    Steak taco salad

Seriously some of the best Tex-Mex in the area! Come for the sauces--all are made in house, even the ranch and sour cream. The best I've ever had. Ask for the green sauce on the side! The steak and chicken were both so tender. We got the steak taco salad, steak quesadilla, and steak & chicken fajita. Highly recommend! Great atmosphere and helpful staff. The chips and salsa are delicious!

My wife and have finally made a visit to this wonderful restaurant which we find out has been around for three years. Finding the right Mexican food can be a challenge and we scores with Cinco De Mayo where it is clear from the professional service and quality food we scored big time by coming here tonight. The chicken tortilla soup was flavorful and robost amount of substance with veggies and chicken. Truly one of the best in NOVA and most likely beyond. I had the Masitas Del Peurco which is flavorful blend of onions and chunks of pork with white rice and black beans. Sort of like carnitas but I na class all it's own. Fresh homemade corn tortillas we tried that will lure us back for more and will need to save room for dessert. Plenty of beverage options. Prices are in the right range for the quality and compliments to the chef and staff. Roxanna spent time sharing with us the history of the restaurant and the commitment she and her husband have for quality and service. We will be back and bring some friends along next time. Thank you!

Visited for dinner for the first time this past week. Was seated within 1 minute of arrival. Ordered water with lime, a small side of Guacamole, and a Beef Burrito with ground beef. They first serve you a basket of tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa was tasty - but not hot. The side of Guac was for the chips. The Burrito came out in about 15 minutes. It's served with rice, refried beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, and sour cream. Filling, hearty, and delish! I asked about hot sauce - they brought me house made hot sauce two in small ramekins: the first was a thick green sauce made with Cilantro and Jalapeños - nice heat and flavor; the second sauce was a thinner red sauce - apparently it has 11 different Chile peppers in it. It's much hotter than the green sauce. I drizzled a good bit of the red hot sauce over the rice and refried beans. Made the top of my head sizzle! Service was good! Paid with Apple Pay! #CincoDeMayoTexMexGrill

Food was excellent. I got the steak and chicken combo, others got just chicken, seemed to be a bigger portion with the just chicken vs $2 more for steak and a little less food. Got the large house margarita, it was good, but probably not worth $18. Service was good and quick, it wasn't crowded so the noise was down and plenty of space to spread folks out around the restaurant. If it was crowded, might have been a bit more noisy, but probably ok. Will be going back for sure.

Lomo Saltado - just amazing. If I don't know the restaurant and if it's on the menu, I'm getting it.

It's funny we aimed to eat at Foster Grille but saw this Tex-Mex next door and switched on the fly! We were glad we did because the food was so good! I had a good feeling as soon as the chips and salsa came. The chips were fresh and hot and crisp and the salsa takes you right to Mexico! I have never been to this particular Tex-Mex and I was hungrier than I was adventurous so I went for the safe choice of ordering Lomo Saltado - the dish that's familiar to me. The waiter recommended two other top choices (check pics!) The staff was really friendly. The place was decorated like a typical Mexican restaurant - nothing that stood out to me to complain or compliment about. After about 3 bowls of chips, the food came. That took a while but it was the right amount of time to cook fresh meals. No complaints here. The portions are huge! If you don't eat a lot, there's enough for two meals. The taste was authentically Tex-Mex. I'm glad my friend tried Masitas de Puerco al Horno which was equally good! The lemon balances out the rich porky taste so well. The oiled up rice (maybe salted too) just brings it all together. I will definitely come again. Oh, don't forget to order a LARGE Horchata (rice drink) that's not on the menu. You'll love it!

Had dinner at Cinco de Mayo in Bristow. I ordered classic ceviche for an appetizer and Camarones Tequila for the entree and mango flavored margarita. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Also ordered dessert to go because I was too full for dessert after dinner. Ambiance was simple but tasteful.

