Took the kids to watch the Minions. I think I enjoyed it more than them. I LOVE minions. Upon arrival, the older man at the ticket box was super friendly and helpful. Came back when they started seating and noticed the seats and carpet in the theatre were updated compared to when I came several years before. Service was great and they were on point compared to other Cinema Cafes. Ordered nachos and Ranch pizza. Everything was delicious and came out with extra napkins, plates, and didn't have to even ask for a to go box since they offered. Will start coming to this location from now on!

    Southwest bowl description

While I would expect that dinner and a movie might be a little overpriced, but you've gotta be kidding me. Maybe deliver the entrees as described on the menu and perhaps clean the screen every once and a while. Photo 1 - ordered the southwest bowl, arrived with rice, beans, shrimp, and drenched with "boom boom sauce", no peppers, no onions, no cilantro, no mango pico. The serving size was a joke as well, is this supposed to be French bougie sh!t. Photo 2 - several 2 foot diameter drink splatters on the screen visible throughout the movie. Super distracting and gross! And $6 domestic pints to boot It's for these reasons I'd rather just wait until movies are available to stream from home. Very disappointing cinema cafe.

I normally don't watch movies at Cinema Cafe - I usually just want to check out the movie while not going overboard with food and drink. Especially since Cinema offers alcohol, I want to avoid that temptation. Plus, Cinema Cafes aren't operated by Regal nor AMC, so I can't use the movie viewer programs those chains offer. But with Bill & Ted Face the Music only playing here (and my desire to see it on a big screen as opposed to watching it at home), I figured it was time to check them out. With businesses adapting their daily operation due to COVID, they offered a convenient way to check-in. First you can purchase your tickets in advance - in my case, I bought my ticket online, upon which I was able to reserve and choose my seat. Like Regal & AMC, certain seats were blocked out to allow for social distancing. After I bought my ticket, a confirmation email was sent to me which included a QR code. At the front entrance, you use the scanner to read your QR code, your ticket is printed out and in you go. When I walked in, I was impressed at this location's cleanliness. When I was a kid, this was just a regular movie theater (I saw Back to the Future here during its original theatrical run - that's how old this theater is, not to mention me), but this place looks much nicer than it did back in the day. I walked into my theater and guests were already being served. If I'm correct, customers can come in early so they can have their meal before the movie, so there won't be any distractions during the movie. I didn't think about this - I arrived about 15 minutes before showtime. My server came to me after helping out those who had arrived beforehand and brought me a menu (I didn't realize there were paper menus located at the entrance for me to take inside), upon which I ordered an appetizer - potato skins. I also ordered 2 beers (not at the same time!) to wash the skins down. The potato skins, much to my surprise, were excellent. They weren't too greasy, just the right size and didn't look to be of the microwave variety. And the beers, which I ordered in bottles, were excellent. On top of that, my server was friendly and moved with a sense of urgency for myself and the other guests. And, since we're living in a different time, she wore a facemask for the duration. I enjoyed my experience here, thanks to the good food and excellent service. If all movie theaters were like this I'd be good to go. Cinema Cafe did well enough to make me consider coming here more often. All they need is a movie viewer program. JV

There'll never be a time when dinner and a movie won't make the day better. This is my first time at this specific theater cafe. As many times as I've been to this mall, i never knew it was actually a cínema cafe. The movie I seen was in one of tue smaller auditoriums, with an open aisle that split the rows. The bigger auditoriums have rows all the way across, only allowing entrance and exit on the outside of the theaters. Im not sure what that reason is for, but I like a a different tone with each visit. The food exceeded my expectations. I thought the tenders and fried would be frozen with barely any meat and maybe 3-4 small ones. I actually had about 5-7 and they were big and juicy. Fries were nice and hot. The dessert portions were also bigger than expected. I got the Robert Brownie Jr and funnel cake fried. Didn't touch either because I was STUFFED from the entre. I had to get a to go box. Sheesh. That's never happened at a movie theater before. The chairs were leather, cushioned, and reclined pretty far back. So happy there was more than enough room between the rows for the "actors" to walk through. I will definitely be back. Loves it.

First time visiting and for such a small entrance there's quite more that meets the eye! Waited at the bar while waiting for a friend to come with the tickets. Once in, it didn't take too long to find our seats. I would definitely suggest coming early to find your seats and at least get your order started. A lot of people had their food already, but I personally like eating mine during the movie. Essentially a good idea but not so much when the movie is starting and your waiter is nowhere to be found. Took us asking two people & about 15 minutes for someone to finally come and assist us. They mention "let me know if you need anything else!" But how? There's no button to push to get their attention aside from flaying your hands and pushing out some hard whispers when you see your possible waiter walk by. Overall, good and drinks were pretty good though one or two of my mozzarella sticks were busted with no cheese in them. Seat was dirty and had to wipe that down myself with a wet wipe I was given. Seats super comfy and I love that they have a USB port!

My husband and I love a dinner-and-a-movie date night, so having everything in one place is perfect for us. The reclining chairs are super comfortable, especially once you've eaten and can just settle back and relax during the movie. The menu is pretty basic, but that's expected for a movie theater, and it still has some solid options. Some of my favorites are the coconut shrimp and the hot honey pizza. Overall, this is my go-to spot for seeing a movie. Always an easy, enjoyable experience, and I'll definitely be back again soon.

