First time at AMC Town Square 18 on Las Vegas Blvd. Great location, huge parking lot and many spaces available for parking. There are also many eateries and shops around to choose from. We purchased tickets at the counter as the kiosk wasn't functioning. As we walked in, the young lady that scanned our tickets was nice and welcoming. She informed us our theater number and where it's located. We arrived 45 minutes early so we can stop by the concession stand to pick up some popcorn, snacks and drinks. We decided to leave the line in the concession as we've been waiting for over 30 minutes and didn't want to miss the trailers. We left the concession empty handed which was disappointing. We chose good seats at the very top, middle section overlooking the screen. Great quality in the surround sound. We liked that the seats were huge, couch like, wide and you can adjust the level of reclining while the drink and food holder was spacious. Our area was clean however, the row below us and beside us had popcorn all over the floor. We exited the opposite side of where we came in and the floor was so sticky. When we were coming out of the theater, there was an employee with a broom waiting for the people to leave so they can enter and clean. As people were leaving they were saying have a good night. I thought that was so kind. Seems like they have great customer service from the interaction I had with 2 of the theater employees. They were nice and polite. Management needs to keep the theater clean and make it consistent. Also management needs to hire more staff to help the 2 young man at the concession stand and maybe station several employees for each theater to be cleaned. One employee can't clean the whole theater in a timely manner. I feel bad for the employees because you can tell they are wanting to assist everyone but they lack the support. We plan to visit this theater again and hope to have a better experience as it's such a nice theater. We like the sound quality and the precise volume in this theater. read more

There's a machine when you enter to print tickets you've purchased online. I've only been here twice within 6 months and it's still the same issue. First I'd like to say how good their food and drink options are. There's good movie selections and staff weren't rude but not friendly as well. Here's the sad part, both times I visited the floors were sticky. The ones infront of the drinks and frostee was sticky and it could be from recent spills getting a drink. But the floor in the theater by our seats were sticky as well. The whole lobby area had napkins and popcorn on the floor. Maybe they were short staff both days but it was a hot mess. I would love to recommend and suggest this theater to people visiting Vegas since it's at Town Square but it sadly would have to be last to recommend. read more

We still keep coming here because it's in a great area with so many wonderful dining options nearby. We also really like the AMC Stubs reward program. The paid premier membership is a great value as you get waived online fees and a special express line at the concession stand as well as rewards on your purchases. The audio and sound quality in the auditoriums has always been good. Definitely try to catch a film in the Dolby Digital auditorium which is their nicest auditorium. The IMAX auditorium and the new ScreenX auditorium are also good options. The staff are generally OK. The concession staff are usually reasonably friendly and helpful. The theater itself, though, is usually very dirty. The bathrooms, the public areas, the auditoriums... always very dirty. They have 6-8 different Coca-Cola freestyle machines, but it's always a fun surprise which one will have ice. Usually about 25% of them will actually have ice. These have all been longstanding issues that just never get addressed. I think this theater just needs a new manager or something who actually cares. read more

