I used to visit the salon a long time ago and never had any problems, I do not know what happened. I went in here to have a full set done with a pedicure. From the beginning the woman, I believe her name is Becky, but I can't be sure, did the worst job. I had to remind her to put a topcoat on my pedicure. This should've been the moment I said she wasn't doing my nails, but that was my mistake. I asked for almond shaped nails, I literally showed her the picture with the color. I asked for DND and they said they didn't have it, but they did. So weird. Anyway, she starts to do my nails and she makes them stiletto. I did not show her a picture of sharp pointed nails, I've showed her a picture of rounded nails. Then she put them on all wonky. I spent way too long telling her she was doing it wrong. So, she starts to take off the stilettos to put on new almond shaped and she type the nails that were wrong down to where my fingernail was and left the base of the nail on my nail. So basically she was putting another nail tip on top of the nail tip attached to my finger. I can't even explain it it was so dumb. She literally either doesn't know how to do her job or doesn't want to do her job, but either way she didn't do her job. In conclusion, my nails immediately started lifting, these were brand new nails on top of nails that hadn't been done in a year. There's no reason for lifting ever. Do not go here, you will regret every penny that you spend. read more

There color selection was just okay. The lady was very nice that did my pedicure but I did notice when I got home that the gel polish was a little lumpy on one of my big toes. I happened to be in Pearland and while the reviews State an appointment is preferred, I took my chances as a walk in for dips. They got me in right away. First, the color choices will blow your mind. There are SO MANY to choose from and if I wasn't a boring ballerina pink nail kind of girl, I would have had a hard time narrowing down! Tracey was my tech and was SUCH a perfectionist! She wanted everything to be exactly right. The appointment ran a bit long because of that, but I didn't mind at ALL, especially when she ended with a cuticle trim and arm massage! SO, so pleased. Will definitely be driving back from Sienna. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the prices are not clearly posted. The girl next to me described what she wanted and showed a picture to her tech. He had already started working on her when he told her that the french dip powder was more...and the oval shape she was requested was more...and her eyes kept getting wider because she was already committed. The ambience in the salon is top notch. There are numerous pedi message chairs. A great selection of nail colors to choose from. Private rooms for waxing and lashes. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I received the best pedi from Tracy. My experience was enjoyable and relaxing. The chairs are spacious so I didn't have to sit my purse on the floor or hang it Form the arm rests. They have TVs on but they aren't distracting from the atmosphere. Highly recommend! So my mom and I went here on Friday the pictures was taken on Sunday. The nail tech I had was more focused on trying to upscale and I guess because I said no, he figured he would give me a half pedicure. I thought something was weird because he didn't use the grater to get off the dead skin. He also didn't spend much time on my cuticles like other places. I thought the bottom of my ankle was soft until a course my feet dried and I still had rough skin. I won't be back here. I mean you can't keep showing so loudly we're only worth our money but not to receive good service. For $35 I could've went by Circle K and got a good pedicure plus a massage. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your establishment, Cinderella Nails and Spa (Kirby Location). Unfortunately, it was one where professionalism and effective communication were largely absent. I would like to highlight a specific issue regarding incorrect record keeping, poor customer service and incompetent front desk employees. Contrary to what was noted in my customer profile. I was accused of habitually canceling appointments- three to be exact, when I have only made two appointments with Ken. One that he actually did my nails and the one I am referring to now. I arrived early (3:30pm) for a 4pm appointment, only to be told that the person I made an appointment for- Ken, was unavailable. When I asked to speak to him directly to find out why- he approached with an attitude. I asked why he would not be available for my appt (which I was early for) and he stated that I "always book with Gina" and that I cancelled three times and he noted my account. I expressed that he may be confusing me with someone else, and that he was wrong but he was adamant that it was me. If this was true why was I never confronted...on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd alleged occurrence? Also, if he did put a note in the file why would the front desk rep make an appointment for me? The treatment I received from your staff member, Ken, was quite disappointing. He exuded a disagreeable demeanor that detracts from the warm and welcoming environment one would expect at a nail salon. Moreover, it was disappointing to find out that Ken posted notes in my customer file about these allegations without my knowledge, let alone he NEVER addressed me directly about these so-called 'issues'. As a paying customer, I do not believe that this is a fitting manner in which to handle matters. Everyone deserves respect and courtesy, and unfortunately, I did not receive that at your salon. Due to these unfavorable interactions, I feel compelled to confirm that I will NEVER step foot in Cinderella Nail Salon or spend another dime there! In spite of the aforementioned incidents, I would like to commend Gina for her work. She performs her work with finesse and professional aptitude. Regrettably, her excellent services have been overshadowed by the issues encountered with your front desk operations. It underlines the importance of ensuring your staff is competent and equipped with the right skills to manage customers effectively. Adding insult to injury, the need for me to drive more than 20 minutes to your location resulted in unnecessary waste of my time. Customer experience, especially in the beauty industry, should entail relaxing and professional experiences. Regrettably, mine was far from such. For future reference: ask questions, rather than making accusations as you were WRONG and have now lost a customer. I hope that you take these matters seriously to prevent other customers from experiencing similar displeasure. read more

