I want to point out that this is a special four stars in a band amongst other Cicis'. It's not a place that'll go toe to toe with a local pizza parlor, but when compared with other Cicis', it does alright. Not great, but not bad either. Just slightly above the average Cicis. Tonight, I went to Cici's Pizza with twenty friends to relax after doing a great amount of studying. I don't eat pizza, pasta or salad because of food allergies, which could land me in a hospital. Tonight, I was walking inside the restaurant because friends were in there already eating now. I just wanted to see how long they were going to be inside restaurant and another personal matter. Cashier B told me in a rude voice that I had to pay for a buffet. I tried explaining to her that I can't eat pizza because of food allergies but was willing to pay for dessert and soda. Deborah, the rude manager, came over to the area and got very rude and smart with me the whole time. Yes, I did raise my voice after being scolded about not paying for food for about five minutes. Deborah told me that she could refuse to take my money but she had a nasty attitude the whole time. I thought talking just like her would get her to realize that I'm a paying customer and she doesn't need to treat other individuals with disrespect. Another friend told me at the table Deborah was very rude towards her after she asked one of the employee's if we could move a table closer to the other one. Usually I try not to write negative reviews, but this location of Cici's pizza is the worst I have ever experienced. Granted, it's cici's, I am not expecting artisan pizzas. This location refuses to except credit cards, and when I attempted to dine here for lunch this weekend, I was told that I would have to pay for my wife to sit with me. She had already had lunch, and I just wanted a quick bite to eat. The hostess/ cashier treated me like I was walking in with 12 kids and asked for three buffets. If that had been the case, I could understand their position, but when two adults walk in? This will be the last visit to this location ever, and I suggest that no one ever go there. I have had several discussions with the owner about their rude staff, and she has had no response to my concerns. Also, a friend says that whenever he comes, they make a jalapeno and sausage thin crust pizza for the buffet because they noticed he always requested it for the buffet. That's pretty good service. Also, it is a really cheap all you can eat joint. The pizza is good, though not great, and the buffet could be unhealthy for you unless you fill yourself with their salad. I actually liked this location until the last two visits. You are getting pizza crust, not a piece of pizza. If you scrape off the top, there is maybe a teaspoon of toppings and little or no cheese or sauce. You might be able to get a half way decent slice once you scrape 4 or 5 slices to make one slice. The customers are rude, they jump the line. Today's visit, the ranch dressing was out and when it was brought to the attention of the employee I was told to use the other container, which was also empty. They had no forks out and I was directed to another station and that was also out of forks and when they did bring some, they put maybe 10 in the container. One trip back to the bar, there were no plates and there was no ice. I will not return to this location, I'll give the Bartlett location a try to see if there are actually serving pizza and not just crust. read more

Nada wrong here. It's buffet style and there is a senior deal. Which we use. Yep, at certain times, plenty of kids and noise. Pizza can be scarce, esp. the good ones. Other times, it is just there for the taking and quite. I have gone to this one and the one in Bartlett. The one in Bartlett had that credit card scam a few months back but that is taken care of now. I was one that got their card ID thief'ed, even a false charge which card company (USAA) nipped in the bud very fast. For a visit a few times a month, it's great. Beware, this one at the Plaza often has bus loads of kids at certain times come in. It can get stressful. read more

Wish I could give zero stars to all locations. Went to the one in Cordova, paid for the food and drinks. Sat down and started over to the drink fountain. The floors were beyond filth. The drink area was disgusting. Flies were all around the area. We even had to wipe the table before sitting. When i went to get food off buffet, the handles for the serving tongs felt really sticky and just filthy. My breaking point was when i got a a hint of a mold odor back near the game area. I was so disgusted by what I saw I told my family to get up and let's go. Got them in the car and went back in to request refund. Was willing to pay for the drinks we poured and the one bite my son ate but nothing more. I noticed the health score was at 89. I told the manager it was disgusting in there. I felt very sorry for the customers coming in there. She did give me a FULL refund and apologized. I suggest some serious cleaning and upkeep gets implemented.
