My Husband & I go here quite often for dinner. Mostly because of the great customer service and the bartenders are great and fun. The food is just typical average Tex-Mex (which I'm not a big fan of), but servings are large, food is always served very hot and quickly. Free chips & salsa and free jalapeno ranch dressing/dip if you ask for it. They have a few different salsas with varying spiciness and flavors. Pretty large menu and lots of parking. My favorite dish is the Green Chile Fried Chicken ($14.30), comes with rice & beans. SPECIAL ALERT: If you order it "server style" they put a fried egg on top of the chicken and it ROCKS! I didn't think I would like it since the fried chicken is crispy with Lays potato chips, but it did not make it soggy & it made the dish SO MUCH better! You're welcome!!! read more

My husband loves Chuy's and we eat here at least 1-2 x a month. My only complaint is about their mixed drinks. They are significantly more expensive than other restaurants. I like a margarita on the rocks. Theirs are significantly smaller than other restaurants and nothing but ice. I mean $10-14 for a drink that is mostly ice. I feel like I am being taken advantage of so have stopped ordering them. I hate this because I really love drinking a margarita with my mexican food. If it weren't for my husband i would be going somewhere else because of this. I am wondering if other people feel the same way. read more

If you like a consistent Tex Mex it is delicious. It is always clean inside. Last time I was there the service was a little slow but I believe they were shorthanded. So don't let that stop you. Great place for a family. The dishes are large and I have split dish up for children and trust me the servings are large. read more

My parents and I had a wonderful lunch yesterday at Chuy's in Little Rock. Barry was our server and he did an amazing job taking care of us. He brought a sample of the chile rice for me to try because I was hesitant about ordering it. He also brought a small sample of a sauce, too. Our drinks were constantly filled as was our chip basket. The chips were fresh and the salsa and cheese dip were tasty. I ordered cheese enchiladas and they were awful. The tortillas were hard and there was nothing in them. A little string of cheese that you couldn't event taste. They delivered our first order of cheese dip to the table next to us. They told us on the way out that they received our cheese dip order. The assistant manager came to speak to us and she talked so fast I don't even know what she said but no offer to correct the bad experience. Sad. I will not be going back. read more