I had an appointment at 1pm. After 15-30 minutes and watching them take a walk-in... I found out they practiced sex discrimination when I asked the receptionist why I wasn't being assisted. She explained that it's their policy: I'm male and they only allow female technicians to work on males. I asked her if she realized that was sex discrimination - and she gave some excuse but said it was not. Imagine if there were no females working... they would have told me they don't serve male clients... After 30 minutes, the female technician working was able to provide me service. The mani/pedi nail service was fine. The picture I have uploaded was the unprofessional and unsanitary receptionist eating at the front. This location is my least favorite. I live about 5 minutes away from the Kirby location but I'll just continue driving to Pearland pkwy or Baybrook. Today I had an appointment for 5:30, they reached out and asked me to come at 6. I made it there 2 minutes late and the front desk lady let me know no one was available but they would be with me in a minute. I waited until 6:24 and left. I decided to try a new nail salon being that my usual salon is located near my job and I work from home now. This place is 5 Star! The experience here is professional, facilities are clean and pratices are sanitary , all of the staff I have encountered are nice and polite. I received the best pedi I've ever had today with Ken. Honey he took his time on my feet and it didn't feel rushed at all. The foot massage was amazing. For my nails I needed a refill but also wanted to change the shape of my nails to round in which Ken did beautifuly without having to do a soak off and new set. Called to make an appointment at this nail salon today. Didn't have much luck and was totally confused by the end of the phone call. I called today June 27th to make an appointment for July 8th. I requested that my dip manicure and shellac pedicure be done at the same time. She told me that they can't guarantee that. I didn't understand why considering I was calling ahead to make an appointment. She told me they are not sure if people will be available at that time, again although I was making an appointment. Then she told me I had to pick a nail tech in order to make the appointment. I told her that I would be a first time customer and I've never been to this business so I didn't know who to choose. She told me it was their policy that they couldn't choose because they would be referring someone and they couldn't do that. I tried my best to communicate to her that I couldn't pick a person that I had no clue who they were considering I have never been to this nail salon. I then asked to speak to a manager, she said he wasn't in. I asked for his name, she said she wasn't allowed to give it out. I told her if the service is this poor over the phone, I can only imagine what it is in person and I would just try another nail salon. She told me that was fine and I probably should. Looking from the outside in the building it looks nice and I had high hopes on coming and making this my new weekly place for manicure and pedicure but wasn't even able to make an appointment over the phone. I would give this place a 0 if i could. Danny, the guy doing my nails was absolutely so rude and so aggressive with my hands. The entire time he was forcing my hands in ways so aggressive when all other nail salons i have been to, NEVER are that aggressive. I tried telling him MULTIPLE times that my nails were different lengths, which they were, and he would just tell me "oh they are fine" "oh they are the same." Was $60 when i got up to the front for BASIC solid color and basic shape. While my friend who got the exact same thing as me, was only $55. I asked why there was a difference and was told it was because "we had different shapes." Our were the same. This was my first visit to Cinderella Nails & Spa Kirby. I went in on a Wednesday @3:15pm and it was empty besides one other woman (I went there specifically during non-peak hours for peace and relaxation). I needed a pedicure (bad) and the woman at the front welcomed me in and asked me to choose a color. The sweet woman who did my pedicure (forgot her name) introduced herself and asked me to sit when I was ready. She did a great job and I briefly fell asleep twice, thorough massage and attention to detail. The only downside of my visit was when I decided to get a manicure with no polish, she accidentally cut me twice, which is pretty painful the next few days. She also did not buff the surface of my nails, I did not notice this until after I left; had I gotten polish this would have been a necessity, so I assume it was simply overlooked. Overall the place was extremely clean, easy communication, great color selection, a very nice staff, and they have a rewards program. The next time I need a manicure or pedicure I will return, and just pay more attention to the services. read more

The cuticle and dry skin was remaining on my nails even after the whole manicure and pedicure. The Shellac was painted over my cuticle and peeled up within days after. Came here for a full set on November 3rd. On November 24th, a nail popped off and there was discoloration on my nail. I decided to take a nail off on the opposite side to ensure I wasn't crazy. Still major discoloration. I went into the nail shop to speak to a manager to ask if this was fungus. He wasn't present so he called me and his response was, "I don't know what you want me to do at this point." I will NEVER set foot back in this establishment and give them another dime from me. I wish I could give 0 stars. This was the worst experience ever! I paid for the Volcanic pedicure. He read a box for instructions of what to do. I guess he didn't know how to do what they offered. He didn't allow me to soak for not even 5 minutes. No time was spent removing calluses. The whole experience was rushed. He massaged my legs for about a couple of minutes. The stones weren't even hot. I paid for shellac on my toes. He ended up putting about 10 coats on each toe and the shellac is uneven and blotchy. I'm so disappointed. I've been to the Pearland Parkway location but wanted to try something closer to home. I would not recommend anyone patronizing them until qualified people are hired. Got a giftcard and decided to check it out. Was pretty disappointed. Only had two nail techs and did mani first and then pedi. I'm used getting both done by two nail techs at the same time. Saves time. Was not busy at all.. you would think that is good but I see why. They ripped my old acrylic off instead of soaking... after I told them I didn't want tip still tried to give me tips. They put shellac on my toes and charged me even though I said not shellac. The customer service was not that great. One customer came in and asked to have a nail fixed and it was a hassle. The prices are a little more expensive than what I'm used to paying as well. They have a bar but you have to pay for them. My experiences have been complementary drinks such as wine and mimosas and non alcoholic beverages. At least they have complementary non alcoholic items. My nails came out nice overall but 2.5 hours later and the overall experience I would not recommend. read more

It is a very nice, fast paced salon. It has a nice atmosphere, the staff is professional and polite and they did a good on my nails! They are a little more expensive, a pedicure and full set of acrylics, with gel shellac, was $120 plus tip. A full set of acrylics for my oldest daughter and a little girls manicure for my youngest was $87 plus tip- that just seems pretty expensive but it's been a while since I've been to the nail salon so maybe this is standard now. Either way, they did a good job and were fast. Only reason I didn't go 5 stars was the price just seems a little high- otherwise nice place! read more
