This place has a great selection. Check out there website, they have almost everything. They don't have a ton on display in the humidor in the main building compared to what they have but don't worry, their warehouse is where it is at. I suggest picking out a few things online, writing them down and then letting them grab them for you from the warehouse. This place can be overwhelming if you don't have an idea in mind. On the bright side the employees I have dealt with (in person and on the phone) have been some of the friendliest in town. They can always throw out suggestions or chat a little as you are checking out their selection Their smoking rooms look great if that is your thing. Tons of seating and TVs. Their man cave is insane. 10-20 couches/chairs and probably just an many TVs. If you have buddies that smoke cigars, this is a place to enjoy one at. Their ventilation seemed really good when I walked through the rooms which can't be said about all cigar shops. I think their man cave has an open door to bring in fresh air from outside. They have a great selection of watches, lighters, and cutters. I can guarantee no one has their selection. Their prices are competitive with the biggest online retailers (prices advertised online do not include AZ tobacco taxes). They offer tons of singles, 5 packs, boxes and bundles. A bit hard to find, tucked behind the Scottsdale airport, but well worth the effort. This was a first visit. The shop offers several rooms and lounges inside and out. Some of the retail space is reserved for gifts other than cigars. But that still reserves a large, generally well humidified setting for a very good and varied selection of sticks. The staff that I interacted with were interested in my tastes...not merely pushing product. Easy to find what I wanted, and to find something new. Each proved to be a great smoke. The indoor lounge area is large and comfortable...and an excellent escape from the afternoon heat. I will definitely be back. read more

Drove 50 miles across the valley to visit Cigar King and I all can say is WOW! Wish this place was closer to home so I could visit on a regular basis. Joe gave me the grand tour and recommended a great cigar (Cigar King Aged Reserve Maduro) which I enjoyed in the very comfortable and well ventilated lounge. After my smoke I purchased a box of the cigar he recommended and another box of a harder to find item. Both boxes were very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back to Cigar King. read more

I purchased some cigars that I had never had, and, I didn't care for. I called to return them, and order some that I knew I liked. I smoke one cigar out of each box/5 pack. (2 cigars) When I asked if I would be charged for the 2 cigars I was told yes. Now places like Holts cigars let you smoke 3, and do not charge for the 3, and give a full refund. Famous cigars let's you smoke 2, and receive a full refund. Cigars international let's you smoke 2 with a full refund. Cigars.com you can smoke 2 with a full refund. You see where I'm going. I have been smoking cigars for close to 20 years, and every place I have purchased from let's you try a couple at least to see if you like them. Cigar King is the first, and only place that does not let you try at least one without charging you. With so many cigar shops, and sites why would you shop there? Avoid them like the plague. They have no integrity, are rude when it comes to returns, and are so greedy that they have some bundles, not boxes of an old house brand that was made by Pepin Garcia in the past. He no longer makes any brands for them. They want $1000 for a bundle of these cigars. If that is not greed I don't know what is. You can get some of the finest cigars in the world for half that in an elegant box, and not a bundle that has most likely lost their flavor since pepins older lines do not age well past a year or two. His newer blends do. Give your business to one of the other vendors I listed, and avoid the greed that is Cigar King. read more

While visiting Scottsdale, this place was recommended to me. I was greeted literally at the door by David. He was friendly and asked if I/we had been there before. We (wife & I-she has zero interest in cigars BTW) said we had not. David proceeded to tell us about the place, and showed us around. This place is quite impressive. They have a top notch wristwatch assortment. An entire room actually. While I love watches too, I didn't want to be distracted from the cigars:). David wanted us to see the storage humidor across the lot. He got the key and showed us an enormous room full of cigars. Over a million. This place does an online business as well. Looks like they do pretty well. So, I'm impressed (wife, not so much...). Now we go into the retail humidor. While I'm fairly new to cigars, I've been in quite a few shops, this was probably the most amazing one so far. David, still giving his full attention to me, asks what I like, etc. I tell him some sticks I am looking for, to try. They have them, and many more. I selected several and David throws in a quality house blended stick! Overall, this place is a must see. In the back they have a great lounge, TV's, recliners, very cool set up. I normally have had good experiences with CK.com, but then again I never ordered anything other than full boxes of cigars. That being said, this past order was a variety pack of 5 Padron Anniversary series. The 5 cigars were just thrown into a zip lock bag and then thrown into a box that also had an ashtray. Well, guess what? The 5 cigars were crushed and cracked during shipping. It's obvious CK does not have the smarts to know better; too bad. I did email them to make good on this, but they ignored it. This same exact shipping practice happened to my son as well. Way to go Cigar King. Buyers beware!!! read more

