Came here for a date night and really enjoyed myself. I felt like We were sitting back in our grandparents home waiting for a home cooked meal. The staff are always extremely friendly and attentive. Food is amazing and the decor is very homey. I ordered the Chicken Scallopini which was great, juicy and flavorful. My husband ordered the Bourbon Street Saute' that was delicious and had jumbo shrimp. Will definitely be back..... top 5 in Spanish Springs restaurants

This place has a great happy hour bit we had our grandson and you have to sit at the bar to reap the benefits. Oh well. We sat at a table promptly after walking in. Food was good but chicken could of had more flavor. I've always gotten the Hot and spicy sauce in the past and it always seemed alot spicier then. Hence the reason I always ordered it. Today, it was not spicy so in my opinion, it was bland. The random pieces hanging on the walls and ceiling is are always something to try and figure out where it came from? Jamie was our server and did a great job! Will return in the future to check out the happy hour specials.

Food was good. Service was better. The atmosphere is clean and very entertaining. Lots of random items on the walls and ceiling, mostly vintage treasures, great conversational pieces.

I really wanted to like this place, but the food was just... strange. It's positioned as an Italian-American restaurant, but the dishes didn't really land. My pasta sauce was almost brown and tasted more like a vegetable gravy than a classic Italian red sauce. I only got two meatballs, and the portion was surprisingly small for $22 before tax. My wife's pizza was also off -- not bad, just weird. It kind of felt like something you'd get at a random house party where someone tried their best, but it wasn't restaurant-level quality. For the price, it just didn't feel worth it. On the positive side, the service was friendly and the bread they brought out at the start was actually pretty good. But overall, the food just didn't justify the cost. We probably won't be coming back.

In the area and first time here. Excellent service by a very friendly bartender Jamie ! She was fast efficient courteous and remembered everyone's names ! They also had a great happy hour special - tried their chicken tenders with peppered blue cheese and drunken mushrooms. Both were very tasty ! I definitely recommend and will be back. I wanna try some of their steaks ! Sorry forgot to take pix of food was so hungry; looked and smelled great ate it up right away.

Pinocchio's has been in the area since 1997. Opening in Sparks in 2006. My friends had dined here before but it was my first time. I was amazed by the eclectic decor, anything and everything hanging from the walls and ceiling, antiquities and art and funky objects. Super Fun atmosphere. It was Valentine's Day and our regular Friday group of friends came here as a change from our regular weekly hangout spot. I was excited to try the clam chowder because I had heard much praise and it did not disappoint. A Very hearty broth with plenty of flavor. A friend ordered lasagna, another the Frisco burger another ordered a French dip and one ordered healthy, The Big Ass Salad and boy did it live up to its name. I had also ordered onion rings which were battered and fried perfectly but slightly overpriced for the portion size. And as a cocktail appropriate for the holiday because of red color, A Cosmopolitan. I asked around the table and everyone was very pleased with their meals. One strike against it and comments from some others in the group was that it was a bit pricey, but I explained that has become the norm whenever dining out anymore. The service was great , the waiter never missed a beat. It was a really nice experience.

Ok have to say me and the wife drove by this place for a while. We finally went in and glad we did. The food is so good and the staff is so friendly and nice. Food comes out so fast we love the drunken Spencer. We brought our friends and there loved it. The pre rib is super good my buy got that. It's definitely our go to spot! The inside is so cool so much different stuff! Cheers

Hadn't been here in years and decided to give this place another try. Glad I did! Sat in the bar area which had a nice atmosphere with football games on tv to watch. I ordered the garlic steak sandwich. The steak was cooked perfect. It was tender and full of flavor. It came with fries but they are your typical beer battered fries but they are still pretty good. The service was quick and great. We even got to chat with the owner JP for a bit. He is a great guy and made sure our table was well taken care of and plates came out properly to us. Highly recommend you check out this place. We didn't go for happy hour but I've heard they have some great deals so I will have to check that out!

