Who doesn't love pizza?!?! I haven't eaten at CiCi's pizza in years and it was as good as I remembered. I walked in and immediately greeted by three staff members. I was impressed with the 99 health rating, fresh looking salad and pizza. Yes I always glance through a restaurant beforehand I am just picky like that and don't want food poisening!!!! The restaurant could use renovations or a deep cleaning but the pizza was hot and fresh and the kitchen area was clean. I ordered the $5.99 buffet for two with drinks. The buffet included make your own salad, soup of the day, pasta, a variety of pizza such as; Spinach Alfredo, Grill'd Cheese, Buffalo Chicken, Meat Lovers, Bacon and Chicken Flatbread, etc., and desserts. This location also has a small game room, large dining area, and televisions for kid friendly programming. The staff was friendly and made sure the buffet stayed stocked, fresh, and clean. Also, no server is available so you have to bust your own table. It is a great place that will feed an entire family or large group without breaking the bank. Just left the Cici's location in Prattville. I understand most reviews are just complaint forums, but I want to offer some suggestions along with criticism. Seating: far too many tables squeezed into the spaces. Not only is it tight seating, it's difficult to walk. (Take a few out and make it more comfortable. Bathroom: dead roaches on floor of men's room. (At least they were dead) Dining area: Food on the floor. Understandably, people drop things, but watching the same food sit in the same place the entire 40 minutes I'm there seems out of reason. Buffet: Slow. Couldn't keep up with lines and yet front counter was steadily ringing up more. From my observation it appeared the cook staff was more focused on specialty orders than the main buffet. Wildly inefficient. (Stick to what you know and do it well.) Probably not going back to this location unless I hear of a management change. This location used to be very dependable, clean, and produced good food. I cannot make that claim anymore. read more

First time eating at this location. Pizza, salad, and pasta were good and delicious. Reasonable price. However, the location was very messy. Silverware, spills, and trash located throughout the place on the floor near the soda station, tables, and restrooms. I had to watch where I was walking. The price wasn't bad but it was filthy! I asked one of the workers a question about the pizza and she wouldn't even speak she just pointed to the sign. One gentleman cleaned off a table and dropped a fork on the floor and didn't even come back to pick it up. My fiancé and I watched 5 other employees walk right past it looking dead at it! If you are looking for gourmet pizza, you should probably go somewhere. If you come here looking for decent pizza at a cheap price, welcome to CiCi's! For the price you pay, the pizza is surprisingly not bad at all. There were multiple different types of pizza out and each was pretty good for the price. The brownies and cinnamon rolls though are probably the best thing here. The employees themselves here were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately despite coming at 3:40 in the afternoon, the restaurant was packed with a bunch of people for whatever reason, with little kids walking all around the restaurant and overtaking the arcade area. So basically, if you only want to spend $8 on pizza, you will be more than satisfied. And it is by far LEAGUES better than Chuck E. Cheese so that as well. read more

I brought my daughter and her friends to celebrate the fact that they made the high school theater guild. We came in there this evening as we walked in at 7:30 the music was turned off when I paid I was overcharged when we went to the bar there was nothing but cheese pizza when we requested pizzas they refused to make it when we asked for breadsticks they refused to make it. They said that the prepper had called in, my daughters attempted to play the games the machines wouldn't work they did get a rubber duck I again asked for extra specialty pizza and they refused to make it. They told the table next to us to order pizzas. I complained that there was only cheese pizza there after spending $80 she refused to make any more pizzas. I took photos and I took video, she was taking pictures of us eating. WATCH THE SECURITY CAMERA She took photos as I left Finally there was a veggie pizza put on the bar but he walked around with it even taking it to the front counter. I couldn't see the whole situation was really shady. I asked for ranch dressing I asked for ranch dressing they didn't comply with anything, they ruined a celebration dinner at a spot that we've always love to go to. There was no excuse for this behavior. They refused to give me a receipt. I called another cc pizza to get the price quoted I was overcharged the food was cold There was no music. It was not fun. The place was empty. The people were rude was absolutely disappointing. There was no reason to be treated this way when you take five kids out to celebrate an achievement and accomplishment that those girls had worked so hard for all year. They were so excited to make the local high school guild and it's a big deal. All they wanted was a celebration and this establishment ruined it. For quick and cheap pizza it can't be beat. We got there before the crowd today and it was nice being asked if I had any particular pizza I'd like put out. The staff was attentive and did the whole 'Welcome to Cicis!' when we walked in and said to come back again as we left, like they always do. Our local Cici's closed about 4 years ago. It was oue favorite spot to go when we wanted cheap, but decent food. Anytime we travel, I always try to scope out the area for a Cici's. We stopped here on our way thru to Pensacola, Florida. I had a buy one get one free coupon that I printed from their website before we left town. They honored it, no questions asked. My husband and I were able to dine for about $10; this included sodas. We arrived right as the church lunch rush was ending on a Sunday afternoon. Fresh, hot pizzas were on the bar, and they were taking custom orders/requests as well. Absolutely no complaints on the food or service. My only suggestion would be to ditch the plastic silverware and go back to real knives and forks. It's just way too difficult to cut through a thick crust with flimsy plasticware. read more

Front desk was very nice and very polite and made conversation which made my day. I did however hear and see the general manager yelling at one of the staff for no reason. The manager sent someone over to us and asked is when we were leaving when there was plenty of other tables. The young lady at the front desk was extremely sweet and helpful, but that's the only good thing. The buffet crashed several times and the General Manager was extremely rude. She kicked us out and threatened to call the cops on us if we didn't leave. We still had food on our plates and were minding our on business. The saddest part is, I'm a former employee and she was also mean and rude to me while I still worked there. I've eaten at CiCi's of Prattville several times, and have had a reasonably good experience each time. Mind you, as much as I love pizza, I'm not a connoisseur. So a pizza purist, used to "authentic" pizza, might not enjoy CiCi's as much as I. But for a fast-food pizza joint, CiCi's of Prattville does a pretty good job: The staff is friendly enough, frequently asking if there's a type of pizza I want that's not presently on the counter--and there are certainly quite a few types to select from. I find it reasonably priced, assuming you don't order a drink (like many restaurants --Costco's food court being a notable exception-- CiCi's profit margins are significantly higher for drinks). They also play Christian pop music in the background, and not just on Sundays--a minor touch, but one I appreciate. Now I have not tried their take-out pizza, nor their salad buffet. But I always look forward to their apple desert pizza and cinnamon-rolls at the end of my meal. [Edit: As of late 2017, I'm not seeing the apple desert pizzas any more, which means they only have one really good desert, and none that are particularly unique]. For those who are interested, there are a few arcade machines in the back, but I haven't tried them, nor do I see many people playing them. The noise at busy times can be a little high. But you have to expect that for a place that caters to families with children. (I'm reminded of how a pizzeria-shop proprietor had a slogan, "We offer pizza and quiet." Well, CiCi's offers the pizza, just not the quiet. Though when I recently visited at about 3 p.m. on a Friday, the noise wasn't bad). I am President of a High School Band Boosters group and I have worked with many restaurants to bring our 100+ students to different places over the years - and must say the staff at this Cici's was one of the best with which I've ever worked. They were ready with tables & food when we got there and kept the food coming quickly until everyone had their fill. They went above and beyond to help us out and were all very friendly too! The pizza is great for a buffet. We have been here many times and each time we are not disappointed. I dropped them 3 stars as they have cut their quality. They now used paper cups and not plastic. Also you now have to take your trash off the table. It's those little things that deteriorate the quality of the experience. But other than that the place and food is great. They keep good pace with keeping the buffet stocked. read more
