Just want to respond to the "parent" who was upset when the Cinedome employees questioned her decision to allow her kids into an R rated movie. I am thankful to know there are responsible people at the Cinedome who care enough about her kids to make sure they are the proper age to view R rated movies, because it appears the employees are more responsible than the parent. Responsible adults have viewed and rated movies for good reason, there are too many idiots in the world who are unable to make informed decisions about what is appropriate for teens to watch, so it is good to have someone who can do it for them. The Cinedome is a great deal for the money and if this parent wants to pay higher prices for the honor of letting his/her children attend age inappropriate movies elsewhere, then good riddance! read more

So I'm guessing with all the newer theaters with the reclining seats around this isn't the theatre to go to anymore..which is why I like it! Literally no one in the theatre which was awesome for me because I brought my two toddlers in to see a movie! The minimal staff they had working was extremely nice and made us feel welcome. They recommended the best snack options for the best value and had fresh popcorn even though it was very late in the evening. The theatre was clean and so where the restrooms but there were a lot of crickets in the theatre. We didn't see them but before your movie starts I would recommend sitting outside the doors if that bugs you. You can't hear them during the movie at all btw. This movie theater is complete bullshit. They like to rip people off and dont give refunds.... I came here with my younger sister to watch a movie and she isnt over 18.i am 24. They would not allow her to watch the movie with me. They said we needed her ID i told them she only had a school ID we drove home to go get it and then they allowed us to buy the tickets but did not allow us to go in the movie after all the time spent we asked for a refund and they did not give it to us. We called my father to come and tell them to let her in and they still did not. The worst part was the way they handled this situation. I am extremely disgusted by the way this was handled we were first lied to and then not given our money back? I would have been fine with it if the employees were at least nice but they were EXTREMELY RUDE. NO MANNERS. I can not believe the way we were treated here. Very unprofessional people and liars. This is completely wrong of them. I cant not believe they had the audacity to lie to us let us buy the movie ticket not let us in and then refuse to refund my money. All of the employees were extremely disrespectful to us. I did not even have a manger talk to me. They did not bring him out. I will NEVER come back here. Love this theater! Prices are cheaper & they do get newly released movies! The concessions aren't discounted but paying almost $4 less per person is worth it, overall total is still less than a casino theater with no clouds of smoke to walk through. My first time to C12H was almost 10 years ago. My boss back then told us to meet him in the parking lot. He then produced a trunk load of pizza's for us along with tickets to enjoy the fruits of many months of hard work. C12H is not what movie theaters have become with their over priced admissions, high priced concession stands and stadium seating. This is the movie going experience before the theater gold rush that at present day smacks the 3D, celluloid consumer. I have been her several time since and look forward to coming back more. On my last visit I found the attendants at the ticket booth and popcorn stand to be most helpful and friendly. Both areas I might also add are cheaper then their casino counterparts. I was again amazed by how clean everything was. No sticky floors or dirty bathrooms. The GF and I stopped in to take in a motion picture (early afternoon) and found ourselves along with one other dude to be the be the only ones in the somewhat small theater. Sure, it might be bad for business, but I loved it. It brought me back to the summer of my 18th year when I spent a lot of time taking in movies before life got serious. I can's speak for the other start times but this will be my preferred time to take in a talky. Both the picture and sound quality met the standards one would find in any other theater. I am going to take a different stance on the Cinedome...I freaking love this place. Why, you may ask...but doesn't it have less amenities than new theaters? Yes, I can't deny that. But in a city where movies can run up to $11 a ticket, the Cinedome is the hot spot! Tickets here are cheap...Adult Matinee's are $4.50...evenings are $6.50...yeah, I said it...you can go to a first run movie for less than $7/ticket in Las Vegas. As Frank mentioned, they don't have 3-D, they don't have IMax...but if you are looking to just go enjoy a first run movie...this is the place to go. No frills, but you aren't paying for frills. The theaters are all old school style (no stadium seating), but they are clean, and the A/C works well during the hot summers. I've never had a problem with people sitting in front of me at the theater either...it gets busy, but not that busy. The concession stand may not include a Starbucks, but the popcorn, candy and soda are cheaper than at any of the casino theaters. The Cinedome is pretty far south on Boulder Highway, but if you are in the area, it is totally worth it. read more

Maybe I'm spoiled by the new galaxy Theater on Sunset, but this theater is very small and the seats are rather uncomfortable. Ticket prices however were very reasonable and concessions weren't terribly overpriced either. One of my friends who is like a mother to me favors this theater over many others in the area and so I will happily return with her. read more

We love the old Cinedome 12! It's definitely nothing fancy, but the price is right to take the kids along and enjoy a movie. The Cinemark app also lets you earn free concession items by silencing your phone using the app during the movie, which is very nice. We always keep our fingers crossed that this good old theater won't get remodeled and start charging more because we like it just the way it is! read more

