CineArts is well kept and always clean during my visits. The concession stand offers alcoholic drinks, hot foods, popcorn, candies, and sugary beverages. Hot dogs, popcorn, and the pizzas are great- chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks are trash. Don't bother getting the tenders or mozz sticks unless you like it dry and hard. 5/5 stars overall. It was a nightmare and before I get into why let me first say I absolutely LOVED seeing the Odyssey in a normal theater. From the start with the Tech's Dome there were issues. We arrived 33 minutes early and already it seemed that there were 3/4 of the people the theater could fit in line. We waited for about 20 minutes in the summer heat to get in. They let us in before the movie started. Went to get seats first since they aren't assigned and they were the worst movie theater seats I've seen in years! Crammed like sardines. I fly often for work and am more comfortable riding coach on a plane. Then I went to get popcorn and water and the line was so long with just one register. By the time I got into the theater the movie was nearly 10 minutes in ... and they had a bunch of people still in line behind me. Now the worst of it... You can't see a damn thing in the Dome. Forget about sitting high up - that wasn't even the issue. It was that the movie was blurry and especially blurry if there was quick movement - and this is an action movie! I knew what was coming and how it was supposed to look since I had seen it a few weeks previously and I could barely make out what was happening. I felt bad for my friend I invited who hadn't yet seen the movie. He had the line of the night as we walked out: "Well.. it seemed like it was a dope movie"... You see a movie like this at the Dome and you'll get robbed of actually SEEING the movie. Just don't do it. Cinelux tickets were a lot more affordable compared to other theaters. Parking at this location was always easy. We checked in right before a big crowd, so it's just a very short wait. It's not a very big theater. Seats were decent and comfortable. Like other Cinelux locations, the seats only reclined a bit when you leaned back, and they're not heated real recliners liked the ones at AMC/Century. The staff did a pretty good job cleaning up after each movie. For movies which wouldn't require super large screens nor special effects to enjoy, this theater wasn't a bad choice.

For the BYOB offer, you can bring your own container, any size, and they fill it with popcorn for only $5.00. It's a really good deal. Since we are movie club members, we got $1.00 off the popcorn price, so we only paid $4.00. They give you a plastic liner to put in your container, before they fill it. They didn't do this last year, so this was new to me. The XD experience was very nice. The picture was amazingly clear and the sound was extraordinary. Very explosion or loud sound/boom, was felt. It costs an extra $3.50 per ticket for the XD experience. I don't know if I'd see every movie with this format. I think action and superhero movies are perfect choices to see in XD. The movie theater was clean inside and each chair comes with its own table for your food items. There's also a cup holder and the reclining seat is adjustable. We will definitely be back to see more movies again and to see a movie in XD again as well.

Visiting 3Below reminded me that venturing out of that corporate capitalist bubble of perceived coziness would put me in a vibrant hub of social awareness. This is where you go to see the Documentaries IG mentions, but no theaters seem to have times for. This is where you can catch live performances on the same stage that you'll watch a thought provoking film. And, as the manager/owner of the fiercest security dog I've encountered mentioned, THIS is where you could learn to tap dance. Now, I'm hoping this could be a location for some line dancing in the near future, because I think Sofa Streetfair could be the place for some of this, and 3Below seems the perfect hub for practicing. But, what a cute location, and I'm told it's locally owned, too. I didn't actually fact check that, so my apologies if I'm spreading misinformation here. Was not expecting that at all. Gives me peace of mind when trying to sit through a 3 hour movie. Only down side to this location if it is off a busy street so you get a ton of loud exhaust vehicles driving by and airplanes over head. Inconvenient if you sit outside or with the trunk open laying in the back. Still a good price compared to theaters.

I ordered the Piquillo Chicken Ciabatta, which comes with grilled chicken, avocado, bacon, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and piquillo pepper aioli on toasted ciabatta. It was pretty good! I got the Cajun fries on the side and they were seasoned really well. I also ordered a Shirley Temple. When it first came out, the soda didn't taste right, so I asked if they could take it back and remake it. They were nice about it, and when they brought the new one back, they explained that they actually had to change out the Sprite in the soda machine. I appreciated that they took accountability, fixed the issue, and explained what happened. The remake was much better! My food and drink came out to $33.45, which I do think is a little pricey for one person, but I understand you're also paying for the dine-in movie theater experience and the convenience of having everything brought directly to your seat. One thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the cleanup. After I finished my drink, I asked one of the workers if they could take my cup and they did. Later, when another worker came by with my receipt, I politely asked if she could also take my empty plate because it was getting in the way of my view of the screen. She told me that the plates would be taken at the end of the movie. I understand that may be their normal process, but since the plate was blocking part of my view, I would've appreciated having it taken away when I was finished. Overall, I'm giving my first experience 4/5 stars. I really enjoyed the comfortable reclining seats, the food, and the whole dine-in movie concept. Eating in the dark can be a little difficult , but it's still a fun experience. Hopefully next time everything goes a little smoother, because I would definitely come back and give it another try!
