Prices go up and service goes down. Ordered 2 meals. One never came out. One came but came out wrong. Then, when I left the middle of the movie to ask for the missing meal, they gave me attitude, were rude and refused to refund us. Took forever to get the missing quesadilla and made me miss more of the movie. Incompetent, untrained, no hospitality... it's obvious why they sit in the 2 star category. Based on experience and current scores I'm assuming it won't be long til they fail and turn into another low income apartment building just like the regal in oceanside. Theathere experiences just aren't what they used to be. They have just become a hub for hiring first time jobbers and high school kids. Not a single experienced adult manager onsite. The manager of this theater has HORRIBLE customer service skills! It is not the first time I've had to deal with her. but I really hope it's the last. The first time I had to deal with her was after my friends and I had gone into a theater in winter without being warned that it had no heater, and it was absolutely freezing to the point where my friends were shivering and their teeth were chattering. I had worn a jacket with a hood and brought a blanket and I actually had to sit there with the hood up. I mean we're talking frigid! On the way out of the theater, I recognized her as the manager so I approached her and she basically just said well the heater is broken. As if there was nothing she could do about it and she was very unfriendly and I thought frankly she was rude. Fast forward to 1/27/26 -we went on discount Tuesday to see the movie "Marty Supreme." We were about 10 minutes into the movie, I would guesstimate, and suddenly the fire alarms were going off and the lights were flashing. So everybody in the theater filed out and by the time, my friends and I got out into the lobby, we were told it was a "false alarm". So we all just ran back & got into our seats as quickly as possible. But then we were sitting there and the lights just kept flashing. It was a huge distraction and it made our theater experience horrible. But we go to the movies almost every Tuesday at that theater. Since they've discontinued senior day on Wednesdays, we take advantage of the discount day on Tuesdays. The couple next to us got up and said they were leaving and getting a refund. That was before the lights quit flashing, so my friends and I all stood up and started to leave and then suddenly the lights quit flashing. So then we had to file back to our seats again. We were thinking well maybe they'll rewind the movie. But they never did. We sat back down and vowed to ask the manager to give us some compensation on our way out. One of my friends asked for her money back. I wouldn't have asked for that, but she was ahead of me, so whatever! I would've expected a free popcorn or concession of some kind. But this manager said to us, "they were supposed to rewind the movie." I said to her "they did not rewind the movie". So after watching a nearly 3 hour long movie, she tells us "all I can do is rewind the movie right now and let you sit and watch it"!!!! We didn't have time, not to mention the fact that every movie comes with about a 20 minute lead-in of commercials. REALLY??? THAT WAS ALL SHE COULD DO ?? Didn't she mean THAT WAS ALL SHE WOULD DO??? And you know a friendly, smiling attitude would've gone a long way in this situation. Or how about the words "I'm sorry"?? How about pretending to give a damn, even if you don't , which was clear. She is the worst manager I have ever had to deal with! Any manager with a half a brain knows that although it may cost a little bit of money to offer a disgruntled customer a free popcorn or a free Coke or a free movie ticket for future use goes a very long way in creating Goodwill towards your establishment. Especially if you SMILE!!! This manager is unfriendly and inept. You made three customers very unhappy today. Actually I'm sure a lot of people just put up & shut up. I'm not too sure how this location is considered a Cinepolis Luxury Cinema. First of all, the exterior of the building is outdated as well as some areas inside. Maybe, management wanted the arcade games in the lobby to revamp it a bit. The other locations don't have arcade games but this one is larger with more movie screens including 4Dx. I guess that's why I've been there a couple of times so giving a star for that. Interestingly enough, there still isn't a button to order from your recliner seat. You have to wait in line to place your order...okay what happened to the lux experience (Smh)?! If you're lucky, they will deliver your food to you depending on what you ordered. Noted, the other locations have a wider selection of menu options. Suprisingly, my favorite wine is sold here and not at the others. Okay, I'll give another star. FYI, the movie ticket prices are a bit reduced here...I might as well give a star given the state of our economy these days. We really enjoy the plush reclining chairs. The only downside is you can get so comfortable during the movie and possibly doze off! The concession stand can be weird. It's hit or miss. I enjoyed my popcorn. And they have the do-it-yourself butter machine. I'd rather have the experts, but the butter on for me, but I survived. They did away with the tiny packets of salt and they now give you a plastic cup with salt in it. So that's kind of weird and threw off my sense of how much salt I needed on the popcorn. Also, they change from popcorn buckets to bags and the butter had soaked through my bag. I think the movie sound system was good and the screen was clear. I like that they have spacious theaters and you don't feel like you are crammed in with everyone. read more

