Hot dogs, popcorn, and the pizzas are great- chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks are trash. Don't bother getting the tenders or mozz sticks unless you like it dry and hard. 5/5 stars overall. Like other Cinelux locations, the seats only reclined a bit when you leaned back, and they're not heated real recliners liked the ones at AMC/Century. The staff did a pretty good job cleaning up after each movie. For movies which wouldn't require super large screens nor special effects to enjoy, this theater wasn't a bad choice.

Visiting 3Below reminded me that venturing out of that corporate capitalist bubble of perceived coziness would put me in a vibrant hub of social awareness. This is where you go to see the Documentaries IG mentions, but no theaters seem to have times for. This is where you can catch live performances on the same stage that you'll watch a thought provoking film. And, as the manager/owner of the fiercest security dog I've encountered mentioned, THIS is where you could learn to tap dance. Now, I'm hoping this could be a location for some line dancing in the near future, because I think Sofa Streetfair could be the place for some of this, and 3Below seems the perfect hub for practicing. When we first came for the soft opening, the service was quite slow and disorganized. We did not receive our food until the second half of the movie, even though we ordered at the beginning. However, we were impressed with the quality of the food and the strict no phones policy. At this point, Alamo was using a pencil and paper method for the staff to come by and pick up orders during the movie. We ordered bottomless popcorn and chicken strips meals. For the price, we felt we were given a generous amount of chicken. It also seemed to be better quality than chicken at other theaters in the area. We returned recently to see another movie, and the service had definitely improved. The staff was very quick with getting our food to us, and the quality of the food remained the same. However, it does seem like Alamo has lifted their no phones policy, opting to have moviegoers order food on their phones rather than with the original pen and paper method. While our theater was generally respectful about their phone use, part of the appeal of going to Alamo was that it was less likely other people in the theater would interrupt the movie with a bright screen.

I honestly expected simple chips and cheese, but this was shmacking. Gotten this three times, & tried all meat options: chicken, asada, and pastor. Chicken is hard pass. Chicken was soft, but it came in big pieces and the flavor profile did not complement the nachos. However, you can't go wrong with asada or pastor. Personally, I like the taste of pastor more. This isn't restaurant quality nachos, but still damn good for a movie theater. I do feel like it's missing something-- maybe jalapenos or more onions/cilantro. It would be nice if there was lime. Getting nachos here will forever be a staple. Plus my partner pays for the membership so we get discounts on food! We had to get our own nachos because we didn't want to share haha.
