Wilcom's Inn offers a different and delicious brunch, their Peruvian and American fusion brunch served tapas style is a phenomenal idea and I am here for it. Everything I've tried in the few times I've been there has been delicious, made fresh and consistently delicious! Their Shrimp Linquini A la Rosa is the best thing! But they have so many other good things like the poached eggs, the mini empanadas, the cream of crab soup, the dress leches cake and more! You will certainly find something you like! Service is also always attentive, friendly and they know exactly when they should strike a conversation or not. Brunch at Wilcom's Inn was a fun and impressive experience. For $45 per person, it's an all-you-can-eat brunch served tapas style, which I personally love because it lets you sample many different dishes without committing to just one big plate. I have eaten here several times in the past two years. Every plate, every dish has been delicious and very well prepared. This is a kitchen that knows how to create a variety of dishes that are not simple or trivial. The sauces are very well done, the noodles are always done nicely, heck -- they now how to cook, and they execute really well on every dish. I have had seafood, beef, and all kinds of dishes here that have always come out and satisfied !!! This is a rural gem worthwhile getting to know. And the cocktails are professional. The wines list is pretty darn good. Specials are great. The 5 star rating is for location (accessible to me), quality of find and drink, and the absolutely decent price (punches above its weight). This is a smallish restaurant so reservations are recommended. The staff was very friendly. I heard they just changed ownership so there have been some challenges there. The menu is intriguing and deliciously curated. The dining area is cozy but fancy at the same time. The food is really good and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Our table has the burrata caprese salad, wedge salad, stuffed shrimp, shrimp scampi, shrimp and grits, stuffed flounder and spinach pesto linguine. We all enjoyed our dishes and I was impressed. This quaint restaurant is located at the old 75 and 80 drag strip. The restaurant has been reimagined from the no frills roadhouse it used to be for several decades. With limited seating, reservations are highly recommended. The menu has a range of options but a nice focus on Peruvian. The wine, beer, and cocktail selection offer plenty of options. The service was attentive but not pushy. We started with the Boom-Boom shrimp. The order comes with 12 small shrimp with a light breading that fell off easily. The pink Peruvian sauce lacked the bold flavors I expected. The seafood stir fry was surprisingly tasty and a generous serving. Shrimp, calamari, scallops with vegetables, in a Peruvian red sauce with jasmine rice. My wife and I came here for New Year's Eve and had such a wonderful time we came back for Valentine's Day AND came back the next day for brunch! Wilcom's Inn is a unique spot; plopped in the middle of Nowheresville where Rte. 80 hits Rte. 75 and is a cozy little building with a modest sized white table cloth dining room and an even "modester" bar area (which you walk through to get to the dining room!), giving a vibe as a haven to those close enough to regular the joint. Alas, new ownership is a delightful family affair with at least three in the family hosting or serving every shift, it seems. The result is very attentive and accountable service at every turn. I'm not one to go into the details of food items, but safe to say that with specialty menus for each meal we enjoyed, my wife and I sampled a whole lot of different flavors and were pleased with all of it, including dessert! In a nutshell, you'll have to try pretty hard to NOT have a good experience at Wilcom's with its welcoming feel, outstanding service and fairly-priced delicious choices. The food and service were excellent and the price was reasonable. I've been wanting to try this place for years and last night we finally got the chance. We went for their Christmas Eve dinner and it was fantastic! Five courses for $55. We don't drink so didn't do the wine pairing but they had four mocktail options. The service was attentive but not intrusive. Even though the space was small, it wasn't overly loud and we could have a normal conversation. The food was outstanding! Really interesting flavor profiles, and we enjoyed every bite. Had a wonderful bottle of wine with dinner so b ought 2 bottles to go. When we got home and opened the bottles both had turned. A bottle was close to $70. I called to ask for a credit and they told me I couldn't get a credit or return because they were opened. I tried to explain that the only way I would know they were bad was to open them. The logic failed. We went back and forth. They wouldn't offer any credit even a restaurant credit. Needless to say that was our last visit. Too many nice restaurants around. Watched other tables being waited on. Watched 4 girls by a register in the corner just standing around. This place was very unorganized with little management directing whatever was happening. So, the location used to be a biker bar many years ago. The new owners renovated it and it is now a great restaurant. 1. They have Allagash Beer on tap (Allagash White, to be exact) my personal favorite Belgium White in the US (made in Maine) 2. we had scallops and grits as an appetizer. Wow. 3. We each had different entrees. I went with the filet, covered in blue cheese butter with mashed potatoes. My wife had the chicken pasta. 4. we both had a salad I had a wedge and she had the garden greens. Overall the food was beyond amazing. Parking was a pain, but the food was so good I wouldn't take a star for horrible parking. Their take on the wedge salad was amazing. The steak was perfectly prepared to medium rare. This unassuming location houses an intimate restaurant and bar. The food is top notch with excellent flavors. For the first time in many years, I had cream of crab soup which was gluten free -- that's not something regularly available at restaurants. The only thing I would "critique" is that it could have had more crabmeat but the overall flavor was delicious. The shrimp tacos had a combination of flavors that I couldn't get enough of! We have been going there for years, this last visit will be our last. The quality and customer service has gone downhill while prices rise. We waited over 90 minutes for our food with not a single acknowledgment of the delay until we received the bill then there was an apology for the delay. We were told they upgraded their meat to prime but it was the worst meal we have ever had there. So incredibly disappointing for a place we frequented often. This would have never happened under the previous owners, maybe a delay but an honest reason why and an attempt to make it right but that no longer exists. read more

