Placed an order several weeks ago at their pipesandcigars.com site, which still hasn't been received. They completely ignore all attempts at contact by email and have not answered the phone once. Instead, we get chain letters about how they had a warehouse glitch and everything will be sent shortly. That has been going on for a week and a half now. It did change to "your order is being picked for processing" three or four days ago, but no word of shipment or any response whatsoever to my requests for clarity and eventually cancellation. Was a cigar of the month club member for around six months. I have had problems with my order shipping almost every month. Like now I'm still waiting on my July order to get delivered. Says it shipped on July 7th. Today is July 18th and still no cigars. My guess is the cigars won't even be smokeable when they arrive because if there in a delivery truck or trailer somewhere, I know its got to be over 100 degrees in the delivery truck. Which has ruined the cigars over the 11 plus days now that the cigars have been shipped. Poor shipping usually means cheap company, Cigar International is failing there customers by being cheap with there shipping provider that they have chosen. Bad leadership, leads to a bad company on all levels. Will not be purchasing from Cigar International in the future and will encourage other fellow cigar smokers to not purchase as well. read more

I am very displeased with CI. The last two orders the outside wrap leaves are dry and brittle. I use a humidor which I received from CI use the little blue balls in water which I got from CI along with other items. The last shipment was the wrong cigars and the return policy was a laugh. They wanted me to take the return to a UPS office. I had to argue with the CS rep to get a home pick up. I am new customer to CI. Got caught up in Cluster FxxxK in February with computer system change order. Took over a month to resolve problems. I was lucky enough to get a hold of some good customer service reps and I understand their pain. They had thousands of orders fall into their black hole and it overwhelmed them. They are still trying to dig their way out of that mess and for sure they were terrible in dealing with customer frustrations. Placed an order yesterday and it shipped today. I used to like this company, however due to a customer service experience I will never be ordering again. I updated my address with the company and then chose the PayPal option. My package got shipped to my old address. Customer service told me it was pay pal's fault and not theirs and that I could either pay to have ups try to pick it back up or simply forego receipt of my cigars. Oddly, I use PayPal frequently and everything else gets here fine. Adam, the customer service representative seemed to be very well versed with this issue occurring yet was willing to literally do nothing to help me. Then, even though the only tracking information the company gave me was for ups, I called ups and they advised Me that they handed it over to the USPS and there is separate tracking Information which I was not provided. So, unless I can resolve this with usps tomorrow, someone else gets to enjoy my Christmas cigars, and the company gets my money and ships my product to the wrong address has no accountability.