I watched Wicked:For Good here with my sister. I would say among the Cinepolis theaters I've been to, this location would be my least favorite. Some of the sinks in the bathroom stalls weren't working, and there was a funky smell in the theatre. 3/5 for cleanliness. The seat recliners were comfy and not worn out. I haven't been to the theater in years so this was a little shocking. When you enter it's almost like an arcade. Then you go up to these computers (only one of them work) to buy your tickets and pick your seats. What happened to ordering at the window outside? Got some popcorn,a soda and some candy and it was a whopping $40. That blew my mind a bit. The young man working behind the counter did an excellent job though. This is my favorite place for a movie. The experience always speaks for itself. The fresh hot food brought to you, electric recliners, pure luxury. If you drink they serve different beers and cocktails as well. I do suggest possibly quarterly chair checks or something of that nature as some of the chairs are very squeaky or losing padding. Possibly adding a survey at the end of the movie so you know what seat they sat in. Regardless those small details have never taken from the experience of Cinepolis, which I have many amazing memories with my late best friend. Cinépolis Vista Village - A Promising Facade Hiding a Rundown Reality My wife, kids, and I were visiting a friend in the Vista area and decided to catch the new Fantastic Four movie. Cinépolis Vista Village was the closest theater and, on the surface, it looked like a solid pick--food, drinks, a modern arcade entrance--what's not to like? Despite the abundance of negative reviews online, I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, the reality matched (and maybe exceeded) the warnings. Upon entry, the theater had the feel of a once-great venue now under new management and barely holding it together--largely staffed by teens who seemed overwhelmed or indifferent. The food and beverage menu was pretty limited, and my popcorn came only three-quarters full. When I went to add butter, the machine sputtered out its last few drops--an oddly fitting preview of the experience to come. The theater itself was decently crowded but comfortable enough. That is, until a mid-movie bathroom break with my son revealed what might be the worst movie theater restroom I've ever encountered. Three stalls were out of order, and the urinals appeared to be... leaking? There was a pool of urine across the entire floor. Not a puddle--a pool. To use the restroom, you had to wade into it. The smell was unbearable, and I honestly felt bad for having to bring my son into that mess. Two staff members stood nearby with mops, but neither showed any urgency or interest in addressing the situation. After the movie, we accidentally wandered into an empty theater room that appeared to have been repurposed as some kind of children's daycare area. I can't quite explain it--dim lighting, no supervision, eerie energy. It felt like a scene out of a horror film. Definitely not a space I'd feel comfortable leaving any child in. Cinépolis Vista Village feels like a theater in decline, relying on surface-level upgrades like flashy games and a bar to mask deeper operational issues. Between the poor maintenance, underwhelming concessions, and absolutely unacceptable restroom conditions, this was not a place I'd recommend--especially for families. It has potential, but only if there's serious attention paid to cleanliness, staffing, and basic upkeep. This place has really become run down. We went last week to see Wicked: For Good and the screen had some damage so you could see the blemish. They didn't have more than 2 people working at the counter of the concession stand on a rainy Sunday afternoon- that seems very unfair to the people who are working as well as the customers. Management should plan better staffing ratios for a weekend. There were at least 10-15 people in line at any time. Only 1 of the 6 drink stations had ice. One family was waiting for a refill on their popcorn for over 10 mins. 9/10 of the stalls in the women's restroom were disgusting, toilets not flushed and you could tell they had not been serviced maybe all day. Most other Cinépolis you can order food from your seat but this one does NOT offer this service. If you're going to spend it- save yourself time and money- and go ANYWHERE else! read more

i came here for the first time with my grandma for a movie date and we had a nice time. to be honest, it's not as nice as the la costa location, and you can't order form your seat like you can there but overall it was still pretty nice. i don't like that the large popcorn comes in a bag, would definitely prefer a container but maybe that's just the new thing. it was clean and staff were friendly. it also feels nostalgic because i grew up coming to this theater before it was cinépolis. i would probably return here if i don't feel like driving to la costa, especially since this theater is like 10 minutes from me. the tickets on a tuesday were also $3 cheaper than at the la costa location. they have good deals on different days! read more