First of all , let me state that the food is ALWAYS good which is why we order take out every single Friday night BUT the take out is always wrong! I mean ALWAYS wrong. Most of the time, we don't get the correct number of sauces but last Friday, I ordered a Chicken Burrito Bowl and I got a Steak Burrito Bowl. I guess that's a better mistake than the time I ordered a Chicken Burrito Bowl, brought it home and found out it had no chicken on it. Please please train your take out staff better. Ate here at happy hour yesterday and the drinks (lemonade margarita w/ Grey Goose) were excellent. The salsa with the chips was so fresh!! Some of the best salsa that I've ever experienced. I had two steak soft tacos. Steak could have been a little more tender. Our bar tender was very nice! She alone deserves a 10/10. All of the customer service was great! I'll definitely be back! Great food and drinks! I love their Cobb salad with creamy jalapeño dressing, nachos and shrimp tacos. Don't miss having the Texas Tini, New Mexican Martini or a margarita. The food and service at this location is significantly better than the North Little Rock location. Love this Mexican restaurant. Very fun environment/decor. We had a very friendly waitress. The tacos are basic American tacos. However the queso and margaritas are some of the best! Which lets be honest, that's the most important part of a Mexican restaurant. Also the only Mexican restaurant I know that offers fries as a side item. I can't express how grateful we are for the amazing manager KiKi helped us replace our venue for my dad's 60th surprise birthday party at the very last minute. We come from a family of restaurant owners and have high expectations when it comes to customer service. When I'm in Little Rock I know I can count on Chuys for a great meal. This place is great especially when the salsa bar is open. They have fresh tortillas being made in house that you can watch them being made. My go to meal here is the chicken n steak fajitas. There good as they can get!!! So!!! ... The second time's the charm in this case, and I've learned that you've kinda' gotta' know what you're doing to eat at Chuy's! Shouts out to Brent for inviting me back to turn my "meh" of a first experience into a "green light!" I returned with the hubs in tow, Brent and Myra took great care of us, and walked us through the menu and all things Chuy's. Much appreciated! The vibe and decor were a win, same as before, but my concern was solely the food. Brent suggested that we start with a rainbow plate, and I'm glad he did as when we sampled the various sauces, that was the moment I realized what went wrong on my first visit. I spotted the "meh" sauce out of the lineup, that could have been an easy substitution. Pro Tip: All sauces at Chuy's are not created equal and there are 2 sauces in particular that could guarantee a 1 star rating from me each and every day of the week, no matter what it's on! So, you need to know your Chuy's sauces and adjust the entrees as needed. But, first, you've got to know what you're dealing with! I like that Chuy's is super flexible with customization allowances! Upon my return, I realized that their food is good, darned good even! As far as the meats go, the rotisserie chicken is my favorite. Their steak is a close 2nd. All of the sauces besides the ranchero and that (God-awful) green sauce (I forgot the name as I tried to put it as far out of my mind as possible) were DELISH, but (again) each pack a different punch that will dramatically change your entree flavors depending on your selection. (You need to be educated!) The blackberry daiquiri and the flan are both delicious as well. The one thing that did give me pause on my return visit was the dilapidated state of the "happy hour (car) trunk" in the bar area. Albeit a super cute concept and wonderful means of getting bottomless chips, salsa, and queso (and who doesn't live for that?!)-- it needs TLC and (apparently) an adult chaperone! Honestly, it looked like it had been the victim of a food fight by the time I went over and tried to fix a bowl of queso. Broken chips were literally everywhere, items desperately needed to be replenished, and there where about 4-5 of the small green bowls left to be used by patrons (2 of which weren't dried properly.) It was truly bottom of the barrel type of action over there, thankfully Myra brought us warm chips and I just steered clear. All in all, I don't know how practical it is on a day to day basis, but -- If you've got a server that will literally hold your hand and guide you through the sauces and menu selections (like Myra did for us), also lets you sample and taste as needed (oh, and it's needed), and if you're lucky to be one of the first to visit the happy hour trunk when it's nice and fresh-- Man, you've got yourself a 5-star dining experience on your hands! I'm glad we came back as I know what I'm working with now, I also know who to ask for now, and I can truly dig it! read more

I love Chuys! Always consistent and friendly! We go allot when we are in town. The staff is always amazing and never disappointing.

My husband is 81 and I am 70 and we were carded tonight at this location. I had my id as I was driving and was paying for our dinner. They refused to serve my husband a drink. And told us if he sipped from my drink we would be asked to leave. The manager, Pat, was incredibly rude to us. I have NEVER been asked for my id in a restaurant before! read more

The extra star goes to my waitress Lachrista who was amazing. She always checked on us and had our drinks refilled before it was completely emptied, brought napkins, warm chips and etc. she was on top of it. On to the food: so so. I've had better Mexican food but for what it's worth and the price, I guess you get what you pay for. My taco platter was huge (I rather get quality vs quantity). The hard taco shells were stale so that was a big disappointment so I just used the chips to make nachos. The Mexican rice was so so. One of my child ate her cheese quesadilla & fries whereas the other one only took 1 bite. My guest has hard tacos too and the shell was stale as well. read more

Big plates of food that are too expensive and no healthy and fresh modern menu items with real flavor make this place an ABSOLUTE thumbs down! Their signature Salsa tastes incredibly cheap with cheap quality tomatoes; uninspired and entirely too hot. Chips are lukewarm to cold the entire time, and they keep piling more lukewarm/cold chips on your table via a tacky ice scoop. Will not visit a second time. Taco Bell tastes better with more flavor. Was so excited to come in for lunch as its the green chilli festival. I come every year, try the food and buy gren chillis. Today was told nope they are not selling roasted chillis to customers this year! I was so upset. I live an hour away and i buy them every year there was no notice this changed. So upset and disappointed. They were not apologetic or nothing just like whatever. Then took almost 38 minutes to get our food from order.
