I called The Cinderella Company after I was referred by the City Of Pacifica's Chamber Of Commerce. My girls were amazed with the sighting of "The Real Princess Anna and Queen Elsa" at our local tree lighting ceremony in Rockaway Beach this last Christmas! My daughter Layla was turning Four and my daughter MiaBella is 9 years old. They are mesmerized with the beautiful Frozen story which depicts a very real story about how it doesn't take "a man" to be the reason your life becomes a "Happy Ending!" I had originally booked Jasmine for a particular Saturday when our whole family got the stomach flu two days before the party. The Cinderella Company was able to move our booking to the following weekend without any hassel. Hannah called me on schedule two days prior to the new party date and went over every detail. The Cinderella Company has done it again! We hired a Rapunzel last year and she was amazing. This year we went with Pocahontas, and again...we're so happy!! My daughter was so excited when she saw Pocahontas show up at her party. Not only did Pocahontas (Ashley) do story time with the kids, but she sang all the Pocahontas songs! And she sounded just like her. Then she followed up with really awesome face paintings for our guests. She was happy to take photos with everyone (even the adults). This company has a mass of great reviews so I think it must have simply been a bad day for them but for me i felt they were unprofessional, unhelpful and a bit useless, and that was before we even organised the party. I called and left a voicemail. No one called. I then filled in their online form saying that I was thinking of a certain character but could someone kindly left me know if a party could be organised for a specific date for my daughter and then, if yes, I would consider the character. I got a reply within 10 mins saying The Cinderella Company - "Thank you for your interest in The Cinderella Co. We unfortunately do not have any of the xxxxxxxxx characters. Sincerely, Terri Reynolds" Me emailing back - "Hi Terri, Thank you for the email. We're fine to choose a different character but would someone be available on xxxxxx to come to Cupertino for a 90 min party? Thank you!" We hired Julie as Belle and she was AMAZING!!!! One day before the event, Julie called me to confirm the booking and go over the logistics. We just had my daughter's 5th "FROZEN themed birthday party" hosted at home. I talked to Cinderella Company two months ago and booked Andrea as Elsa and Chelsea as Anna since they look fantastically together. Cinderella Company did tell me that it is with possibility to change the entertainer last minute due to the sickness or schedule conflicts of the performer. I was worried they would change since I really wanted to have the best reviewed and looking performers, it was why I booked earlier and signed the contract. Three days before my party, they contacted me to say that Elsa will be changed to another performer "Jane". I was very concerned as I didn't see any reviews on her, worried about her experience. I was very upset with the company since I did feel they would change performer as they emphasized with "possibility". It seems we have no control in this and can't even be sure that who we picked would show up. However, Chelsea called me the day before to go over details. A very very nice and sweet lady, who talked very professionally. I could tell she is good at kids and know what she is doing. I was very happy with the call. The day, both of them showed up on time. All of us were amazed by the way they dressed up and performed. Elsa (Jane), she looked stunning!!! she is so pretty in person. She is perfect to be queen Elsa. Her costume and hair are both perfect. She is just a really pretty princess. I was extremely happy to see her, and all my guests commended on how I was able to find a beautiful Queen Elsa like Jane. The party has come and gone and now it's time for an update. Ariel (Catherine) was amazing!! She arrived early and called me from her car that she parked around the corner so none of the girls would see her. I asked if she would sign a Little Mermaid book before she walked over to the party and present it to my daughter as a gift from her. My daughter felt extra special and was thrilled to be given the book. All the little girls were amazed that Ariel was there and quickly gathered around her wanting to talk to her. We gathered everyone up and Catherine started telling her story. It was awesome and so fun to watch. Catherine's voice is beautiful and it caused the parents to stop chatting. I wish I could post my video of it. Everyone was just intently watching. Catherine did a fabulous job making sure that the birthday girl felt special! After story time Catherine did tattoos for each of the girls. We opted to do tattoos rather than face painting since we had a giant water slide. The girls all did arts and crafts and Catherine was right there watching and interacting with them all. A few of the girls even painted seashells for Catherine to take with her. We ended the party with singing Happy Birthday! We were fortunate enough to be able to see Ariel in her mermaid costume as well as her beautiful blue ball gown. (She had another party after ours that was booked for the Ariel on land outfit.) The quality of the costumes and wigs are exceptional! You would have thought it was straight out of Disneyland. So many of the parents commented on how great Catherine was and that she was one of the best performers they had seen at a kids birthday party! This review is a bit overdue. I would like to compliment both Catherine and Ashley Lynn. They attended my daughter's birthday celebration as Elsa (Catherine) and Anna (Ashley). From the very beginning, both girls were wonderful to work with. I received a phone call a few days before the party and we discussed what was to be done at the party and how to make a memorable experience for my daughter and her friends. They also called me ten minutes before the party to let me know that they were down the street so I was able to remove all the children from the bounce house. The girls both did a great job is telling the "Frozen" story and incorporating music along the way... and must I say, these girls can really belt some tunes out! They were amazing!!! Everyone in the room was in complete awe of these two wonderful actresses. They were also very personable and friendly with all the children and adults. Parents are still talking about my daughter's birthday. The magic show part was great and they both did beautiful face painting. We are already planning on adding Christoph to the party next year. Usually when I throw a party, I like to find ways to keep the kids distracted so I can finish last-minute party details and talk to my friends. For my daughter's fourth birthday party I wanted to try something different, but I couldn't visualize a musician or child entertainer who could captivate a range of kids from 8 months to 9 years old. After some research and reading the reviews, I settled on the Cinderella Company and had no regrets. Pretty much the hardest part of the process was deciding which character should come to my daughter's party. (My daughter kept rotating favorite princesses, but she finally settled on Tinker Bell a week or two before her birthday.) Once we communicated our decision, everything fell in place. Ari was our Tinker Bell, and not only was she punctual and professional, but she definitely could have passed as Tinker Bell at Disneyland. Her costume and wig were spot-on, and she never once broke character. My guests - parents and kids alike - were captivated, and I was actually sorry I couldn't sit around to enjoy the show. Which actually brings me to my next point - while your character is creating a world of make-believe and enchantment, don't forget you still have to play host and make sure everything runs on schedule. On the day before the party, Ari called to review logistics and finalize how she would spend 90 minutes at the party: * The first 30 minutes were spent telling stories and talking about her "friends in Pixie Hollow." * The second 30 minutes were spent getting lunch and faces painted * The final 30 minutes were then spent posing for pictures, singing the birthday song and passing out cupcakes I also had Ari give the birthday girl a "present from Tinker Bell" which was - surprise! - a Tinker Bell dress. Anyway, be warned that those 90 minutes pass quick and you will need to plan things out so you can still enjoy your party and take lots of pictures.