I'm usually a Regal moviegoer because the theaters are consistently clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. This time, though, we came to AMC to watch The Odyssey--and first, go see the movie because it was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, the theater itself was a huge disappointment. The bathrooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in at least a day or two, the trash cans were overflowing, and when we got to our seats they were covered in crumbs with sticky drink stains. The floors throughout the theater could have used a good vacuuming as well. I really hope they're able to hire more staff or improve the cleaning because the experience took away from an otherwise fantastic movie. Came to watch the new Moana with my family. Made an order before we came because we were running late and our order hadn't even been started when we got there and there were no other orders. I know most ppl don't get coffee at the movies but definitely don't get it here. Takes a while to make and the creamers they have out are old. This is one of my favorite theaters because it is convenient and easy to get to. I like that it is in the center of the shops and around a bunch of restaurants. There is plenty of parking and the theaters are clean and spacious. The seating is comfortable and they have a lot of movie options. The snack lines are always long and crowded and very expensive. Disgusting seats, broken machines, and ruined clothes. Incredibly disappointed with my recent visit to AMC. Our seats were damaged, wet, and absolutely filthy resulting in ruined clothes. Staff couldn't relocate us, didn't have a towel, and it took three supervisors just to get a temporary leather seat cover. The concession area was just as bad: they sold us a drink only for us to find out every single ICEE machine was broken. The floors throughout the theater were sticky and gross. Still one of favorite theaters to go & I haven't written an update review in a few years. So, my latest experience was fine...(here it comes)..but, I think they need an employee dedicated to CLEAN the restrooms or at least check them every hour. Especially on the weekends. My 2nd suggestion is not to allow anyone in the theater wearing PAJAMAS. I guarantee they are always the ones on their phones & talking throughout the movies. My last suggestion is to have more then 1 dedicated A-list register open during peak times. The staff you have as of 5/22/26 are pretty friendly. This theater is literally disgusting throughout the entire facility. The lobby floor was sticky and nasty, the bathrooms are not functioning properly and we're very dirty. Every trash can I saw was overflowing with trash onto the floor. I had to wait 40 minutes in the concessions line to get my popcorn which made me late for my movie! Yes, 40 minutes... this theater needs to hire A LOT more employees. Once inside the theater it was almost impossible to find my correct seat due to only having the aisles #'s marked on the floor, not the seats, and it was very dark to see so I ended up sitting in the wrong seats.... Numerous other people couldn't find their seats and looked confused as well. I wont definitely wont be back to this theater and there are too many other good options. This is a hard review to write because I'm an AMC A-Lister and I'm at this theater three to four times a month on average. I want to like this location, and there are definitely some great things about it. It has a great IMAX screen, a great Dolby theater, and it always seems to get the newest AMC technology. And they always have the sound turned up! That said, the theater feels seriously mismanaged and is in real need of repairs and better upkeep. It is always dirty. I've been there for first showings of the day and still seen black marks on the bathroom floors. There is popcorn on the floor everywhere. The Coke Freestyle machines are constantly out of syrups, hot food items are often unavailable, and the overall condition of the theater just feels neglected. To be fair, the staff has always been extremely nice and polite. This doesn't feel like a customer service issue as much as a staffing or management issue. Either there aren't enough people to maintain the theater properly on a daily basis, or the staff they do have aren't being allocated to the right areas. I've worked at a movie theater before, so I understand the challenge of cleaning a theater in 15 minutes before the next showing. Because of that, I give some leeway when it comes to the cleanliness of the auditoriums themselves. But with so many theaters in Las Vegas renovating and stepping up their game, it's disappointing to see the biggest theater chain in the world lagging this far behind. For me, AMC 18 is a love/hate relationship. I keep coming back because of the screens and technology, but the cleanliness, food availability, and overall upkeep really need improvement. read more

I managed to maneuver my way through thanks to experience, but it was frustrating and physically taxing. The exit is the exact same setup, so leaving was just as difficult. Inside, the concession stand was well-staffed and moved quickly--lines weren't bad at all. The employees I interacted with were cordial and helpful when asked, which was appreciated. That said, more proactive assistance for guests with disabilities (like holding doors or offering help at entry/exit) would go a long way toward better accommodations. Parking is another downside: street parking requires payment, and if you want free spots, you're walking a pretty good distance--definitely not ideal for anyone with mobility challenges. The theater has potential and the core experience is solid, but these accessibility and parking hurdles make it less welcoming than it could be. Some places earn a spot in your life not because they're perfect but because they consistently show up -- and this AMC is exactly that for us. Out of the two AMC locations in Las Vegas this is the one we always come back to, and with the A-List membership it has genuinely become our default movie experience. Reclining seats alone are enough to make most other theatres feel like a step backward -- once you've settled into one for a two hour film there's simply no going back. The theatre is working through some updates and you can see the progress piece by piece. The decor has some dated areas but the direction is clearly forward and that counts for something. The Freestyle soda machines are a welcome touch -- the customizable drink options are fun and genuinely add to the experience. The ice situation is another story though. Finding a machine that actually dispenses ice has become something of a pre-movie ritual -- you learn quickly which ones to check first. A small but fixable frustration for a theatre at this level. Popcorn is a coin toss. Some visits it's perfectly buttery and fresh. Others it lands somewhere in the bland zone. Consistency would go a long way. None of these are dealbreakers -- and with A-List benefits making every visit feel like a value, this theatre has genuinely earned its place as a staple in our movie going life. read more

