This was hands down (see what I did there) the WORST experience getting a fill. I needed two nails fixed and a fill. Ripping off my broken nail off was brutal and painful, I repeatedly asked to soak or drill the nail off. After the lumpy acrylic was applied- my nails were filed crooked. I said my nails are crooked & was gaslit- "your nail grow crooked". No, you are only filing on one side- you are making it crooked. I have a hair embedded in the acrylic of one nail- GROSS! I asked for almond with French tips and I came out with cat claws and nothing like what I asked for. i then when to a different solan and they said what Cici did to my nails was horrible. Horrible experience. Went in for a fill and a repair on one nail. Changing the shape of my acrylics a bit, going from square to almond. Had a pic. They look NOTHING like what I requested. The lady was so aggressive. She burnt my cuticles with the drill thingy. I had to pull my hand away numerous times to tell her she was hurting me. Went up to pay, should have been $30. She said $45. Asked how much I wanted to put on my card total, I told her $50. She was so rude about it. Once I signed the receipt she took it and walked away. I walked out. I don't normally leave reviews, but I'm hoping to help others as this was a terrible experience. Upon walking in it reeks of a strong bleach chemical smell that never went away. One technician was open mouth sneezing without covering her mouth multiple times. We waited in the foot basin a long time with little communication while our feet wrinkled up. When she started she didn't ask me what type of pedicure I wanted and just proceeded with the basic that took 10 min max. But the worst is when my technician started cutting my toes and ripped the side of my toe nail all the way down, causing a lot of pain and redness. I called and scheduled an appointment because of the fact that they're always busy and I have a busy schedule myself and I called ahead the day before to schedule. I go in about 10 minutes before my appointment time and I'm told I have to wait 30 minutes because they're already working on somebody and I have to wait. Why schedule an appointment if you're not going to stick to the appointment time I don't really understand that but pretty frustrated and pretty upset so if you're ever looking to work around your own schedule and schedule an appointment, I highly recommend you not go here because of the fact that they will not have you down and they will not see you at the time that you're scheduled for because they'd rather take a walk in and have you wait than stick to their scheduled appointment read more

I won't be going back. The main element that created a negative experience was the rudeness of my nail tech. I could have dealt with a less than desired finished product or even the unmannerly way in which they asked for a tip if the gal who did my nails had been polite. I had a very hard time communicating with her, but I was able to smile and remain kind and she was not. I even had a picture of the exact nail outcome I wanted, but it was still a challenge communicating throughout the process. I ended up with nails that are SO WEIRD AND THICK! I make an appointment to their suggested availability, yet when I get there, on time, the technician I requested is beginning work on a walk in client! If your having a pedi, they'll get you soaking...and there you sit, water getting cold, trapped! Or they seat you at a station where nobody has any intention on doing anything for you, just getting you out of the way. The staff visits a lot among themselves, often getting quite loud. It's not a relaxing "spa" atmosphere at all. When I'm spending increasing amounts of money for a "me day", I'll like it to be a plesant relaxing experience. Cici's is not! I came to have a pedicure with my mom and sister and the staff was very rude. While picking the polish out one lady just stood next to me rushing me to pick one. Then they sat us all very far apart and the lady rushed the whole time she even got paint on the skin around my nails. When she was done she rushed me outside even though no new customers had came in giving them no time to dry. My nails were messed up immediately after and the staff did not care. My mom ended up alone in the salon while the lady working on her nails kept telling her to relax in a rude manor while my mom sat completely still. I do not recommend going here. read more

I am new to the Tri cities, just moved here from Philadelphia. I was looking for a nail salon and I found Cici's nails and gave it a whirl. First, they greeted me immediately and it was notable right away that it's a clean and hygienic place. I went with the deluxe mani pedi and was pleased with the callous removing portion, which others noted is like a big cheese grater, but it worked. The massage was good, and they began working on my nails while I was getting my pedicure which saved time. I am giving 4 stars, because I don't know how much I like the brand of gel polish they carry. Seems a little less thick and less coverage than the brand i am used to. LINERS! *insert prayer hands emoji here* They are very clean and they use disposable liners for every single pedicure! The entire salon is clean, open, and well ventilated. It's a breath of fresh air when it comes to nails salons. They do get busy, so try to come during a slower time or expect to wait a bit. Mani/Pedi was great both times & my gel stayed on about 2 weeks. Nice selection of pedi/mani services without any pressure or up-sell. I enjoyed the extra scrub and longer massage very much! This is my second time going to Cici's & Cici doing my gel mani. The first time I got them done they didn't even last a week before chipping. This time it only lasted 2 days! Besides them talking so loud amongst themselves making it seem awkward & you feel like their talking about you, I want to relax they make it sooo loud they yell to each other across the salon. (I don't mind them speaking a different language)My mani wasn't worth the time, energy or money. I think I will have to keep looking for a place to get my gel manis because this place & a prior place I was going too weren't great. I assume the polish was old or idk what went wrong I've never had a gel mani chip in so little time in the past 3 years that I've been getting manis. Totally disappointed. First time going here to get a full set of gel nails here and I don't think I'll be going back. The lady doing my nails did not have the best customer service to say the least. I don't mind the employees talking in their language but I could definitely tell by the tone and body language that they were talking about me and the other customers. When I picked the gel color they told me that it would be too light for my nails so she recommended a color that had a bubble gum pink packaging. When I questioned the color, she just interrupted me and said she knew what she was doing. She was very demanding and rough with my hands.
