She does not explain or inform anything unless you ask her. It seems she just spend 2-3 mins with a patient .I would not recommend her.

ER stated it was important that I follow up with Rose after 2 days to recheck bloodwork with OB provider to ensure my low values were trending upwards. I followed up with Rose's office the following morning and received a message that I was scheduled for a follow up appointment with them. Upon arriving they could not find my appointment and I was very understanding and asked if I should schedule an appointment to see the doctor for a follow up. I was advised to go back to the ER (where I already spent $1k out of pocket) if I felt I needed to be seen. On my drive home I called to see if the provider recommended that I follow up with my GP until my appointment with Rose in May (the soonest they can schedule me). There were 3 receptionists in office and no one in the waiting room, yet I had to leave a voicemail and never received a follow up call or message. Suffice to say I followed up with my GP who listened to my concerns and went over my ER visit information and did follow up labs. I am now being seen by cardiology on an emergency referral due to heart palpitations and low potassium levels. I trusted this facility as they stated they are equipped to deal with high risk pregnancies, yet was dismissed when I tried to follow up based on doctor recommendation. I trusted these specialty providers to take care of me and my baby, and all trust has been lost. If they don't care about my health in my first trimester, surely I cannot trust that they will be able to ensure my safety, or even have concern for my well being, for the rest of my pregnancy or during birth. Shame on you.

I hadn't been in the office for quite a while and there have been a lot of changes, new suite, new staff, bigger in a lot of ways. I definitely missed the friendly/family style of the old front desk, now it's much more business/professional. Dr Gau made up for it though, I think she's taking over a lot of Dr Roses patients and I think Dr Rose chose well. Though I've only met Dr Gau once, she still made it a point to make it feel like she was happy to see me and has the same sort of interested, attentive, confident posture that Dr Rose has. I would highly recommend this office, because of Dr Rose and Dr Gau. I feel like they tend to be more conservative on their reccomendations and I feel like I'm receiving a more natural approach than I've seen elsewhere as well as very studied and thoughtful information

Getting a hold of someone whenever I have questions have never been easier. Not only do they pickup the phone call in a timely manner, but I was never in a longer hold. A few instances happened when they were busy, but that's understandable. I am always able to message them through my portal. Anything urgent, they are on top of it. Luckily I only had 2 events when this happened. From getting my labs to any test I needed, this clinic had been a breeze! I've called several other clinics before finding out about FOWH and the rest either never pickup or they're so disorganized and unhelpful during a phone consult. The sonographers that we've had were always kind, timely and helpful. We have had some questions and they're so wonderful in addressing them. Biggest shoutout to our Dr. Mitri. He is empathetic, highly knowledgeable and is just a good human being. He pays attention to every detail, he doesn't miss any question we have and he's very good at responding to our out-of-office messages/questions. His bedside manners are exceptional. He is respectful, has a good sense of humor and does his job really well. We're so happy to be a patient at FOWH and we appreciate the staff for being great! We look forward to every visit we have.

I then had to pay for an HSG and a hysteroscopy to assess the damage. I am indeed missing my right fallopian tube. I was told they'd reimburse me for those, but I'd have to submit it through insurance. I can't bring myself to go through this process. So I'm posting my experience as a warning to other women. This botched procedure was performed on NYE of 2024, and I still have pain. I still feel intense anger when I think about how the doctor chuckled that I'd still be able to get pregnant through IVF when I was crying that I was worried I'd never be able to get pregnant again.

Dr. Foong is very knowledgeable, professional, warm, and friendly, which made me feel comfortable and confident in his care from the beginning. Scheduling appointments is easy, and he always prioritizes pregnancy concerns. Having two offices in Arcadia and Alhambra and Saturday appointments is a huge plus, especially for working pregnant women. My whole pregnancy journey was beautiful. I felt safe and knew I was in the right hands. Terry, Rosa, and the entire administrative staff are very kind, professional, and always willing to listen to concerns. The labor and delivery experience was memorable and beautiful thanks to his care. My recovery and postpartum journey for both baby and me were smooth, fast, and successful. I will definitely come back to him for my future pregnancy. Highly recommend!

On the first day I was in hospital for scheduled induction, she had 24-hour duty, went home to sleep and didnt return till i was into 37 hours on Pitocin. She poked my water without my permission, and caused me infection and my baby heart rate dropped into dangerous situations where I could only accept C section. She scolded me not to cry before entering the operation room, not worthy of crying?! while my life and my baby's life were in her hands. Only for a couple hundred dollars more, she wants a surgery instead of natural birth. For an insurance covered procedure, she lied to me its cosmetic, I paid her cash and extra. Later, both Blue Shield and Optum confirmed she never billed. After I asked my money back, she claimed through insurance. Don't even think twice, go find another doctor.

She listens to your concerns, is extremely knowledgeable and has amazing bedside manner. Let's face it, no one jumps for joy over the idea of getting a pap - and some of us have had downright traumatic experiences in the past - but with Dr. Chang you can rest assured that it will be a breeze! It was over before I even knew it and it didn't even feel the least bit uncomfortable. She will also perform an ultrasound to ensure that your ovaries and uterus are structurally sound and there's no underlying issues which is a nice touch, especially since you don't need to schedule another visit solely for this as it's done in office by Dr.Chang herself! I'm so glad to have found her - a good OBGYN that makes you feel safe and comfortable is so hard to find these days but Dr. Chang is proof that they still exist!
