My advice is "go somewhere else." Food took 40 mins to come out and was not good at all. My son's burger had a piece of plastic packaging cooked into it. We asked them to make him another burger but I was surprised a manager didn't stop by to address it at all. The tables all around us sat with dishes on them during our entire hour+ meal. The young lady we had struggled from the beginning to the end. - forgot one of our margaritas ( had to remind her after 15 minutes) - places food down with wrong ppl (there was only two of us and two dishes) - never came to check on us once our food was down. - asked her for a plate to make the fajitas on and she came back empty handed - 3/4 of our way done with our meal and both our mouths were on fire and out of water. We were in the area and looking for something for lunch. My companion said they wanted a burrito so I started listing all the places in the area that we could go. When I said Chuy's they said it sounded good as it had been a while since we had their food. The parking garage by this location was a new thing for me but it was fairly convenient. Upon entering we were greeted in a reasonable time and seated promptly. I took a few to peruse the menu to see what would be good this visit. My companion got the Chuyichanga which is their usual. Since I have never had one I decided to try it too. I asked which was the hottest sauce they had, and it was the Hatch Green Chili I got. We enjoyed some chips and salsa along with the jalapeno white sauce which was all excellent. I really like that they have the really thin chips. You just have to be careful scooping with them so they don't break. When our food arrived it looked fantastic and I forgot to get pictures. They let us know that the plates were really hot and that helps keep the food a good temperature while you eat. During the course of our meal our server came by to see how everything was and I made a verbal faux pa. I told them it was really good but that I like it 'hotter'. What I really meant was that I like it 'spicier'. They proceeded to go off to get the manager to apologize to us and reprimand the kitchen. Thankfully she came to talk to us first and I was able to divine the mistake and head them off from giving the kitchen a good talking to. We ended up having a long discussion about spicy food and some other topics. She did bring me some samples of some of the sauces so I could see if any of them were 'hotter' to my taste. I ended up putting a couple of them plus some of the salsa on my chimichanga and is was even better. I must say that we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and I felt they went above and beyond in making sure we were happy with everything. First time at a Chuy's in Florida. Did not disappoint. We enjoyed our lunch and had a really sweet waitress. She accidentally put me down for an enchilada instead of a relleno. It wasn't a big deal as they got my correct order out timely. She still offered us a card for a free queso because she felt I had to wait a long time for my correct order. This is a really neat area. Lots of interesting places to try but we wanted to try a chain we don't normally get to eat at that was casual. This place was super busy but they seated us right away. Chips and dip came out immediately. The red salsa is about medium spicy and heavy with an onion taste. The other standard sauce was a creamy jalapeño. It was very smooth and maybe a mild on the scale. The food was quickly prepared and brought out (our waitress was really hustling!). My little guy who is super picky ate most of his plate and they brought out chocolate ice cream which was included. My fajitas were good. They included a lot of bell peppers when most usually just include a heavy amount of onions. The tortillas were thicker than normal (think naan bread texture and thickness). The only thing that was just kind of ok was the rice. It was fluffy and thick but relatively dry. My wife loved it though. Large portions, great drinks, and very friendly and accommodating staff. Came in with a party of 4 adults and a baby on a Saturday night. The waiter seated us towards the back and made sure we had enough elbow room as we had a toddler that wasn't big enough for a booster seat yet. We ordered a side of queso and guac for the house chips that were delicious (devoured before I could get a picture). From the drink menu we had the King's Punch as well as a frozen watermelon margarita and some tequila shots. Both the Punch and frozen margarita were pretty strong, definitely not watered down. King's Punch was a bit sweeter than expected and the frozen watermelon was a bit more bitter. I had combination platter #5, that was a chicken chalupa and chicken enchilada. While the portion was large, the food was nothing out of this world. The chicken lacked flavor and the enchilada was dry. Thankfully, the tres leches dessert was just the sweet dessert we needed. A local advised we couldn't leave without trying it. Tres leches is a very sweet dessert, so with the large portion, it is definitely meant to be shared. The cherry on top for Chuy's was the memorabilia that was for sale at the front of the restaurant. Very cute and puny tshirts as well as caps, plus they happened to be on sale, so we couldn't resist. Good service, good food, good atmosphere! Headed here after hitting the nearby spin bar. We sat on the patio since nighttime is cool enough now, and they have fans! Our server was out in a couple of minutes to grab drinks. He let us know about the new white sangria, we both tried it and loved it! For food I had the taco salad, hubs had the #6. Both were made to order and tasted good. I opted to top my salad with the fajita steak. I think I'll do the chicken next go. The steak was just a touch chewy, but the flavor was great. Always a little skeptical of franchise food especially trying to find vegan options but Chuy's delivered a tasty vege fajita and avocado tacos that were delicious. Refried beans and rice were also excellent and vegan too. A lot of discussion in the reviews relative the fresh flour tortillas, I'm in the positive camp. Loved them. Solid Mexican place in town! Was visiting and my family recommended this place for some Mexican. I ordered the chicken fajitas for one. Delicious! I was given way to much chicken! This is my second time eating here. It really is very good. I seriously love their white salsa or whatever it is called. It is very delicious a must start with before your meal. It's a good thing that I can't buy it in stores or make it. That would be very dangerous . We were disappointed to find out when we went to order it that there was none. I guess the oven had broken down. Still feeling missed out about that. For those who like this sort of thing, it is the sort of thing they like. To be transparent, i'm not a chain restaurant guy, I'm not a noisy, sombrero-wearing drinking guy. I don't love crowded and more isn't better. However. I can't complain about a nacho bar. It's good--good crispy chips and evil chili con queso. If you like super American chain Tex Mex, it's good. My son and his girlfriend love it here and judging by the crowd, so do a lot of other people. Me? The fresh pulled white meat chicken with green chilies, cilantro and cheese is my favorite dish. My husband ordered the Relleno & Enchilada. Once you are seated they bring you homemade chips which are delish! And I LOVE their Jalapeno Ranch sauce! The dishes vary from "traditional" types (tacos/ burritos ect.) to more creative dishes. The frozen house margarita and fresh, crunchy chips should start you off, but sub the salsa for the cool jalapeño for the chips and dip equivalent of crack. Next, move on to the enchiladas. I am a HUGE fan of their stacked enchiladas or their pulled chicken (so juicy and tender and flavorful) but have also heard the chicka chicka boom boom is out of this world. If you are feeling bold, skip the enchiladas and get the fajitas. Tender steak, moist chicken marinated in Shiner Bock, with rice, beans, HANDMADE tortillas and a smattering of sides--it is truly a delight! Now, the service is good and the patio is enjoyable (a little loud though, it's right on 17-92) but the food really is incomparable and the prices right, especially because you can usually have leftovers. I'm not a constant customer of Chuy's and this experience was not much of a supporting experience to want to return. The staff was having a bad day. The table was not fully cleaned and the floor was dirty too. The waiter was nice, but you could tell that they were off center. We ordered some chips, salsa, guacamole and queso. It took a long time to come out even though the place was fairly empty. I did not like the queso. Please stop putting taco seasoning in your queso! The chips were salty. Mega salty. So much that we were using our napkins to wipe off the excess. The dips have enough salt. We don't need any more. We gave our main orders and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. We went through so many chips that we were full by the time the order came out. The meal was OK, but it wasn't anything great. I think that I've had some Stouffer's frozen meals that were just as good or better. Overall we weren't pleased with the experience. I don't ever want to go back.
