Had my favorite skinny margarita with a shot of Grand Marnier on top, sizzling beef fajitas with ALL the fixens and bottomless chips with salsa!! An awesome way to start the weekend! My honest opinion. My server was great. But the food Nasty. I'm sorry but it is.. best thing is the warm chips they bring you. You may say sure looks like you enjoyed your food.. hell anyone would coming off 24 hr water fast. And I broke my fast for this place. Welll I'll begin with the salsa no favor taste like can tomato's with a hint of something spicy. The beans also taste like the can they can out of , didn't taste any pork fat which real Mexican restaurants use. Beef was ok but dripping in oil. The quesadilla was just a quesadilla nothing special just beef and cheese no tomatoes no pico de gallo on the side no sour cream just meat and cheese the enchilada yuck I can't even describe it. Overall, we've visited two locations in Cinco De Mayo. The food is consistent, solid, and good. 1. Their salsa (my go-to for South American cuisine) is good but not great. 2. The Guacamole was very good. 3. Overall, the food was good! It is funny, but we actually tried three different parts of their menu. We had Enchiladas, a burrito bowl, and carne asada. Each of them was perfectly prepared, and the extra instruction to not include Sour Cream was respected. (that wasn't me, asking for no sour cream). Overall a solid addition to the lineup! I came here with a group of friends along with our kids. We loved the hospitality of the staff and great service of the bar tender but we weren't satisfied with the food we ordered . We had ordered fish tacos , chicken bowl and a fajita bowl . Honestly, it wasn't exceptional rather mediocre. Taste was bland and I have eaten better Mexican food at a cheaper prices at other places. We ordered Churros with ice cream and a flan. Flan was okayish and churros were very hard. It felt like they werent made fresh and were microwaved . It was really not upto the taste. read more

This place it terrible. My husband and I just orders about an hour ago, I ordered cheese enchiladas and a bean burrito. My enchiladas are mushy from the water like "sauce". It's not even a soupy consistency it's straight water. I knew from the looks I was going to hate it, but still gave it a chance. I take the first bite and it's all American cheese ! Same thing with the burrito, it was served rolled like a taco so the beans and cheese where all over the place. Got the mix 'n match tacos both times...got chori-pollo, carne asada, and Al pastor the first night and tried the carnitas instead of Al pastor the second night...all were fantastic and looking forward to going back next week when I return. Decided to try it one more time at the request of my friend. Same server who was amazing (if you're reading this, you should go somewhere else that's busy where you'll make more money - keep up the amazing work). Friend got carne asada and the steak was completely raw - they clearly don't know how to prepare steak. I got the chicken quesadilla and the chicken was dry and the tortilla was a greasy mess. This is Taco Bell with a fancy name. Disgusting food for the price. We used to say "at least the drinks are good". No more!! What was supposed to be a frozen margarita, we literally received a large glass of water with ice and a bottle of corona inside. Zero tequila. Seriously, WTF!!! One can see the Staff is not happy and the waiters have this very indifferent attitude towards the customers. The place was looking very drab and dusty, floor was not swept and the bathroom was grossly unkept. In a larger city the health department would be all over this place. This place is average. We were lucky to get a nice waitress (long brown hair). Although even my 9-year old daughter spotted another waitress literally sneering and eye-rolling at customers and other staff members! Regardless of the staffing, the food and drink was very fast! I was a bit disappointed about having my salad dressing served still in its KRAfT packaging but the salad was otherwise good! The shrimp served in addition was not overly spicy or overlooked! I'd have to agree that the salsa tasted as though it came from a can but they made up for it with the guacamole, which was obviously homemade and not too salty like others I have tasted! My kids loved their quesadillas as well! I think with a few small adjustments, this place could be a repeat visit but for now, I will be going to the new Mexican restaurant in Clarksburg! read more

I would say to stay away from this restaurant. Two of my family members got food poisoning after eating there.

Really hoped yelp reviews were worse than it was. Nope. Worst Mexican I have ever eaten. Queso with ground beef was likely watered down white cheese food. No taste of cheese. Enchiladas were barely warm. Believe enchilada sauce was a straight pour from the old El Paso can. Corn tortillas - not flour- were barely warm, thick, pasty - not good. Partners fajitas had beef that looked like how you shred beef to tiny pieces to hide the fat and toughness. Watered down drinks. Price was high for poor quality. Service was minimal. Incredibly warm weather out for this time of year so a clue that the outdoor seating only had 1 party and only 2 other tables with guests inside on a Friday night. Very high ceilings -- into the kitchen view wouldn't normally be considered. However, booth view in main area showed inside kitchen had ladders, main storage including an unused garbage can on top shelf, and yellow ceiling tiles near vents. Not horrible but not appropriate dining view. Put a door or curtain there! Table for two near phone/POS station looked like floor hadn't been touched in weeks - as in not used, not cleaned. For as little as I ate, indigestion. Taco Bell would be more satisfying, and cheaper. read more