My BFF man buddy spent the weekend with my wife and I so I arranged a Sunday night viewing of The Odyssey for the two of us. Got tickets and great seats on line, thank you Fandango, and after anxiously waiting in the very long concessions line we were almost barked at: "WE ARE NOT SELLING POP CORN!" Though one of the three pop corn machines was at least half full we quickly pivoted and heading to the 6:00pm showing (for which the long line had made us late) but no worries as plenty of upcoming previews took care of it. Quick stepping to our designated theater I popped a couple of meds into my mouth seeing 4 drinking fountains on the wall. Upon trying each of them (all different heights from the floor, which is cool) none of them worked (which was not cool). As my meds began dissolving and burning my mouth, I thankfully saw another series of 4 drinking fountains at the end of the hall! Each of them was a different height from the floor (which was cool) and NONE of them worked (which was not cool). Ran to a Men's Room where thankfully the faucet spat out some warm, delicious Las Vegas water and I swallowed my almost completely disintegrated meds. The theater may have no control over the mix between the background music, sound effects and the dialogue track, but for the entire movie you could barely understand what was being said. . . and it was SO loud I repeated plugged my ears as numerous people did around me. (FYI: I am a rocker from the 70's and love loud, except when it is stupid loud and many parts of this showing was stupid loud.) The freakin' Cyclops in the film made it all worth it, but we will never see another film at this location. Insult to injury: As we left the theater almost 3 hours later, the smell of fresh popcorn filled our nostrils - and pissed us off again. read more

The smell was unbearable--comparable to an unserviced outhouse--and the floor tiles were coated in a dark, grimey residue, and trash cans throughout the building were overflowing, leaving rubbish spilling into public walkways. It was obvious they hadn't been properly maintained. The auditoriums were equally disappointing. There was popcorn and trash scattered throughout the seating areas, cupholders were littered with leftover debris and garbage from the previous showings, and the floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned between showings. It's hard to enjoy a movie when you're sitting in an environment that feels neglected and unsanitary. I understand that theaters get busy, but this wasn't a one-time issue and allowing a theater to reach this level of filth reflects a complete disregard for hygiene and customer comfort. This has been the reality over multiple visits, which tells me it's become a pattern rather than an exception. As someone who has supported AMC for seven years, it's incredibly disappointing to see the theater in this condition. I sincerely hope AMC addresses its housekeeping and maintenance standards because no customer should have to pay premium ticket prices to watch a movie in an environment that feels dirty and unhygienic. Nice, clean movie theatre located upstairs in the Town Square shopping area. Parking is free and there are plenty of lots and garages to park in behind or to the side of the theatre. This is in a great central location and the theatre is kept up nicely. Food and drinks are of course overpriced as they are at movie theatres, but you know what to expect. You can also purchase alcohol here and they have a nice bar off to the side. Great theatre. read more

Power went out during the middle of Resident Evil, sound and lights came back on but no picture.

Its an ok theater. If do go there DO NOT make a mobile order for food, snacks and drinks. They will take forever to get to you even if you put an order in for an earlier than movie time. it has taken more than 15 minutes to get to me just for 1 popcorn bucket and 1 large drink. Order was set for 6:50 pm and there's not even that many people at all compared to other days. read more