We usually come to this location but after today definitely won't be returning. I left my wallet behind and didn't realize it til we got home. I called SEVERAL times to inform them but NO one answers and I mean SEVERAL times and it just rings and rings. Anyhow, about time I get there I'm informed by the front desk and manager DIAMOND there is nothing they can do. I ask if she can just check because I know it's right under the recliner and she said no I would have to come back in 2 hours when the movie is done! I tell her what if someone finds it and keeps it and she says sorry nothing really she can do?? Umm how about go in there and check where I told you the wallet is located at? Although I love to go to the movies I continue to come here because we have made it more of a family tradition. I go to the movies twice a week whether here in Cineopolis USA or Cineopolis Tijuana. The seats at the VIP are comfortable and large. The issue I have is with the variety of popcorn compared to the TJ one where you can get Doritos, cheeks, spicy, etc for the same price as the regular large popcorn. Here a special popcorn which is Cheetos only is 2dlls more and a smaller version of the regular popcorn. Bathrooms at this location have always been low priority and always have broken sinks or toilets. Just not VIP-like. I compare it to the one in TJ and their VIP is quite intriguing in comparison. read more

I was worried about coming to this location due to all the negative reviews on here and google. But it was the closest luxury theatre to us. It exceeded our expectations! Yes.... I agree that ALL movie theater snacks are overpriced. There is nothing different about this place. A large popcorn and drink ran us $20. Tickets were $32 for a 1250 showing. Not bad for reclining seats. They do not offer food service at your seat. You order it from the concession stand. The front of the theater is all arcade games. And the screens are in the back to the left and right side. We were in screen 6, and the seats were really nice. Our seats were clean and not broken. I did notice that one seat on the end of our row had a broken foot rest. The theater was pretty much empty for our screening. Only 2 other people showed up. But when you book online, it looks like half of the seats are taken. Must be reserved for walk it's? Overall, we were happy with our first visit here. We had no issues. Cane here in Saturday to watch Gladiator 2. Very excited, got there early rebuff to not stabs in line all day at the concession stand. At 13:09 we ordered the Philly cheesesteak looking sandwich with fries, a hot dog combo, and a medium popcorn. Placing the order was fine and the girl asked which theater we were going to and which seats we had since the food had to be delivered. Cool beans, can't wait to eat. BUT... an hour goes by and no one is getting any food delivered. Then all of a sudden one guy is walking in with one item going to the back of the theater to drop off the food. Ummm no sir, we were here before that couple. But I won't cause a scene. He leaves and comes back 7 minutes later with another item. Just one! And gives it to someone else. Ummm, again no. Where is mine? Those people came after me. I won't do anything, we are in a theater and this movie is cool. He leaves and comes back with 2 items and gives to someone else. He leaves and comes back with 2 items and finally gives it to us. Yay! But what is this?! There's half a pound of condiments on my hotdog!!! Super disgusting. I'm not a condiment person like that. Why would you not just put the ketchup and mustard packets on the side so the person eating it can put how much they want???!! Then I scrapped off the condiments and guess what? This thing was super salty. Hotdogs are already salty, what did you do to make it saltier and why? It's OK, I can get through this. 4 bites and I was done! Let's try a dry to see if things will look up. Oh no, nevermind. That's salty as hell too. Well, let me see if my bf's Philly cheesesteak is good. Oh no, salty and the bread is burnt. My bf didn't eat all of his food either. Eat all the popcorn then to starve off the hunger although the price of food was like $60-$70. Now why are you going to offer food and not make it decent? Took my boys to see Mario in the junior theater last night, and while there were some cool things about going to a kids theater, it seems like the rest of the theater is falling apart or extremely dirty. In the theater, there was old candy left in some of the cup holders (which anyone's kid could just come up and start eating), multiple broken chairs, and broken soap dispensers literally falling off the wall in the bathroom. In the entrance there is a coat of dust along the walls and the floor boards behind the video games are disgusting. The bathrooms were dirty, nothing looked clean. I would definitely not order food here again either, because if they can't clean the bathroom just IMAGINE the kitchen.
