I've been here to CineArts Santana Row twice now and each and every time I am left satisfied!! Shout out to my Little for recommending & damn near demanding to come to this specific theater!! Parking is easy due to the neighboring parking structure. Do keep in mind that parking is validated for a few hours- just make sure you make your way to the information desk to input your license plate info. Seating is comfortable- allowing patrons to recline and heat up your chairs. Best of all, each seat has its own table- great for kids and for huge snackers! CineArts is well kept and always clean during my visits. The concession stand offers alcoholic drinks, hot foods, popcorn, candies, and sugary beverages. Hot dogs, popcorn, and the pizzas are great- chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks are trash. Don't bother getting the tenders or mozz sticks unless you like it dry and hard. 5/5 stars overall. Tickets are pricey but i guess everything is nowadays. Idk about you but I'd rather spend my money on a place that guarantees comfortability and cleanliness. read more

Really solid experience here. Parking was free and easy, which already made the visit stress-free. The theatre itself was clean and well maintained, and everything felt organized. I also want to mention Alexander, who was working at the time. I had misplaced an item and he stepped in to help without hesitation. He stayed patient, moved quickly, and made sure we actually found it instead of just brushing it off. That kind of attention and effort doesn't go unnoticed. This movies theater has everything: variety of shows, cleanliness and convenient location! Best to catch show with friends then having lunch/linner/dinner/drinks after on the Row I love that the outside of this theater has colorful stained glasses as its front, making it look like a work of modern art. Perfectly fitting with the vibe of Santana Row, upscale and elegant. You can park at the less known garage on Olsen which is right next to the theater. Parking is mostly and readily available here. The inside looks spacious and clean enough to me. Staff checked us swiftly and mentioned the validation for your parking ticket if your movies lasts more than 90 minutes. Like all other theaters nowadays, this theater is also equipped with reclining leather chairs, making the movies watching experience comforting and enjoyable. We came to the movies to see Marty Supreme. The CineArts movie theater is located at Santana Row. We parked in the parking garage right next to it. We made sure to get our parking validated at the movie theater. We walked into the theater and got scanned in with our online purchases tickets. They give you a QR code that you can take a picture of for validated parking for 4 hours. When you go to the exit, in your car, at the parking garage, it will give you your total parking price. Then you scan the photo of the QR code. We saved $6. The theater was not busy yet. They were having a popcorn special. You bring your own container, any size and they fill it with popcorn for $5.00. It was a great deal. I later saw some people bring a huge home depot bucket and they actually filled it for $5. We found our theater and went in to find our seats. The chairs were very comfortable and the seats were heated. You gave the option to have the heat on or off. I kept it on and it was so cozy and comfortable. You also have can control how much you want to recline your chair. Each seat had its own table for your food and drinks. The theater was very clean and looked new inside. We enjoyed our popcorn and the movie. We will definitely be back to see other movies in the future. read more

Always an enjoyable experience! As a movie lover, I visit almost every week and have never had a negative experience. The building is located on the far end of Santana Row, and parking validation is offered. Just make sure to take a photo of the QR code at the front desk before you leave. Since this building is located within Santana Row, it can be difficult to find parking during peak times. The interior is decorated with new movie posters and a majestic tribute to famous movies. I'm a huge fan of the concession stand, with so many options for candy, soda, popcorn, ice cream, chips, and more. The employees are always friendly and helpful with any questions. There are quite a few theaters, and I love the reclining chairs in every theater. They're so comfortable, and you can tilt the seat back to get a better view of the screen. No problems with the audio and screen too. This is such a solid, elevated movie experience! read more

I love coming to this theater, always clean, usually never busy unless you come for a premier night. Seats always recline correctly. The only thing, and I think it's more a garage thing, but the validation never works so you always end up paying a few dollars after watching a movie. I hope that gets fixed soon read more

Guys for a Santana row movie theater, it's pretty affordable! They have a membership that basically pays for itself if you watch a movie once a month. The membership also gets u a discount on their food and bevs so we got a small popcorn for like $5. You also get a discount on tix so I think it was less than $10??? Which is kind of really good in this economy. And the seats... sooo spacious. They recline, have heaters, and have walking space in front of the seats so u don't have to awkwardly walk past everyone and say sorry sorry sorry. They also validate parking yay read more