When we go to Pinocchio's we usually go to the one on Kietzke but tonight we decided to try this location for the first time. The service was parallel. The host immediately greeted and welcomed us in with a smile, and our server tended to us, kept our drinks topped off and was very nice. The food offers huge portions, and it tasted delicious. Neither one of us had an complaints, and when they bring out the bread they put the butter underneath it so that the heat can help soften and get it ready for use. It is a casual setting, low noise and comfortable. Lots and lots of decorations to look at and conversate about. Very enjoyable.

Pinocchio is always good. I had the JP Spinach, OMG, it was bomb! It was great! My friend had the smoked prime rib and it was amazing! We love Pinocchio's! The servers are awesome! The mudpie dessert was so good! Try it, you'll like it!

Popped by for a late lunch with a friend. Ordered the turkey ciabatta sandwich with a side of clam chowder. Everything was good! We had drinks as well from their cocktail menu, but I think their wine is probably a better choice next time. Service was friendly. Solid spot. I want to come back for dinner

Despite this place being located on a dusty road in an industrial-looking area, it was packed at lunchtime on a Monday--both the bar and the dining room. The gravel parking lot is a bit of a mess when it's crowded (expect to do some three- and four-point turns to get out once you're ready to go), but the experience is worth it. While the menu is limited (mainly spaghetti, ravioli, spaghetti with ravioli, lasagna, and a nice minestrone), everything is good and made with care and authenticity. The sauce is rich (maybe a pinch too salty, but not overpowering), the cheese on the lasagna is nice and crispy, and the pasta has a nice bite to it. We've found pasta in Italian places throughout Reno to be a little too al dente; here it was just right (especially the lasagna noodles, though the ravioli is also nice and chewy). Even though the garlic bread is basic, I like that they cut it into manageable strips. Don't really have any major complaints. Despite the place looking a bit more like a country five-and-dime from the outside and kind of like something out of From Dusk Till Dawn on the inside--the food is good and we'll be back.

Today's appetizers, all of which were really good: Meatballs - Huge, more than enough to share! Even with 7 of us. We all got a bite. Calamari - Fried well, decent portions. I think I ate most of this dish. Love me some calamari! Toasted Focaccia Bruschetta - Hit for our group. I enjoyed it also, but the calamari was still my favorite. Complimentary Bread - So good!! Always a favorite. We always have to get seconds. If you want 3rds, it comes with a $4 upcharge, but that is still worth it in my book. House Salads - Nothing special, but also not bad. Fresh, decent quantity, and with dressing on the side. Two Cesar Salads - Our guests enjoyed this. $5 upcharge each. Cups of Minestrone Soups - Good. Cup of Egg Drop Soup - One of our guests wanted to try this; $5 upcharge. Linguine & Clams - Both in white and red sauce. My choice was the red sauce. I kept forgetting that this comes with BABY clams as I prefer larger clams, and actually if it was still in the shell, that would be an extra plus. NOTE to self, do not keep getting this... Eggplant Parmigiana - Home run, both ladies that got this loved it! Huge slices of eggplant. Baked and fried well. Eggplant Parmigiana with Grilled Chicken - WOW, generous portions. I think my wife took ¾ of her dish home... She got another two meals out of it. Sauteed Calamari Steak - This looked good, I might get it next time. Our newest addition to our group. She also took half her entree home. Grilled Prawn Picatta - Not a large quantity, but because all of us (except one) are light eaters, our guest still took half home. Another good entree. I will also add this to my list for next time. Special Chicken Pomodoro - Decent portions, my buddy devoured this. He is a good eater. One of the few in our group, lol. Dessert, Tiramisu - This was really good. We should have ordered a second one... And to wash it all down, I got a glass of Italian white wine which I really did not enjoy... Atmosphere - Double storefront. We seemed to always end up sitting in the second room but not today! I liked that they had a bar in each room. Table, booth, or bar seating. Two unisex restrooms. Plenty of parking. See pictures for business hours. Open 6 days a week; closed Mondays. Service - Good. We had a leisurely 2 hour dinner and never felt rushed. We were catching up with our good friends and new friends. Price - $323 + generous tips. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1990 as Davos; we have been customers for a very long time. Glad we are back and introducing our friends to your restaurant. Mid 1990 - Coco Pazzo, then renamed to Panevino. 2000 - Zozo's.

The bread was a nice complement to soak up the tomato broth. The Lasagna was absolutely delicious.