This place is the absolute worst! Every single time I order from them, they're never competent enough to get the order right. I guess this is only my fault for continuing to think that "this time they might get it right". I tried calling then for about 35 minutes straight to place an order and one of their "highly trained" staff kept picking up the phone pressing buttons (I assume they thought they were putting the call on hold) then hanging up. Nothing but morons working here. Don't waste your time coming here. The only reason they have business is because they're the ONLY "Mexican" restaurant in the area. I hate to pan newly opened restaurants. But I was there as a party of 1. Plus tip$30. I ordered fish tacos and a house margarita ($10.00). The salsa that arrived with the chips tasted like tomato sauce with some seasoning. As I work at the giant right there I do know they came in the other day to get supplies from us....not unheard of. My husband and I went last weekend for their "soft opening". We too had been waiting a long time for it to open. It was warm so we sat outside. I had the frozen margarita that was very tasty and huge. It cost $10. We had the complimentary chips and salsa which were good. I had the avocado and shrimp salad and husband got the chicken chipotle bowl. My salad could have had more greens other than just a little iceberg lettuce but the shrimp were cooked perfectly and the avocado was yummy. My husband liked his dinner but said it wasn't great. The service was less than spectacular. It took a while to even get waited on. It was crowded and everyone new of course. Overall was tasty and pretty satisfying. Expect it will get even better. This is a mid meal review. I am glad they are finally open. It is Saturday night and they are busy. The margaritas are large and average but there is a huge variety and it is too early to be completely objective. The beef Super Burrito is flavorful from the beef to the onions and peppers with complementary sides. Definitely a healthy serving. The sevice it good and timely without being obtrusive. The worst food and service our family has ever experienced! Not worth a visit. The restaurant is over priced and shouldn't be in business! Our order was wrong and when I called to let them know "Chris " immediately started to argue and then hung up. I was very surprised and when I called back I was pretty angry at the treatment and the fact that he argued and hung up...we had words( although he argued over anything I wanted to say not allowing me to talk) and he hung up again accusing me of cussing. The whole situation was pretty unbelievable!!! I do plan to report them to their corporate offices and write reviews on any and every site available to warn any potential customers. The best description of this place is Bland. The salsa was very uniform (run through a blender?) and very mild and tomato. I had the fijita texanna with steak, chicken, and shrimp. Again the meats had no flavor, could not taste any fijita seasoning. The tortillas were fresh and tasty. My wife got the chicken enchiladas and had the same experience. The chicken had no flavor. The only saving grace was the crema sauce which was good. I will state that this is during their soft opening and am hopeful things will improve. Small establishment with pleasant and accommodating staff. Food needs a little more care. Nachos come with shredded iceberg lettuce, cheese and "stewed" tasting shredded chicken etc. Wasn't appetizing to look at and the taste blend wasn't something you may crave. Tacos came underdressed with just the flour taco & meat. Requested cheese which isn't already an option along with sour cream. Received a side of blazing hot red sauce (beware...it's really outrageously hot and should be offered with a waiver, in my opinion). Rice tasted commercial...maybe like a box of Goya rice (which I enjoy...at home). Although staff is friendly, the establishment is so small, it's no where for them to stand-in-wait except in a tiny hall way leading to the restrooms..which is only one stall per Sex. I would like to see more plate presentation and quality taste. I believe this will promote and maintain foot travel. Side Note: The bar drink was delicious. Don't allow parents to leave kiddie items outside the door. It's unattractive and messy. read more

Went in on Father's Day for a quick lunch and was pretty disappointed. When we first ordered drinks my Dad asked for his beer with a lemon, not a lime. Came with a lime. Another guest ordered a titos with ginger ale and got just a ginger ale. The server didn't seem to actually care to listen to what we were trying to order. Two of us ordered the steak fajitas which came out STONE COLD. I totally understand that they have to use paper because of the current restrictions but the fajitas were freezing when we got them. Another person in our group order the flautas and they were average at best. When my dad asked for second beer, this time stating "with a lemon this time" the beer still came out with a lime. Having been a server for many years through college, the lack of attention to detail by our server really bothered me. All-in-all we ordered 4 beers, 1 ginger ale (without titos), 2 COLD steak fajitas, 1 order of flautas and 1 taco - with tip - which I still left 18% despite the bad service, our check was over $100. Way over priced for the extremely lack-luster experience. I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 because I did enjoy the chips and salsa. I wont be back. read more