But a few things held this visit back from being a great experience. The biggest issue, and the one that cost the most stars: the noise. There's essentially no acoustic treatment in the dining room, and even at maybe 25% capacity, the sound is overwhelming. We couldn't hold a conversation without leaning in and repeating ourselves constantly. That's a real problem. It also had a direct impact on our order -- our server couldn't hear us clearly either, so a simple substitution (no beans, double rice) came out as no beans and no rice. Small thing, but avoidable. On the menu side, the descriptions need work. The patron salad lists "house dressing" with no further detail -- turns out it's quite sweet, which felt out of place on that dish. That's emblematic of the menu overall: the flavor combinations lean creative, sometimes mixing profiles that don't really belong together in a Tex Mex context. It's not bad, just occasionally confusing, and more transparency in the descriptions would help guests set expectations. Bottom line: solid kitchen, good staff, but fix the acoustics and tighten up the menu copy and this place has real potential.

The…read morelisting says 3 patties stuffed with your choice of meat and lists "beef" or "chicken"... I got one set of beef and one set of chicken. The cost was usually $10.99 each, thru the app at least - you know how they like to mark things up in the delivery apps.... I also ordered a side of sour cream, which at $3.50 per serving is ridiculously expensive... You can buy a whole container at the store for that! For $3.50 I would usually get a whole side of something (corn, fries, onion rings, etc) at a restaurant..... The empanadas were pretty good. It was flavorful and seasoned well.. it was slightly spicy, at just the right amount, not over powering... glad I had some sour cream handy! The portions were good and reasonable. However, $3.50 for such a small container of sour cream is a bit absurd. Should be $1, or $1.50. Not sure what the yellow sauce was that came with the empanadas, but it smelled decent and didn't have any strong scents or flavors to identify it. I found the meal to be very enjoyable! I would order again.

This item listed a variety of meats and side dishes to be served for 3 people. For starters the side dishes were served on individual plates as you would receive a standard side of rice and beans. So only two plates were served because there were two of us but we paid for a dish that serves 3. At the $80+ price tag we expected leftovers. The amount of guacamole each of us got was less than Chipotle gives you on a bowl. For the price point I am expecting an appetizers worth of guacamole. Because if I were to add up the cost of the individual items on the menu that made up the parrillada familiar I don't see how I got any value here. Additionally for a dish that included ribs as one of the meats to serve for three people, we literally got 3 ribs... Just between my gf and I we almost finished everything on the plate. Which again is suspicious for a dish that is supposed to serve 3 people. None of the meats were really stand out. To be clear the food wasn't bad but it was definitely not the best I had ever had and for what they charge I admit I was curious if they were able to back it up since similar dishes elsewhere are a fraction of the price. To top it off they charge an addition fee for paying with a card for a meal that ended up being over $90 before the tip. And they do not offer free water in a cup, we were forced to buy and drink from plastic bottles. The server was nice and attentive but the atmosphere was incredibly loud based just on the volume of the music, not even the other guests. There is definitely a lot to improve on here. It may be worth checking it out if you are having drinks is at the bar which is where most other patrons were sitting, but for food especially for value Manassas alone has so many other options to try.

This was my first time at a Moe's. I liked having a menu board to read while standing in line. I felt like I wasn't holding the line deciding. I ordered the veggie nachos. I was happy to see they had veggie everything options. On my nachos I had queso, black beans, pico de gallo corn/tomatoes, lettuce shredded cheese, sour cream, and jalapenos. Also I ordered an ice tea. The employees working the line were so friendly to me and others before and after me. The establishment was very clean and I didn't see any food bits dropped in other foods. In fact the hot foods had steam rising and the cold foods looked very fresh. Quite appealing, and the portions were generous. The sweet tea was sweet. I'd say it was at the top of sweet, sweet tea. Next time I might try non sweet. Also at the tea and drink counter is a salsa bar. Nice. Though everything was clean I'd like to see the plastic utensils not have plastic wrap sleeves on them. Each individual utensil and straw had plastic wrap. While it keeps germs away, that's a lot of extra trash. But again the place was very clean. I'd like to come back and try their veggie bowls too. Cost was about $10 but at Chili's or Glory Days , you have to tip whether your service and meal were good or bad. Here I didn't have to tip and I had control over what and how much I wanted. Sad to say I'm done going to any Moe's ever again. The cheese was horrible, no more cucumbers, limited toppings, and the meats are so low quality now compared to early days of Moe's. The chips even were bland and paper wafer tasting. The salsa bar is terrible, no more Kaiser salsa? That was a signature of Moe's. Also for this location specifically, learn how to wrap a burrito. Dude, for a Tex mex place, that's pretty sad. It was a mess.
