2 weeks ago I was looking last minute for a place to do mani/pedi. I was going on vacation and did not leave much time to go to the salon. Since I moved to NY, I've had the hardest time finding a place that can do a good gel manicure (I've tried like 5 places) - nails always start chipping either next day, or get bubbles. I found this place here and decided to give it a shot. I called and they did not pick up (Saturday afternoon, I thought of course they are busy!) but I was surprised they returned my call and the lady was absolutely kind! They were full, so she was clear on the time they had left what they could do (which I appreciated so much), and gave me the last spot. I waited a while and they seems concerned about it, but I did not mind I was grateful I was there in the first place and I knew I had to wait. The lady I had spoken with came to introduce herself (was not the host), and offered me a beverage. The vibe was really cool, and the place was very clean. When I finally got to see the technician, she was super nice and did a great job. I felt the manicure very rushed, but the pedicure was fantastic. The hairdressers seems so nice and knowledgeable with the clients, that had me thinking about getting my hair done too!! But they did not have time (understandable). Would try again, and probably give a try to the other cool services they offer as well. read more

I had a really great experience for my Brazilian wax. I stumbled onto Radiance SkinCare while looking for a last-minute appointment (and when I say last minute, I mean I called at 9:09 am for a 10:30 am appointment). I was able to get in and everything was so easy. I showed up, the receptionist took my temperature, there was touchless hand sanitizer, and everyone was wearing masks. When I got to the room for the wax, it was nicely lit, everything felt very clean, and there was soft music playing. I entered the space to find an attentive and pleasant staff member, who guided me to a seat to wait on my appointment. In a few minutes, Martina came to take me to meet with her in a comfortable nook for my gel manicure. I appreciated her input on color and nail shape. We had a lovely conversation while she worked on my nails. I felt relaxed and in good hands. Afterwards, Martina guided me downstairs for my pedicure. I felt transported.... the music, smells, colors, water fountain, all added to the relaxed atmosphere. Martina offered me water with an infusion of my choice. My brother was planning on taking my mom around the mall to shop around and I planned on getting her a massage nearby for her birthday. This place had 5 stars when I was researching it and to be honest- well deserved. My mom left feeling relaxed, happy and like a queen (drinks and cheers). Not only did they bring the positive energy, but they helped my mom feel very special for her birthday. Thank you staff for making her feel pampered! I had a spa pedicure and manicure with Debra. She was very careful to keep proper disinfection practices. She spent a lot of time with me, the manicure was meticulous and she shaped my nails beautifully. Then she gave me a very relaxing spa pedicure with leg and foot massage. The pedicure area is very clean, private, and relaxing. She even waxed my feet/toes complimentary. A very nice touch that I haven't received during any other pedicure!