I've been here twice--and both times, the food was great! The all-you-can-eat brunch (that I tried before Covid) was fantastic. I haven't had it recently, so I'd like to try it again. I recently went to lunch with some ladies. Once again, the food was great. The place is unassuming. (I remembered it from its former days as a biker bar.) The only thing that could be improved in the dining room was that there was a speaker playing music right above our table. First time here, tried the brunch. It's tapas style, all you can eat for $40 (with tax). I had: Empanadas * Eggs (sunny side) * Deviled eggs * Bacon * Coconut shrimp Boom boom shrimp Crab cake * Waffles with chicken Waffles with berries Tres leches The ones with stars were the only things I liked. When you're ordering, they are small servings (except the bacon), so get a few. Empanadas are filled with beef, olives and raisins. Crab cakes are small balls fried. The waffles on both dishes were over cooked, so the waffle was too dry/crunchy and scrapped the roof of my mouth. The chicken is just very small nuggets that were overcooked and fried. Coconut shrimp was okay, came two shrimps to an order. The boom boom shrimp I've never had, but was deep fried and had a sauce on it. It didn't look good (again, overfried). For the price, it could at least come with coffee. The food wasn't that great. Also, didn't like seeing all the greasy fingerprints on the sides of the plates. This one didn't make the cut for me. I order the green beans, & shrimp scampi. For starters, this was a takeout order. The green beans come topped with red onions and what looked like garlic. I think the onions really took over the flavor of the juices. The string beans were very potent with a sour taste every time I went back for more. The shrimp scampi is a butter and garlic based pasta, but every bite was a tad bitter. I've had these same dishes with similar ingredients applied but unfortunately, this one didn't make the mark for me. read more

Wilcoms is one of the only "holy grail" restaurants still around in this area. The servers are wonderful, the food is great and always fresh high quality control here. We love the bartender and appreciate the local people and banter. This restaurant was an old biker bar that turned into semi- fine dining. Sunday brunch done right in the middle of a cute country road! This quaint little place offers a tasting menu of several options. We tried a lot of seafood dishes today and were not disappointed. The boom boom shrimp and maple sriracha shrimp were chef's kiss. The French toast was too oily, the waffle was excellent, yuca fries were crispy, the guac/salsa with chips can be skipped and the fish taco was fresh. Their service was very friendly and homely. I drove by this spot several times and finally decided to go because I heard great things about their food! My first thought was why didn't I go sooner! Not only was the service great, the food is great! It's all you can eat Sunday brunch which is great because the selection is amazing and you get to taste everything! The Peruvian fish and Yucca fries were outstanding. The cowboy ribeye was ok. The cut did not seem to live up to the price (over $30). You were afforded a choice of three sauces for your steak and the mushroom sauce I expected to be on the steak when it arrived and not brought later in a little bowl. The Peruvian spicy fried rice tasted like a chicken fried rice you would find at a Chinese restaurant. We had bruschetta as appetizers and they were very good. The service was absolutely the worst I have ever had from a waiter. Not being very familiar with Peruvian food, I asked what spices make up Peruvian food and he said just the spices. I guess any food that has spices can be identified as Peruvian per the waiter. Unfortunately we were not quite ready to order at that point and asked for more time and about 30 minutes later after pleading with the busboy a couple of times that we were ready to order, our waiter decided to take our order. Would I come back for the food - definitely. However, why would I come back here to be treated rudely by a waiter. There are other restaurants with good food that treat me far better. I just wish i would have snagged more pics, but damn i was just too mesmerized by the incredible presentation and the flavor bombs just blew me away! For $9.95 add the bottomless mimosas or Bloody Mary's or even the sangria. Although not truly bottomless, it's an additional $2 for each one after the $9.95, but totally worth it because these aren't tiny versions. Four of us had dinner here a few nights ago. It was delicious. We had pasta and shrimp, a filet, a ribeye, and a hamburger. The steaks were excellent! The hamburger and the pasta were good. The side dishes were very good as well. Their wine choices were good and the cost of their liquor was very reasonable. The service was good, but we had to wait too long between courses. I drive by this place when ever I am heading back home from work. The outside gave me an uneasy feeling based in its location. However, I was proven wrong today when I was invited out to brunch by my wonderful colleagues. The inside is small but lively. The service is superb! Our waiter David kept our food and drinks coming back to back and he kept the table laughing. There was four of us at the table, I ordered the mussels, purevian rice and seafood saute, chips with guac, old bay steamed shrimp, mac and cheese and ended it off with some waffles with sweetened fruits. Every dish I order was cooked well! I honestly wanted to continued to order, but I had a feeling my table wouldn't have gotten restless. The inn has two entrances one for the bar and one for the dinning room. When I walked in I was greeted automatically, no searching for a hostess, one was already there. I found my table and thanked her. It was crowded but I didn't feel it, but it was loud.