I don't typically leave negative reviews, but my experience at this AMC theater was disappointing from start to finish. Upon arriving, we stopped for popcorn and drinks. One of the first things we noticed was the condition of the ice machines mounted on top of the Freestyle soda dispensers. They appeared to be held together with exposed screws and black duct tape, which created a very poor first impression and looked unprofessional. The popcorn was served hot and fresh, but unfortunately it had an unpleasant taste. They didn't offer traditional kettle corn, so my friend tried the caramel-style popcorn instead. Unfortunately, neither of us felt well afterward. The restrooms were by far the worst part of the experience. The floors around the urinals were covered with urine, making it nearly impossible to use the restroom without stepping in it. It was unsanitary and clearly needed immediate attention. The theater itself feels dated and in need of renovation. There were shipping boxes sitting in the hallways, giving the lobby an unfinished, cluttered appearance. Another frustrating issue was the lack of movie identification outside each auditorium. While each theater door was numbered, there were no digital displays or marquees indicating which movie was playing inside. I actually had to ask an employee where my movie was showing. Even the staff member had to pull out a printed sheet and study it for a while before he could tell me which auditorium to go to. The seats were loose, wobbly, and not particularly comfortable. While the auditorium itself appeared reasonably clean, the overall condition of the facility felt tired and neglected. I usually visit Cinemark theaters and have consistently had great experiences there. Since this movie was only showing at AMC, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, this location did not meet the standard I expect from a national theater chain. It's free to sign up for their AMC rewards and I would highly recommend to do it because every quarter they send out a freebie to entice people about new menu items. It could be anything from an ice cream bar, chocolate chip cookie, a drink, or popcorn. This location is a little outdated since the seats do not recline and it's a little bit of an older style. I will say that the freshness and quality of their food items are better than other AMC's. Particularly we like the quality of the popcorn as we feel as it is very fresh and constantly turned around. It's a little bit of a hike to get to this since it's located inside the town Square mall so Parking could be a little bit confusing. read more

When I told him that I just came for a Medium popcorn. He said, "for real. Girl, it's so good". Do you want extra butter too? I laughed and said no, but extra salt. He Said, "taste it first. You don't need the salt". He was so right. The popcorn was hot and perfectly salted. I almost turned around to grab another bag. I knew I couldn't finish them both. My cashier at the concession was cool. She was very nice and gave me a good portion of caramel popcorn and made it easy to pick my candy and other things. The customer service was friendly and the lines went quickly. I think this is a decent theater. The theater i was in was nice and big and clean. The seats looked new and they were comfortable. I like the spaces between each row, so if someone was really tall, it wouldn't affect my view. I watched the accountant 2, which BTW I liked a lot. While I have no complaints regarding the screens and viewing experience, both theaters are disgusting. The bathrooms are always filthy and trash is often overflowing. Secondly, I know AMC can only control so much, but letting people vape, text, and talk during movies is unacceptable. An employee needs to monitor theaters here and there. Wow - this location has so much potential... Movie viewing is fine, sound is fine, but the ticket prices do not make sense for the lack of basic service and operations. We were in line for food and saw the pickup order line to the right for hot food pickup not moving - AT ALL. No employee came by to give out pickup orders. A few people left without receiving their orders because their movie was starting. Other customers were visibly frustrated and upset at the wait time. A red-haired girl called up a number and never brought that guest anything or said anything. The online order pickup area was bare, despite there being several online order customers waiting. Bizarre. It convinced us to avoid all hot food except for popcorn. And even that took awhile to receive! We were already annoyed by the food counter experience, then we saw how our seats were visibly sprinkled with popcorn and what looked like melted Dippin' Dots from the previous occupants. Terrible service at concessions. Line was almost out the door and not moving at all. Chose to do mobile ordering and wait for them to text me. They never texted. An hour later I left mid movie and had to wait in a 30 minute mobile order line. While waiting I watched the one guy running mobile orders both making all the food, including pizzas and chicken nuggets, then taking a customer. No one was texting. You had to show your mobile order. The line was a mess. The staff was angry and surly (I don't really blame them, they were so under staffed) and the guy NEVER changed his gloves. He was touching everything. It was gross. I finally got to the front of the line and got my small popcorn and soda for $22. Missed about 30 min of my movie that I paid way too much for the ticket. The imax theater had flickering lights on the floor that distracted and the seats did not recline. The tickets were crazy over priced for such a dated theater. I will never be back to AMC again.
