I've tried countless nail salons in the Westchester area, but this one truly stands out. This is my third visit, and every time I've left with nails that look flawless. I've had Karman twice and another nail tech once, both were excellent, but Karman really goes above and beyond. The environment here is so peaceful, no blaring music, no loud chatter back and forth, just a calm, relaxing space. It's spotless, with an impressive range of colors to choose from and high-tech equipment. Today I learned they even have AI assisted UV lamps, which is a game changer for those who want to protect the skin around their nails from harmful UV rays. What really makes this salon different is their attention to detail and genuine care for the health of your natural nails. I get SNS powder, and unlike most salons that aggressively drill it off, they only use a drill to remove the top layer, then switch to a hand file to gently remove the rest, keeping your nails strong and healthy. I've requested this at other salons, but have been told it "takes too long". Here, they use high-quality products and never skimp. Even better, Karman is patient, thoughtful, and just as invested in getting the shape and color perfect as if she were doing her own nails. I've never once felt rushed or like I was inconveniencing her for asking questions or making adjustments. This salon used to be a 5 star for me, but in the past 3-4 months service has really gone downhill. I make appointments, and then show up and the woman who was supposed to do my nails is busy and they have someone else do them. It's infuriating. All techs are not the same quality. They also refuse to make them the length or shape I want. They insist that longer is better, but when you are using your hands all day long nails chip and break. I've been a customer of Cindy's nails for 14 years! I've been to every location and love the service I receive every time! This new location is beautiful! The ambience is so relaxing and the decor is just as captivating as the Harrison and Rye locations. In my opinion it's a combination of both! The customer service is just as consistent as the service I've received at the other two salons. I find their customer service to be very attentive, communicative, caring, and patient. I also like that every customer gets treated the same despite their race and gender! This Salon here in Scarsdale is "nothing short of amazing" ! I highly recommend! Really liked this nail salon. Unfortunately had a bad experience. I had done a gel manicure with tips so the tips were glued to my real nails. When I got home I realized that there were large pieces of the tip of my real nails that were not correctly glued to the fake nail, leaving little crevices for things to get stuck into. When I went back to have it fixed they insisted it was my fault and gave me every excuse in the book. 1. It was the curve of my nail ( even though I've done the same service multiple times and this never happened- AND she had redone that nail and it was fixed - so obviously not a problem with my nail) 2. I shouldn't have done that type of gel because that's how it comes out (even though some of my nails were done correctly with no spaces and I've done the same gel in the past with no problems) 3. The spaces are normal. (No they're not. I've been doing my nails with tips for over 10 years and I've never needed to worry about things getting stuck between my real and fake nail- especially the night I got them done). Regardless, found it very silly that I had to sit there and argue with them when the service was clearly done wrong. And then was met with attitude and clear annoyance that she had to fix them. Also- was always badgered to do extra services I didn't want to do. I'd say no to a spa pedicure or more expensive gel and no was never taken as an answer until I insisted. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I came in for a simple manicure and it was honestly the worst experience ever. First of all, they took forever -- I was there for over 2 hours just for a basic set. When I finally saw my nails, they looked terrible. Uneven shape, messy polish, and some nails were already chipping before I even left. They also took a really long time on my friend's nails. The lady working on her was so rude and kept bending her hands in ways they can't move because my friend has arthritis. She told her multiple times that it hurt and the lady just ignored her and kept going. Overall, it was such a waste of time and money. Horrible service, rude staff, and the worst nails I've ever gotten. I definitely won't be coming back and I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I went to Cindy's today because I couldn't get into a local salon that I've been a customer at for 12+ years. The spa manicure I received was AMAZING and relaxing. The spa is clean, modern and peaceful. Jessica was excellent and treated me like she knew me for years. She used a new polish that had a minimal up charge but dried within 5 minutes. Her friendliness and professionalism was appreciated that I made another appointment with her. I know there are a lot of nail salons in Scarsdale but Cindy's is a great addition. read more