The seats and theaters are clean, everything felt very new. Our waiter (I believe his name is Evan) was so nice, quick, and helpful! We were in row 3, which was a little bit too close to the screen for our taste, however the seats recline so your view is not obstructed. We didn't mind row 3, but next time we will go further back. The food and tickets were decently priced, we were very happy with that. The food quality was a little bit better than regular concession food. Our food was lukewarm, but very large portions. They have all the condiments and utensils right there for you! Very nice place, we will be back!

This last visit changed my mind a little. The volume of the movie was down to low, and when asked to turn it up because we could hear the movie playing next door over our movie, we were told it was preset unfortunately. My friend and I decided to try something new off the menu. She got the supreme pizza which tasted like chef boyardon't, chef boyardee would have been better than this pizza. The crust was hard with a low quality taste. I got the deluxe nachos, which there was nothing deluxe about. The chips were stale, it was supposed to have chili which I saw like 4 beans and really couldn't find the meat. There was a bunch of lettuce and onions, and a splash of cheese. The chip to cheese ratio was off!! The waiter did give me an extra tiny cup of cheese, which didn't help much. But at least he tried. I'll stick to my usual cheeseburger in the future. That's normally good. The food was a flop this time!! They left the lights on during the whole movie which made it weird. The usually turn the lights off. Not to mention Scary Movie 6 sucks. That's not their fault, I'm just warning you, it's not worth your time!! They did play good music in the lobby and the theater was clean. Picking up our tickets we ordered online was easy, and I like that you can reserve seats of your choice ahead of time. I hope next time the experience is better.

Our movie started at 3:30pm and since I bought tix online, we were able to walk right in and have our tix scanned. The concession line was ridiculously long so we decided to return a little later, hoping it would die down a bit. After about an hour, my daughter went out to grab popcorn and drinks and she mentioned that the lines were much less crowded. The popcorn was very fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thankfully, the seats were comfortable because the movie was over 3 hours long; the sound and movie quality in the theater was great as well. I don't frequent this location often but you can never go wrong seeing a movie here. I highly recommend ordering concessions in advance to avoid the long lines. Rather than assisting us, he simply pointed a finger toward concessions and directed us there to redeem our movie passes. The concessions area was not much better. The first thing you notice is the overwhelming smell of burnt popcorn, and the counters were covered in liquid from spilled or splashed drinks. The only bright spot of the entire experience was the young lady working behind the concession counter, who was polite and kind. We ordered two large drinks and a large popcorn, only to be told they couldn't sell large drinks because they had no lids. Instead, we were offered (and charged for) large ICEE cups. When it came time to pay and redeem our movie ticket vouchers, the employee repeatedly tried to process them without success before finally calling a manager. The manager slowly walked over, then slowly walked back to the ticket counter to retrieve replacement tickets. She eventually returned while we continued waiting, now approximately eight minutes late for our movie. We then had to wait even longer for the employee to finish washing her hands before she could scan the tickets. Once we finally made it to the drink machines, one of them wasn't working. Then we discovered the butter dispenser wasn't working either. My husband, who is handicapped, had to walk to the opposite side of the counter just to get butter for our popcorn. By this point, we were roughly 15 minutes late for the movie we had paid to see. Unfortunately, the problems didn't stop there. When we entered the theater, the trash cans were overflowing and the floors were covered with popcorn and other garbage. We finally reached our seats only to discover that the theater did not have reclining seats. My husband struggled to get comfortable for the first half of the movie. To make matters worse, the auditorium was so warm that we were sweating. I actually had to leave the movie and track down the employee at the ticket counter--the only staff member I could find--to ask if someone could please turn on the air conditioning. This theater appears to be poorly managed, understaffed, and lacking even the most basic attention to cleanliness and customer service. From the dirty concessions area, malfunctioning equipment, and overflowing trash to the lack of urgency from management and uncomfortable theater conditions, nearly every aspect of our visit was frustrating. I will never return to this theater, and after this experience, it's easy to understand why so many movie theaters are struggling to keep customers coming back.

Having never screened Lost on a big screen, I jumped at the chance to finally check out Suffolk's Regal while seeing one of (imo) cinema's great films about love, loneliness, and longing. I grabbed a ticket via the Regal app - a simple process that takes little time to complete. For me, the toughest part about driving out to Regal Harbour View is it's far... real far... with tolls (I'm coming from Norfolk). At the same time, I got stuck at the Downtown Tunnel (bridge lift), which almost kept me from arriving on time. Harbour View may be the nicest Regal in the area. It originally opened in November 2000 as a part of the Consolidated Theaters company and didn't officially become a Regal until 2008 (Regal acquired Consolidated Theaters). Based on that timeline, you can tell by glancing at the lobby that its design and architecture is not a Regal concept. That's actually a good thing because the lobby, despite being a little cramped, looks cozy and welcoming. I was greeted quickly upon entering - the ticket taker scanned my ticket on my phone and informed me which theater to go and where it was located. I decided to pick up some snacks and the employee there was just as pleasant and friendly. The theater where I saw Lost looked exactly like a theater at the Regal Strawbridge. I'm assuming there were some renovations made to the theaters themselves, because this specific theater looked brand new. There were 3 other moviegoers in the theater with me. I absolutely loved seeing Lost in Translation on a big screen and enjoyed this experience at this Regal. I hope to visit again soon, despite this location being quite the trip.
