Who is C.C. Pazzini? That's the million dollar question. I love coming south because there are a few places that I don't have in the Northeast. One of those places is Cicis. Plenty of parking at this location. The inside definitely needs an upgrade or paint job. They have a huge selection of pizzas they keep switching in and out. I have requested a specific pizza before and they have made it. They akk ok do have breadsticks, salads, pasta, etc. This is not five star gourmet pizza. If you're expecting that, fughetta boutit. If it's made fresh it is good. It is what it is, cheap buffet pizza. Although the price has gone up with inflation, it's still a great deal. The last couple of times we went to Cici's there weren't many customers in the joint ... and I suppose for that reason they didn't feel the need to put fresh pizza on the counter ... so they combined what pizza they did have into a couple of trays ... and that was it ... even though we paid full price for the buffet ... no problem, we won't be back ... what a shame that corporate or local management allowed Cici's to fall to such level of worthlessness ... read more

This place, like so many others, has gone downhill since the start of the pandemic. The pizza is lacking in sauce, toppings and overall flavor. Also, it was extremely messy at the food counter and looked as though it hadn't been cleaned all day. It wasn't horrible but I can't reccomend coming here unless things change. read more

I went here today with my daughter, niece, and two grandsons who are 8 and 4 . I wasn't hungry but the rest of my party was my youngest grandson loves pizza so cicis it was. My daughter pays for herself and the 2 boys and we proceeded to try to find a clean empty table which was not easy. The drinks had been filled and my youngest grandson had his pizza when the manager came over to tell me that since I had not paid to eat, I had to wait outside. Well needless to say we decided to leave and for them to get their money back . All of us were pretty upset I am 55 years old and have never been asked to leave a restaurant because I wasn't eating. There was minimal pizza to choose from no sauce for the pasta and the place was a mess. When I asked why I couldn't just sit with my family while they ate she had no answer for me . Went here on a trip. The pizza was... not good. $11 for all-you-can-eat pizza is a bargain, but afterwards I had a disgusting aftertaste and mouth sores that have remained for 7+ hours. Place was super unclean, and they were blasting horrible country music. Most of their 4 arcade machines were out of order. You have to pay for water from the drink fountain now. And no cups of water are allowed in from outside. In a country where water is ample, this just should not be! The policy WAS that there were separate plastic cups for water. BUT people were stealing from the machine, pouring soda or tea into the courtesy cups meant only for water. The NEW policy says that you PAY for all drinks and you may not bring your own water. Tell me, why can we not enforce the original policy by ejecting a person that is stealing from the soda machine? But instead, we create a new, poor policy? We left the restaurant, disappointed to miss eating at CiCi's, which we enjoyed in the past. I suggest that you, CiCi's, reinstate the original policy and enforce it if you are losing that much income from thieves. We have always enjoyed the food and price at CiCi's. I cannot swallow food easily without water, so being forced to buy ANY drink when I eat at CiCi's is a deal breaker. I am disappointed and I hope that CiCi's finds a way to enforce the original policy so that I can eat there again and recommend them to friends. read more

Overall, what can you aspect, it's CICIs right? The food here is below average, but that's what you're paying for. For a 7 dollar buffet, and this deal is beyond the grasp of the human realm. It exceeds mortal consciousness how they can profit with a buffet this cheap; however, this is where the pizza dilemma comes in. If you consider the average amount of food someone eats at a buffet, it would be around the same price to just order a large pizza from dominos or another chain pizza joint. Nearly every booth has tears in it, tables aren't cleaned quickly, bathrooms and floors are dirty, the salad bar is always a mess. Usually, they only have the basic pizzas out (cheese, pepperoni & several thick crusted basics to likely fill everyone up quickly). If you want anything good (bbq,zesty ham,buffalo) you have to ask and they are usually snotty about it and typically the pizzas look sloppy and they toss as little meat on them as possible. read more