Since Icon theaters closed down in Valley Fair, CinéArts has been my new go-to movie spot! They're located right in Santana Row so parking is usually easy in the Olin or Hatton parking garage. Luckily, the movie theater validates parking so no need to pay extra for watching a 3 hour long movie! The movie theater is a little smaller than other theaters I've been to, but it gives a cool retro vibe thanks to the posters and decor they have up. They also always have the limited edition popcorn buckets that are exclusive for movie releases. Customer service here is also top notch as the employees are kind enough to greet you and concession stands will even mix the butter popcorn and kettle corn evenly together! read more

Parking isn't stressful compared to Pruneyard Cinemas in Campbell (an actual nightmare) since Santana Row's parking structure has ample parking at any time. Great location and ambiance! Nothing much to say except that it's a decent movie theater with more than reasonably priced concessions. Can't go wrong with popcorn and a slushie for about 10$. I'm 55 so have been to my share of movies. I get that ads will be shown onscreen prior to the movie while patrons enter the theater. Trailers before movies are usually good fun and they've increased in number and duration it seems - but I get it. HOWEVER, if a movie is to start at 5:20, then the trailers start at 5:20. This theatre, in a most blatant money grab, showed straight up ads for 7 more minutes. Absolute BS. You've got us hostage in our seats and show advertisements when you've already declared the movie start time?!? Isn't that false advertising? Never going back. After all of the ads/trailers/whatever other crap they showed, movie actually started 27 minutes after advertised start time. Not ok. read more

Good location but customer service was lacking. When we got to the concession stand there was no one to be found and after about 10 minutes of waiting we see someone coming from the back. I know he saw us but he had his head phones in and it looked like he was cleaning some kitchen equipment and went back to the back. Then finally an employee comes up to the register and starts talking to another customer. We waited probably another 5 minutes and waved for him and we finally got our popcorn. Then we get to our theatre and it's FREEZING. It was a pretty hot day so we didn't think to bring a sweater, but even with one it would probably still be -10 degrees in there. We ended up going back to the concession stand and buying a $20 cinearts blanket. It didn't help much and we were still so uncomfortably cold watching the movie. read more

I have been going to this cinema theatre for the past 3 years and I have enjoyed all my visits. I have decided to leave a review after seeing the latest released Guardians of the Galaxy 3. It is being released in most cinemas on the 5th but I got tickets for May 4th, even though I had to book it 3 months in advance due to tickets being almost sold out. The best thing about this cinema is that not only are the seats comfortable, they also decline and warm up - the perfect thing in a cinema. The check in is always fast, no matter if the tickets were bought online or in person, the staff is also very nice and doing their jobs fast. The bathrooms are always clean, a factor I take into consideration every time I go somewhere. I even decided to get a Cinemark monthly membership to avoid the online fees and get discounted tickets for friends. read more

Went to see Nosferatu matinee. I don't particulary enjoy watching previews so I ignored them and looked at my phone. However, when the movie started the house lights did not go down. In fact, I realized that it was more than normal house lights since the lights were glaring into my eyes. I actually had to use my hands to shield my eyes from the glare. Even worse, there were two lamps that were shining from behind the screen that ruined the image. I waited for a minute then headed out to the lobby to get someone to fix it. I missed most of the opening sequence of Nosferatu, which director Robert Eggers stated was his favorite scene. Four minutes after the movie started, the house lights did turn off but the two lamps behind the screen did not! I had to get up again, walk to the lobby and complain about those lights. See attached picture. More minutes went buy but the lamps did not turn off. As I rose up to complain a third time an employee came in, went behind the screen and turned off the lights. I was robbed of enjoying the opening scene and introductory story line. It was difficult to immerse myself into the movie with all the aggravation. I did my part. I drove to the theater, paid for parking at Santana Row, and paid $12 for the film. They had one job to do, which is to show a movie and they failed. Infact, I could even say the film was partially ruined for me. read more

