calendar. I am entirely enamored with this exciting new find and shall most certainly be returning

The seats are spacious and comfy so you don't feel like you have to fight the table for room. I ordered the chicken nachos for the appetizer, and man this is one of my favorite dishes. The portion is amazing, I mean you can probably just order this and have this feed 3 or 4 people. They are not stingy with the protein, everything is well disbursed throughout the nachos making every bite just that much more enjoyable. If you are a truffles lover, I recommend give this a try. I will say, it was a little overpowering-maybe sprinkled on the truffle sauce, the other flavors of the pizza would have just popped out as well, but overall happy I tried this. I had more than half to take home for leftovers. Still good, throw it in the air fryer or oven to reheat and it almost tastes better. $16.00 - $19.00 (varies by location) 50% off pizzas during designated Happy Hour times. I eat a lot of wraps--honestly, that's probably why you're reading my reviews in the first place--and this wrap is absolutely top-tier. Great size, great portions, and it actually feels like a full meal. You're not going to be sitting there thinking, "I should've just gotten a burger." Get the wrap. Get the fries too. Both are excellent. Next, not the worst issue in the world, but these new menus need some work. They don't stay open on their own and just feel kind of cheap. Not a huge deal, but it's something that should probably be addressed. Finally, the nachos. If you know me, you know I love all kinds of food, but nachos are weirdly my favorite food. I've always loved Sidecar's nachos, but it honestly feels like they've gotten a little worse every time I've ordered them over the last four years. Originally, you could choose between wonton chips and tortilla chips. Now the menu says tortilla chips only, so I expected tortilla chips. Instead, they came out with wonton chips. Not the end of the world, but the bigger issue is that the cheese sticks way too much to the wonton chips. It feels like they're being baked too long. Every time you try to pull a nacho apart, everything breaks. This definitely needs to be fixed. Overall, though, the Crispy Caesar Wrap alone is worth coming back for, and Sidecar remains one of my favorite spots.
