I really like Dr Zavala but after spending $1800 for lip fillers there was no change. I was told I need to lift my lip but I don't think I should be charged full price to do this. Honestly, I didn't get my procedure done here. I walked in and it was clearly a plastic surgery mill. It looks beautiful inside, but they shuffle so many people through that I was uncomfortable. There wasn't a room available for my consultation, so I was put in some sort of procedure room for a brief moment, then the girl that put me there had someone talking into her headset telling her that an appropriate room was available, but when we got there, the room was dirty. The price was less than the other two surgeons that I talked to, but there was no anesthesia . . . . for a breast reduction. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Generally, the staff was friendly from the moment I walked in until I left - including the financial counselor people that you end your visit with. BUT - ultimately I chose somewhere else that I didn't feel like a number standing in like to have plastic surgery. I chose somewhere that looked at me as a whole person with a physical problem that I wanted corrected. Choose wisely - surgery is a big deal. read more

This is my review from my consultation until now (my 3 month post op) I initially had my breast argumentation consultation at the new Scottsdale location back in July with Dr. Zavala. My reaction walking into Ciao Bella was nothing short of awe. The office was just beautifully done! I was greeted by the receptionist with a welcoming smile and a short sweet conversation going over what my appointment was going to consist of. From the pictures to meeting Dr. Zavala I felt right at home! He was very knowledgeable and went in depth on my options with the different implants I could do and the results each one would give me. His high end camera technology gave me a full visual of what my breasts looked like at the time and what they would ideally look like with the CC's I would be putting in. I felt like I was in the best hands and immediately went forward with signing papers to schedule my pre op for my surgery. Rosey, the Manager of Ciao Bella was just phenomenal and made dealing with finances, paperwork etc. such a breeze!! Every appointment after my consultation she has gone out of her way to welcome me with a hug and chat with me about how my results have been plus just short life topics. All of the front office girls have always been nothing short of sweet from phone calls to greetings each time I go to my appointments! The day of my actual surgery I was very nervous since it was my first surgery EVER and the medical assistants made my anxiety disappear with their comforting words and standing by my side up until I was taken into the OR room. Surgery was done for what felt like 10 minutes and I was out of there bandaged up a couple hours later. My healing was quick and my pain was as it is to be expected for a breast augmentation. I have been researching my procedure for an entire year before I finally decided to visit Dr. Zavala's office in Chandler. Although I live in N. Scottsdale when I did some research on Ciao Bella, I noticed they just opened a new facility in N. Scottsdale off Hayden which as 10 mins away from my home. The entire staff at Ciao Bella welcomed me as if I was family. I felt so comfortable and when I met Dr. Zavala, I knew he was the surgeon to perform my surgeries. I had a BBL and also had my implant exchange from saline to Silicone. The procedure was done at their new facility in Scottsdale which is brand new and beautiful. The communication between Dr. Zavala and I had made me feel as though I was talking to a friend. He answered all of the questions I had as well as giving me his advice on my procedures. Needless to say I walked out of the office very pleased and excited to get my procedures done. I had my surgeries done on November 14th 2017 and I can't be more thankful for Dr. Zavala and how he has changed how my body looks today. Thank You Dr. Zavala and Staff! After meeting Dr. Zavala and Rosie his coordinator I would say don't base your opinions on some reviews that might just be fake I had recently had a breast augmentation with a lift in Newport Beach California I was horrified at what others doctors said about my boobs and what I now saw in the mirror based on their opinions. Dr. Zavala, and I wouldn't write this unless I meant it, Was extremely nice as well as Rosie. In about 10 minutes he paid so close attention he had the measurements down what exactly was slightly off about my boobs but encouraged me that my boobs were eight out of 10 that whatever these doctors said he wasn't sure why but either way said he wouldn't do a thing so he didn't try to sell me on any more surgeries he said if I wanted to be a 10 ,which he wouldn't recommend, he could do that for me.I can honestly say I've been to quite a few plastic surgeons and I just had such a good vibe off of him he really does seem to care and Rosie she was so nice I had to call her and thank her afterward even though they didn't do anything for me but see me and consult me she was so happy that I felt better when I left because she remembered my first conversation with her how sad depressed I was and she wanted me to feel better and she was so happy that it all looks good she even walked in when I was talking to the doctor and told me her thoughts on my boobs and how good I actually looked. Hopefully somebody reads through this whole review. Be wary of negative reviews.There's a lot of competition out there and people will do pretty sketchy things to make a doctor look bad. Dr. Zavala is very personable, professional and courteous to his patient. I love the results I am seeing, and I am just about 1 month post op. My incision site is healing very well, and is very thin. I have already dropped 4 dress sizes. Additionally, the nurses are very prompt and responsive when you have questions regarding healing. As soon as my husband and I walked in we were treated with great respect. Dr. Zavala explained the procedure I would undertake with great expertise and depth. He even brought Dr. Levine in who is a board certified in plastic surgery to make me feel more at ease and confident and was asked if I would rather him do it which I thought was very professional of him. They both Allowed me And my husband to Give them questions and they both answered thoroughly. However when I Mentioned my chronic cough Both doctors looked at each other and had some skepticism but they did tell me the truth that it would be more painful and I would have to do a little bit more after surgery but because of time I felt I was done with the consultation. Moving forward I went to see the finance lady Rosie and I explained my chronic cough more in detail and without hesitation (she made me feel super safe)and said that her professional opinion Is that I recommend that you do NOT do this. I was shocked but at the same time so appreciative and thankful for opening my eyes to what could've been a painful future for me and my family. Therefore I did not go through any surgery but I am Highly recommending them for their ethics, integrity and all the results of other patients I saw when I was at their office.
