Kids came in from out of town and I didn't feel like cooking. I love the Beria tacos here. What we ordered: Five combination dinners with three tacos, rice, and beans. 2 x Carnitas 2 x chicken Carne Asada I had to call in the order, as the online ordering system for the restaurant keeps sending us to the one on Kings row. If you click on DoorDash, you can order online, however, why spend 15% more on $100 dinner just to have DoorDash take the order for you. DoorDash does say that there's no service charge, however, the prices are about 15% higher. After calling in the order, the lady said it would be about 15 minutes . I arrived and only had to wait for a couple of minutes. Everything was perfect, and the kids were amazed at how delicious the tacos were. I recommend this Celito Lindos over the one on Kings Row as the kings row only gives half full taco. The tacos here are full and delicious and worth the $4.50 each Taco. Even though the tacos are small, they're full of meat and full of flavor. Will definitely eat here regularly .

On a work lunch exploration, and thanks to the Yelp reviews a coworker and I were in the area and decided to give Cielito Lindo Taqueria a try! There were a handful of people there, I went with my go-to of a Carnitas torta. Wow! Everything was packed in and so fresh I really enjoyed my meal. The horchata was great as well. My coworker ordered a hot cheetos burrito and she had nothing but good things to say about it. There's plenty of seating so even if it's busy that shouldn't be a problem. The wait wasn't very long, and I think we got there at just the right time because shortly after it looked like a work crew had come in! Would definitely come back another time!

Great spot for your taco fix. The carne asada fries are great and flavorful piled with your meat of choice and all the fixings you'd expect. The tacos are great. The burritos are good but I think the fries and tacos are where it's at. I've gotten the burrito twice, for the price and size you can find better elsewhere when it comes to those. The staff is friendly and your food arrives quick. There's outdoor seating as well if you'd like to enjoy the spring breeze while you eat your meal. Great spot if you're ever in the north valley area and looking for a quick but delicious meal!

Wednesday about noon and several work trucks are in the parking lot. We have had take out from this Taqueria and it was good. So we joined the work crews and ordered in. The Asada plate includes a small thin steak, rice, beans, corn tortillas, salsa, grilled onions and a grilled jalapeño. Plenty of food for the price and most of it was pretty good. Although, the steak was overcooked and dry. My wife has two tacos, one each carnitas and asada. Both were delicious. Eat in or take away. Many menu options to choose from. Not expensive and large portions. Try it and see for yourself.

Great the service was good lady was kind the food came out fairly fast the food tasted great. Bathrooms were only for paying customers and I always disagree with that due to my health issues. Even if I was buying something the time it would take to get the key would not be great. Restaurant was clean and decorated and offered games. I would definitely come back!

The service was quick, but we weren't prepared with our order when we walked in. The cashier had to wait for us, but she didn't seem too happy about it. There wasn't anyone else in line, so it's not like we were holding anyone up. ‍ This is an order at the counter type of place. No free chips and salsa. The food was just okay. There are definitely better places to eat in the valley. #restaurantreview #notworthit

They have the best quesabirria tacos!! This is a small spot in northwest Reno. Order at the counter and they'll give you a number. Choose your own table. They have beer selections and margaritas. They have birria ramen and I'm so interested in trying it. Maybe next time !

This is in the building where the Dickeys bbq was and recently opened. This was the first time I'd had a chance to check it out. The interior is basically the same as the previous business with just a couple changes in the signs on the walls. Also they have Mexican music playing from speakers which was quite loud. The food wasn't the greatest but ok for a quick bite. We ordered street style tacos and a side of refried beans. I'd say the mango aqua was the highlight, very refreshing. Pina was on the menu but they didn't have it. I ordered a Burria taco and also one chicken. My sister ordered chicken. She wanted fish tacos but found out it was Tilapia and came with lettuce instead of coleslaw/cabbage so changed her mind. We got two plates but our order came all on one and the other plate had no paper liner but I transferred it over and we each got salsa and limes. The red salsa not too spicy or flavorful but we both enjoyed the green sauce. The beef taco was full of tender meat, cilantro and onion. No sauce to dip into but it was juicy. The chicken was dry and not much flavor but we were hungry and ate it all! My sister liked the refried beans, smooth with melted cheese on top. They do sell beer and margaritas here and have combo meals in addition to Ala carte. Our lunch came to $21 for everything so not bad prices. Hostess was friendly and brought our order to table.

This last visit was probably the best since my initial visit here. The consomme had all the rich components to a great consommé, but not so salty that we could not enjoy it. The meat in our birria tacos was not dry, nor did they skimp on the meat. It wasn't overly seasoned like the last few visits. Sadly, our birria noodles were inedible; it was too salty. This past week, I popped in with family to give it another try, and I'm so glad I did. This particular location is my favorite for their quesabirria tacos. Birria noodles are a must every visit. Coach, I hope you're not reading this review. We have always had great service when we have dined in. Never an unreasonable wait for our food. I'll be back for my next fix. I'm glad I decided to come back. I appreciate the change and their added specials. The tables are consistently cleaned and have plenty of tables since their renovation. My only suggestion is a little t.l.c. in the restroom. Thanks for another great meal, we'll see you soon.

