We came on a weekday at lunch. Really slow but it gives you the opportunity to have tons of options without waiting to replace. My daughter had a nat in her drink which apparently they have been dealing with, but they replaced her cup and cleaned the area as a just in case, but other than that it's clean. Bathrooms were clean but the aroma was a bit stong with chemicals. The only two issues was the nat in my daughter's drink and the religious music they had on. Cici's does what it does reasonably well. Cheap pizza worth what you pay for it in a family friendly environment. Fine dining it is not- Italian cuisine, it is not. Expect frozen Tombstone pizza heated at home and you get the idea. I usually tend to steer clear of places, other than fast food joints, that make you pay in advance, which is what Cici's does. Walk in the door and shell out the cash. While it is supposed to be about $6.00 a person, two of us paid $18.00 and change, including a couple of cokes. The buffet is laid out along one side of the place with tables and booths on the other four fifths of the floor. There is an unimpressive "game room" in the rear. In my estimation, any place that offers pizza should offer beer, but not here. Soft drinks only, and you serve yourself. You get an empty cup when you pay. Take your tray and go down the line and select the pizza slices of your choice. For a snowy wintry Wednesday, I was surprised at the number of customers. They are mainly working class families with little kids, probably more interested in the price tag than in the fine quality of pizza. There is a salad bar, with the bare essentials- nothing special. There were about ten different kinds of pizza, but the one that amazed me the most was the "mac and cheese" pizza. It included the curly macaroni that also appeared in other forms on the buffet, in chicken soup, and in bowls with "red" sauce and a "white" sauce that reappeared as the topping of the "Alfredo" pizza. There was also a "Buffalo wings" pizza- not much pizza but a lot of sauce. The best one was a thicker crust pizza with pepperoni and sausage, altho the spinach "Florentine" pizza was not bad. . The staff was diligent about keeping the pizza coming, and making sure it was staying hot. Dessert was innovative, but not in a successful way. Cinnamon-apple sugary pizza was passable, but the "brownies" were underdone- limp as a dishrag and very doughy. The cinnamon "knot" buns were OK. All in all, Cici's was the sort of place you like to go with your toddlers on a weeknight. (The management seemed content to allow the little darlings to run about and be "oh-so-cute".) An out-of-town high school age sports team was a bit boisterous, as well, as their adult handlers looked on smiling and took photos. Parking is easy in the private lot. The place is a bit hard to find unless you are familiar with the area. I hate to sound like a pizza snob, but for my money, I'd rather go to a real Italian place like Vinny's or Monte Carlo for pizza- a bit more expensive, but an order of magnitude better as to quality and ambiance. (Cici's is one of those franchises that make you imagine there's a black three-ring binder in the office outlining EVERY situation and setting out the protocol, right down to the temperature of the garbanzo beans in the salad bar. not much room for creativity. ) I probably wont be back. As we walked out into the snow, we saw Wasabi, a bit down the road and promised ourselves to ge there next time. read more

The only pull for CiCi's is the price. The pizza is simply what you would expect for the price. They used to have two things that kept me coming back. Cheesy bread, and alfredo sauce for the pasta. It's hard to rate this place because it is made for a certain demographic and that demographic differs than mine, but I found myself here anyway. If I had a family and was watching my spending I think I would eat here every night. I think the all you can eat buffet for kids is something like $2.99. For adults it was something like $6.00. So what this is is very mediocre pizza and other mediocre accoutrements like mac and cheese, chicken noodle soup, pasta and pasta salad. I love how the noodles in all of the items I just mentioned are the same. This place is kind of like taco bell in that there are a few ingredients that they just reinvent into different items. Like the desert pizza or the garlic bread all made with the same dough. The service was very friendly and efficient but eating out of plastic bowls brought me back to my days at the college dorm. Go here if you are on a budget and if you don't mind eating iceberg lettuce. I understand why this chain has been so successful and glad I tried it even though it is not my thing. read more

While I have eaten here before and never been truly impressed, I will no longer set foot in this particular CiCi's pizza. My son attends a local middle school in the area and is in the Intellectual Disabilities class. His teachers provide opportunities for these students to go out in the public and interact in real life, everyday situations. For an upcoming field trip, his teacher called this particular restaurant and asked if they provided discounts for students. She was told that discounts were only provided for groups over 30 students. When she tried to explain the nature of this class (and that the numerous adults chaperoning would pay full price for their meal) she was told that CiCi's would not work with her and that these students would not receive a discount. The price of the meal is not a tremendous hardship to the parents of these special children. The point is that the manager, even after being told the nature of this class, would not work with her at all. This class is also going to the new Jump location located close by (which has special needs jumps on certain days - hence why this class is attending) and eating at a location close by would be ideal (especially given the nature of the transportation department of this school system). I am frustrated and livid that this manager refuses to work with these teachers of these special children, who are among the most precious of our society. I am posting this here and will share elsewhere as well. This location will no longer receive the business of me, my family, and many of my friends who feel the same way that I do. read more

Upon entering, my company for the afternoon and I were welcomed by a stunning cashier who was professional and relaxed.