There is nothing especially wrong with Cinedome 12. They have 12 screens and, like newer theaters, digital projectors. The sound is clear. They have a snack bar that is conveniently close to each of the 12 theaters. They keep it rather clean. The seats recline in every other row which is nice given that it is the old gentle slope seating as opposed to the new fangled stadium style seating. And the price is a fair $6.75 per person. That all being said, I was simultaneously shocked, amused and disappointed last night after seeing the late night showing of Jurassic Park in 2D. Yes, I said 2D. My dad and I paid $6.75 each to see a 20 year old movie without the new 3D touch. Get over it. We get dizzy watching 3D shows. Anyhow, the last showing of the evening was at 10 PM. After the previews and the 2 hour film were over, my dad and I left the theatre walked through the empty lobby and out to the absolutely pitch black parking lot with zero lighting. We were in disbeliefe. The fact that they would turn off the lights before the customers have even left the building was astonishing. It was a little creepy walking out there. My dad had to use his clicker to flash the lights so we could simply find the car. We started laughing at that point just happy to have not been locked in the building. I guess I shouldn't complain too much though. It was basically a private screening with just my dad and I in the theater. Still, it felt like we were forgotten about and that to me is poor customer service. read more

I hope this place never goes away! My boyfriend and I are so glad we finally tried this theatre! He drives by it everyday and a few weeks ago we finally went to check it out and have been back pretty much every week. The prices are great $6.50 per person for an evening show and only $8.25 a person for 3-D! The whole place is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The theaters are smaller but the quality is fantastic, seats are decent sized (and I ain't skinny) and look new. The concessions are always fresh and they offer mix and match self serve candy bins so that's fun! Also, there is also a great pizza place next door and is within walking distance of downtown henderson. Great place, great prices, great location! We just love it! Oh and just like any proper movie theatre there is an arcade complete with pin ball machines and an air hockey table. read more

Ticket prices are about half as much as competitors in the area. The value price comes at a price though. The website advertises stadium seating, however they just have a sloped floor. The seats are old stiff theater seats not the recliners you will see in most modern theaters. Presentation of the film was not very good, the film I saw was a Flat film, meaning the aspect ratio is similar to a standard widescreen TV, to properly project this on a theater screen the theater must change the matting by moving curtains in to cover the unused area of the screen. Not only did not they not move curtains in to fix this, it looked like they had none installed. If the sides of the screen are not covered it can be very distracting to the viewer. In addition to the matte issue, the picture was also being projected above the top of the screen and was skewed. If you don't mind a sub par picture presentation and the seats then this place is a good value. If you want to get a good theater presentation experience, this is not the place for you. read more

While the price is right, it really is so outdated I won't be returning unless they happen to be playing something that I can't find anywhere else in Henderson. The theater is one of those tiny ones where the huge aisle is right in the middle. In other words, you'll never get that perfect middle seat - it doesn't exist! Also, the sound was pretty bad and the picture wasn't great. We were watching "Devil", and it wasn't all that scary because the theater wasn't even dark enough during the black out moments to really get the effect. Major points for extending matinee prices till 6 PM - otherwise you might as well just see a movie at the $1 cinema. Last night was the worse experience ever. We went to go watch the movie overlords. I worked hard and long from a 12hr shift doing Homeland security to come and take my kids to a movie. Just because it's after 6pm we get kicked out of the movie theater because it's their policy. I have never seen a thing in my life so and I'm so disgusted. I can understand if there are adult movies or theaters strictly for adults but this is discrimination and it should be highly illegal for them to do this. They offered movie passes and returned my money but it's how were treated. We didn't want the passes. It is demeaning and degrading to get treated as garbage when we're hard-working people just trying to get out and enjoy a movie and over a policy that absolutely makes no sense and we get booted out for no reason. It's not a law the law is 17 and under with company of the parent or adult may see a R rated movie. It is that management and theater. Normally I do not come out about it but when people got stress and personal life things such as kids having cancer and hard jobs and then come to a theater after work around 6:45pm and get disrespectful treatment and kicked out over a stupid policy then we lost our freedom. No way I'll ever give them my business anymore. We gone there for years but never again and me and my friends and family are boycotting that place. If you got kids be warned because your next to get mistreated and tossed out. My kids behave and act highly respectful and they wasn't the problem. It's the policy and that manager. read more

We love Cinedome! My kids and I see several movies a month here. You can't beat the price!! The employees are friendly and helpful. Also, if you're a popcorn lover, they use real butter as opposed to artificial as they do at Regal and it makes all the difference! Reading some of the other reviews made me laugh, complaining that there are no reclining seats and they saw a kernel of popcorn on the floor! (And the review personally attacking someone based on their looks? You should be ashamed.) You are paying $5 to see a movie! Sure, you can get reclining seats if you want to pay more than double, and as an added bonus in the casinos you can walk through cigarette smoke to get there! Personally, I find that far more disgusting than anything mentioned in these reviews. But, to each his own. The more people that feel they are too good for this theater, the better; that's just more room for those of us who love the cheap seats here in Hendertucky!! :) read more

Though this place is old as dirt, I still love coming here for matinees. The ticket prices are the lowest in town and the staff is always friendly and professional. The facility is old but its well kept and always clean, but the snack bar prices are as high as any other movie house in the valley. My husband left his coat with his wallet at the movies today (Christmas Eve) and didn't realize it for several hours.