Storefront of Cielito Lindo. I really wanted tacos tonight!

Last night I really needed tacos in my life. You ever get that feeling? The insatiable hunger for tacos that just won't go away, nags at you and instantly makes whatever you have in your fridge less desirable. Yup, that was me, and while my wife drove past all of the usual spots I'd say pick something up from, she recalled this little gem. Cielito Lindo! Tonight we went for a small order of Carne Asada Fries and a few flavors of tacos which included El Pastor for me, a variety of Carne, Chicken and El Pastor for my wife and Carne for my daughter. Of course the usual fixings of beans, rice, grilled onions and pepper. The flavors were great! The Pastor was tender, a little greasy which is expected from a delicious street taco, but flavorful nonetheless. Their fries were awesome. With a bit of Carne Asada on top, fresh pico and cheese, my wife ate most of it. Almost didn't share. Because the tacos were Birria style they had a nice bake of cheese melted into the tortilla and came with a dipping sauce I believe is called consomé. The service picking up that evening was simply prompt and efficient. One of the waitresses offered us some recommendations that helped and the cashier was very polite and accommodating. The restaurant was pretty quiet, with booth and bar style seating, things were pretty chill. This will definitely continue to be a go to spot for tacos for us now and one can only hope they maintain the same great quality of food and service they gave us this visit.

A couple Reno-based folks commented that they didn't even know this place existed. And judging by the number of reviews, I guess the secret is out. Our group was seated in the back outside patio, which allowed lots of room to chat and move around. Our dinner was served buffet style, and because of some food restrictions, only cheese enchiladas, fajitas, rice, and a nice vegetable dish were available. Beer and Margaritas were extra. I thought it was all quite good, and with really friendly and helpful service. I'd gladly come back and give the rest of their menu a better individual workout.

The enchilada sauce was again rather bland though creamy. Likely a 6/10. Just did not appeared to be seasoned in any way. The taco was a 5/10. I liked how they achieved the crunchy corn tortilla, but again it was very bland. The rice was soggy and flavorless. The refried beans had some cheese . But once again, no seasoning of any kind. The flan was pretty well made, though they didn't bother giving me the whipped cream. Our waitress was hostile to us and we ended up having to go up to the register to pay at the end after 1.75 hours. I had ordered the flan after somebody else ordered and it had come out. I wanted to see what it looked like before deciding. The waitress looked at me like "really" like why did I not order it earlier. When I asked for silverware after getting it she just about snapped. She hadn't cleaned up the extra silverware on the table as is normally expected so she grabbed it and slammed it by me like she was losing it. The air of the place kind of gave off a toxicity like nobody wanted to be there, everyone was miserable, and the customers were treated as annoyances that needed to get out. The food came across as the kitchen having lost all passion for cooking and doing the absolute bare minimum. Felt like I was at a restaurant from kitchen nightmares and Gordon Ramsay was going to walk in at any second. I had terrible gas and pain after getting home even 5 hours later so I am pretty sure the chili relleno had gluten, though that's my fault. We ended up here because there were not many decent options open at 3:30 pm. It was a place nobody really wanted to go to and I do not imagine that we will ever find ourselves here ever again. Rather not feel like our waitress is about to attack us and the people at the register look at us like go away.

I was glad that I did finally drop in. Located in a little strip mall on Valley Road, it's an unassuming place from the outside. The inside is small, but comfortable and it felt very "homey". When I walked in, the first thing that hit me was the smell of delicious food wafting through the air. The tastes did not disappoint. We were greeted and sat promptly by a personable young man that brought us water. The owner then brought us our drinks...a margarita for my dining companion and a Mandarin Jarritos for me. My sip of the margarita tasted amazing! Great balance and flavor. We also received a basket of chips and salsa. You could tell that they were made fresh to order. The chips were crispy and hot. The salsa was outstanding...fresh cilantro...balanced combination of flavors with a nice, subtle kick of spiciness at the back end. Not too spicy...just right. I usually have to ask for something hotter...not in this case. The food was amazing! My dining companion ordered the Chile Relleno plate and I got the Molcajete. The prices are outstanding and the amount of food? Huge plates! My Molcajete was sizzling hot and overflowing with chicken, beef, shrimp, nopales and ground beef mixed with veggies. A large plate of refried beans and spanish rice also accompanied this presentation. Fresh, hot, delicious corn tortillas rounded out each of our orders. We were also given a couple of squeeze bottles of sauces...green and red...to add to our meals if we wanted. Freshly made and the bottles were presented in a plastic tub filled with ice to keep them cold. Great addition to the already amazing food! There's also a nice selection of Mexican hot sauces on the table for you to choose from. We both took to-go boxes...so much food! Mine lasted for 2 more meals! I plan to return on a regular basis...this is now one of my favorite local places for great Mexican food. As always, I suggest that you visit to see what YOU think...
