There are some people who just cannot be satisfied and not to name names or anything but Drew D, I hope you find some joy somewhere in life because if Arizona smokers can't do it, you're just a miserable person...but I digress... Zane and Max are truly 2 of the most amazing people I've ever had the pleasure to encounter in a business. Remarkable, knowledgeable and helpful people, I couldn't be more satisfied with my visit. I went to replace a vape I lost over the weekend and Max (I really hope I have the name right but if not, my apologies - this is the guy with the friendliest face and dark blonde hair) went above and beyond to find the right vape to fit my needs and personal preferences. He really took the time to go over every possible option and discuss the advantages and disadvantages to each one, and that means a LOT to me. Every smoke shop that I've purchased a vape from has never failed to leave out a very important piece of info - that the batteries never come WITH the vape. I always get home and put it together and realize I have to drive all the way back to whatever sh*t show business I just spent a grip of cash at to spend more and buy the batteries that make the vape operate- any previous smoke shop I've given my business to has disappointed me in one way or another. But the guys at Arizona Smokers let me know what my new device required without me having to say a word or unnecessarily make a second trip on the same night. Max offered to not only put everything together for me but additionally add the stores own vape juice to the tank so that I could make use of it quickly. Just a 10 out of 10 business that I'd recommend to anyone looking for a legit, clean, quality smoke shop. I have a smoke shop within a mile of where I live, but I'd go out of my way and travel a bit farther to come here, even if they were half an hour away...this would be my go-to smoke shop. Whether you need vapes, disposable or otherwise, a cool new smoke device, cannabis essentials and more- come here. You won't be disappointed. I've never had such a great experience anywhere really - these guys are EVERYTHING. At any given time I have several hundred cigars at home. Have gone to most of the shops in phx and never had an experience like this. Ambassador has the best selection by far in town, next is Churchill's. Stick to those places. Okay, now yo the review. My experience: Walked in, immediately asked "how may I help you?" In a non-friendly tone. I thought I had walked into a private establishment with that kind of question. As if it wasn't a retail place and he thought I was lost. I said that I'm just browsing. I walked into the humidor and not 60 seconds later he comes in, asks me again how he can help me. My first instinct was to ask if he wants me to leave since he was lurking and seemed uncomfortable with me being there. It's like he suspected i was trying to scope the joint. But, I say, I'm browsing the selection. He leaves. Less than 60 seconds later he's back. Asks me again how he can help. Then he says he doesn't have any opusx (I didn't ask for them). I then asked if he had any anejos. He says "I haven't been asked about those in years". Now I know this guy is a complete joke. Some of the most hyped up fuente cigars, that most retailers will limit to 1-2 per person, and no one has asked you about them in YEARS? I politely thanked him and left. The humidor: stale, no air movement. Could smell mildew. Cigars with wrappers had water inside the wrapper, looked like a foggy bathroom mirror. Cigars without wrappers had white mold on them. Some of the newer stuff didn't, likely they hadn't been opened long enough to develop it. Stick to the padrons if you are desperate and must get something here. Seems to be the only thing that moves based on the lack of mold on them. The selection: absolute trash outside of padron. Not a single tajuaje, or liga privada. One unopened box of illusione, bunch of house brand trash. Did have some fuentes, nothing special. Also a few tabernacle. Hands down the worst cigar shop I've gone to in the phx metro in 15yrs. In an industry that relies so much on customer service, I'm surprised it's still open considering all the bad reviews on here dating back several years. Tl/dr: 1 star is generous. This is an obvious 0 star establishment.
