Went there today and was very excited because they have a great selection. I am trying to build a…read morewalk way and need certain size stones. The guy inside told us to go out and he would send someone to help. The first guy that came out was nice and willing to help us get the stones we needed, shortly after another guy came out and told us we could not pick the stones we just got what was one top. I explained that I need large stones since I was making a walkway and he said nope you only get what is on top. We tried to talk to a manager, but there was none in and the guy working the inside said you can only get what we give you. I wasn't asking for a hand out, I was paying for a product, but it is crazy that they were telling me that this is what I get and that's it, it's my money I should be able to buy the product I want. If they want to conduct business like this, then at least separate it in to small, medium and large so people can get what they need. I ended up going to Design Outdoor and getting exactly what I need. They were so nice and helpful. I have many yard projects that I am doing and was excited to get product from Carson Masonry, but will never give them a cent.

I asked the yard Forman today if they had 2x4 and 2x6 Doug fir in stock and his response to me was he did not have a running inventory in his head...He was standing in front of the computer! I Have had terrible luck with my outside salesman not returning quotes and lack of professionalism. I don't feel he is interested in serving my very small construction company, And is only motivated to service his large buyers. There inventory is also very lacking. Meeks was always a lumber and hardware store with great inventory, And now is very lacking as far as hardware. They are not the only show in town anymore and should start acting like it!

We went to PR Supply for Waterproof LVP flooring because they were recommended. Also, we like to…read moreuse local small business when we can. PR Supply just sells the flooring, they use/recommend installers. It turned out the installer we used, his brother Shane Prouty, did not have a contractor's license (contracor's license is requiredl to install flooring in NV) and the installation, as proven by an inspector, was not done correctly. We went to PR Supply's owner, Wayne Prouty, for replacement but since the installers he uses are "independent contractors" PR Supply is not responsible. He told me he put a claim in to the manufacturer but the claim was denied because the flooring wasn't bad, the installation was bad. Consequently my Waterproof LVP is breaking between planks (obviously not waterproof) in 17 places in 6 different rooms. $23K and no one will take responsibility. Basically after being strung along for 14 months was told I'm SOL.

Called Carson Door for a quote along with how long on turn around, they said approximately a week. We dropped off the door and as promised in week we received a phone call stating the door was ready to be picked up, gal was friendly on the phone let me know their hours - woo-hoo that easy and went to pick up the door the following day!! Now we have a new door that not only fits well, it no longer has a gapping hole in it so fire safety restored along with our heating & cooling bill will be much better!! Friendly customer service and appointment recommend as they are currently requesting it.

Times are obviously good for Carson Door but perhaps you should lock your front door at the business and stop wasting "walk in" customers time who drive to your shop to buy doors from you!