If you want snarky millennials scoffing at your questions and treating you with contempt then this is the store for you! Buy a super mild cigar or ask about one and expect to be treated with scorn. I have been a cigar smoker for 30 years, longer then most of these punks have been alive. Yet they think you have to smoke a big black tar oozing turd to enjoy a cigar or know about them. I don't want a fully bodied heavy profiled cigar every day. Once in a while a Diamond Crown or Avo is called for. Yes they are mild, yes I enjoy them, no I'm not an idiot because I do and I won't return because they treated me like it. I looked back at my check book. I was spending between $300-700 a month there. I will never spend a penny supporting these asses again. If they didn't think I heard their comments coming from the office when I walked past they are sadly mistaken. ANY and I mean ANY mail order place is cheaper, especially without AZ cigar tax to pay. Been here so many times I've lost count, yet the quality has not only remained high, I believe it's been taken to a higher level if that's possible. Some of the things I failed to mention in my original review was that they have a considerable inventory of nice watches and shaving products, and very nice, high end stuff at that. Second, their staff is the best, bar none, of any humidor I've been to, whether it be Arizona or the several other states that I've smoked in. Friendly, attentive, and above all VERY knowledgeable on all their product. They've recommended brands and types for me, and when i was buying for some friends who aren't exactly the biggest cigar smokers (maybe 2 sticks a year types), and they've never once steered me wrong. Also, they've opened up a lounge in the back, the Diamond Crown room. Flat screens, hi top tables, sofas, laz-e-boy recliners and a great air filtration system. They didn't have this yet when i wrote my original review. Great space for relaxing in all year round. All this, plus they have an online store and delivery where you can purchase everything they have. I had a box of Rocky's sent to my brother in Massachusetts for Christmas. Got there in no time. I've never had a bad time or poor quality product from this establishment, and like i said before, all these things keep me coming back. I won't go anywhere else for my smoking needs. They have the biggest selection, and if you don't see the exact cigar brand or size you'd like just ask, they probably have it in the warehouse across the lot. You come to Cigar King for one thing - to feel like a King! You buy your stogie, any stogie, they're all good and even the good ones are on sale. Get it cut and lit and then you stroll around the front lobby and admire the gorgeous humidors and ash trays. And they got 2 nice oil paintings that looks like scenes in Cuba. Then you wander into Gallery A and druel all over the high end time pieces on display. They carry about 12 brands and each have their own showcase with halogen spots so you can examine every detail. Man, they had some gorgeous Tutima's and even the modestly priced Bulova Moon Watch was tempting to buy. Then you walk into thee Grand Gallery B where you choose the Diamond Crown leather club chair of your choice and sit in front of the ESPN 80" TV or the CNBC Stock Ticker 80" TV. If you come with a small group, you can sit at a table or sofa grouping in the back. And this place is so cool, they'll buy a couple buckets of fried chicken and a box of donuts for everyone nibble on around lunch time. If this isn't puff heaven I don't know what is! read more

Their prices are pretty good and their shipments are fast to California, but I would use caution when ordering from them over the Internet. I ordered a box of cigars, but received "promotional packs" instead. They were the correct cigars, but it was kind of disappointing they didn't come in the box. Jumped in Friday afternoon to pick up internet specials and the gentlemen are all so helpful in getting a woman what she needs in/out. I usually get snarls from gents that are shopping as if I shouldn't be there as it's a Man's Cave not for women, and the owners and workers always treat me with upmost respect, wait on my very kindly and get things I need for my "other half" in an expedited fashion. Meanwhile I usually spend about a hundred $ and the other guys shopping are still stammering as to what to get, what to do, what questions to ask, on and on and on I like that they, Gary, Allen and ALL the workers accept women shoppers in their wonderful Cigar Shop. Been going there for over 15 years and they are the greatest staff of anywhere I travel to, i.e., San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Arkansas, Geneva Switzerland. Not many places, but nowhere ELSE in the world do I get as much satisfaction and feel GREAT about my purchase for my honey as a "just because" surprise from their internet specials!