I'm surprised that this place hasn't closed down yet because of how bad it was. I went today and my god. I've never seen a place so bad looking from no employees cleaning up the place. When I came in, I had a large group with me for a field trip and all the tables were dirty and they looked like they were forced to clean the tables because we were such a large group. When a girl went into the bathroom, she couldn't be in there more than she had to. The smell in there was putrid and stall two should've been closed for what was in it. The floors were too slippery and one girl fell because of it. Pizza tasted like cardboard and they ran out of stuff like ice, plates, and silverware. Long story short: I'm never coming back no matter if someone bribes me. There are many other places around to go that are MUCH better and you can get more for your money. read more

Today at cicis we had an experience I must talk about. The man pulling out the pizzas called out "cheese pizza!" In a commanding way and someone in our group started laughing. After that, he stopped calling it out and we all felt bad. "He's the conductor on this pizza train and he will be respected." Following that incident, some customers started being mean to him about not understanding which pizza they were asking for. It was not called for. The one thing I will mention about the food is that there was one kid grabbing the brownies full on with their hands. "She's like a coal miner on commission". We also were introduced to the coolest child in the world. A small boy with a camo hat, an America shirt tucked into his jeans with a large belt buckle which were tucked into his cowboy boots. He accidentally walked into the girls bathroom as I was leaving. This was a good overall experience, although there was a lingering feeling as if it were about five minutes away from post-collapse of the Soviet Union. PS: please clean the war-like bathrooms. Why 1 star? You wouldn't ask if you've been there. Like someone else said in another review, although the staff is pleasant, the food is not. The price for an adult buffet is a little less than $5 ($4 something) and a drink is about $2 extra. So when you think about it, the price is attractive for college students, large families, or those simply wanting to have a cheap meal. Now if you would look at the quality of food being served, well, that's something entirely different. I tried the pasta first. Pasta tasted and felt like it wasn't properly cooked (fully). The sauces were as watery as possible as the pasta didn't absorb any of the sauce and it seemed to just drip down to the bottom of the bowl. I know 8 year olds who can make a better sauce and pasta. Next, the pizza. I do have to say that their pizza is edible. That is about the only positive thing to say about it. Unfortunately, we are no longer in grade/elementary school. As a plus, there were quite a bit of selections to pick from. Would I come to CiCi's Pizza again? More than likely not. Only way I would come back is if I'm desperate for cheap pizza and really, really, really hungry. Don't see that happening anytime soon! read more

Wow, just wow. This was my first visit to the Harrisonburg location, and lets just say I will be coming back for more. I went during the less busy hours (1:30) or so, but the pizza was still fresh and plentiful. The staff even asked if I wanted something special made. After about ten minutes there, a huge group of people came in. The manager immediately came out and helped out his front line staff. They began throwing a large amount of pizzas in to maintain the line. I was very impressed by how quick the manager acted and how professional the staff was. Very clean and the bus boy was quick to remove my empty plates. I noticed other reviewers complain about the pizza. Its under $10 for unlimited pizza and soda. Is it New York quality? No, but it is some damn good pizza and its hard to beat dipping it in their marinara sauce. Overall: Professional staff, budget friendly, good pizza! read more

I had a delivery next door at the Martin's so I decided to stop here for lunch. The first thing I noticed was the salad bar wasn't up to par, there is no cheese and a tomato we're not ripe. The Pizza is mediocre, the bathroom is a definite no go. The moist floors in the bathroom were definitely not helping their case. The sticky floor reminds me of a Chucky Cheese or Children's daycare. Came in Saturday the 30th at about 2....place wasn't busy (only 2 tables eating) there was however NOWHERE to sit. Every table was covered in food, old plates of food, ect. Dusted crumbs off the least disgusting table I could find and sat down to eat with my 3 children. The place was swarming with flies so in between bites you had to cover your food with napkins and keep drinks covered while going to get more food. I assumed they had just finished a lunch rush and someone would be out to clean eventually...but no... In the almost hour and a half I was there no one came out and cleaned or even swept up all the food ( which was enough to feed a small army)that was on the floor sticking in your shoes while you were walking. The manager and another employee however had time to clear themselves a table and eat while ignoring the mess around them. It cost me about $30 to eat here with a 5-year old 6 -year old and 10 year old, which is way more than I expected for cheap pizza and watery sauce that's not good enough to put on pasta. read more