Super nice theater but I am easily reminded of why I avoid this shopping center. The 'TO BE SEEN' aspect is on fleek. I mean people are dressed up to see a movie in the dark. It's funny. The theater itself is very nice with chairs that recline and offer leg support, with plenty of room for others to walk by. Can't comment on the customer service as we purchased our tickets on line. They do get dinged one star though, bc their note for parking validation did not work. The attendant was nowhere to be found. read more

We had a great experience, visiting CineArts Santana Row on a Thursday evening. With the ideal location, we were able to get drinks at SR beforehand, and even more drinks at the theater when we arrived. They serve beer and wine, and I was pleased to find that they even sell half bottles of wine (a cute miniature bottle of J.Lohr cabernet). We also opted to eat dinner here. They have your typical movie concessions menu items, like hot dogs, pizza, nachos, ice cream, candy, and such. No fancy food items needed, as we enjoyed their hot dogs, pretzel bites with nacho cheese dip, and buttered popcorn. Everything was warm and delicious, perfect for our viewing of Elvis. And all of the workers we interacted with were friendly and provided sufficient service. The seats in the auditorium were in good condition, comfy luxury lounger recliners. The whole theater was clean and modern from the look of the venue outside, to the lobby and auditorium. The lobby even had great posters on the walls, which added a nice touch to the ambience of the theater. Even though the SR parking garage was packed on a busy Thursday, we found parking on one of the streets. Overall, this theater offers everything one would need for a good time... we certainly had a very satisfying night :) read more

I've come to this theatre a couple times and every visit is easy and pleasant! They mainly go by an honor system here, so it is a really relaxing process. You can order tickets online or at the front, but they don't check for tickets at all. On Tuesdays, they have good discounts! $7 ALL DAY or $6.50 for Cinemark loyalty members. The concessions area is completely open and you just pay for your snacks before you enter the theatre hallway. The popcorn is very affordable. A huge tub for $6.75 is an amazing price compared to other theatres. They give free water cups, which is always nice! NOTE: The closest parking garage to the theatre is on Olsen Dr and Hatton St. read more

New review: Went to go see Captain American art 7pm in a Wednesday. For some good forsaken reason they allowed a 4 year old child in the showing, who was constantly talking at full volume with his father. They would not respond to bring asked to be quiet, and there were a grand total of 2 employees working the theater, being tied up in concessions and tickets, so they could not assist. No theater etiquette, no rule enforcement, and being understaffed means this is no longer a worthwhile theater to spend your money in. Avoid at all costs, and wait for the Alamo Drafthouse to open - they seem to actually give a damn about their patrons. read more

I came here to watch the new Avatar movie in 3D. It's a small and cozy theater with the best popcorn. Some of the Cinemark theaters I've visited had stale popcorn but it's fresh and they also have kettle corn! I asked for extra butter and a large icee and the worker who was helping me was kind and friendly. Really enjoyed my experience here, and it's nice to walk around Santana Row afterwards to grab dinner before heading back home. read more

Reclining AND heated seats = winning combination! * = bathroom not included; didn't use it. 2 stars (or less): A big part of going to the movies is the concession stand and this place thoroughly disappoints. The two guys working this area must've been working their first day.. of life. My friend requested a hot tea and one of the guys confirmed their tea selection was right in front. Then the two guys open a binder and have their backs to us discussing, I suppose, what they need to do. It's a hot tea. My friend grabbed a tea bag and these guys didn't realize all she needed was hot water. I was waiting by the popcorn as I still needed to order and didn't understand why it would need 2 of them to fulfill my friend's request. I confirm with her she only ordered a hot tea so I ask the guys to just give us a cup of hot water. For lack of better words, they looked lost. The one guy said they don't have hot water and when the other guy said they could use some (coffee?) machine, the first guy said they couldn't do it/give out hot water... WHAT?! Why offer tea if you can't provide hot water! I got a small popcorn (which was actually a huge tub) and she wanted to share some and they couldn't even give her one of the drink cups to use. She ended up getting a styrofoam water cup instead. read more
