This theater is understaffed and filthy. We saw an early movie so I can imagine it gets worse through the day. The food selection is only junk food (pizza, popcorn, candy). The reclining seats lift your feet up, but the backrest hardly reclines, putting your neck in an uncomfortable position. The chair to my left and right was broken and made pooping noise when they tried to adjust it. Pre-movie they play a bunch of ads. It's like watching over the air tv, but only the commercials. Overall, I can't justify watching a movie here vs my own home. This wasn't a good experience. Two stars because the movie played and was visible on a big screen. Sound worked. read more

I like coming to this theater. It's always clean and bathrooms are also clean. The only thing I would change is giving more room for people to leave the concession stand lines after the purchase their items. It's very tight to get through with all your stuff. read more

The movie theater was so dirty and smelled my seat was broken it would not recline we ended up paying over $44 dollars for 3 tickets if my son didnt throw such a fit to see DeadPool I would have left in a minute. This crazy. read more

I have gone here a few times now but not in a while. They since have upgraded the cinema theaters with reclining and more luxurious seats. Today my biggest complaint was the cold popcorn. I just can't stand that. Also, the tickets you buy online still require that you go to customer service to redeem. After waiting in a long time in line my friend walked to The kiosk and printed them out. The seats were nice and did the job. I wish they reclined further back but again they did the job. Sound system seems to have been upgraded. I like it overall but AMC 30 is still a slightly better experience. Screen wise and reclining seats wise. Gone down after Covid. Took a lot of food items away. They offer things on their menu at both the front and back concession stands but will only let you order most items from the front concession stand. I get if I have to pick it up at the front but standing in line only to be told I have to stand in another line bc they can't even put my order into the system is crap! Especially when it's in the menu at both stands! Remove it. Easy as that. The heat trays for pizza are always empty and just make waiting inline to order miserably hot. No refills on large drinks anymore. Bathrooms are barely attended to. Used to be our favorite. read more

The theater was nice and clean. We sat in the luxury lounge theater it was very comfortable. I may go to the theater maybe four or five times a year. It's about the cost. Ridiculous expensive. Four small popcorn and 4 medium soda's $50 Eating at the movie so expensive. The popcorn was fresh and l love the have the popcorn salt free for the taken. They use to be so conservative with it...they never wanted to give you two. The service was good. Waiting in line since the people ahead of us were about to leave the girl behind the counter yells there's other open lines....well l wasn't moving I'm already here...maybe it was break time not sure. They got rats here in House 10 and they won't do shit about it , we seen one December 5th and we are back for the same movie for the same house on the same row it happened again . the rats are still here & all they did was give free movie passes, again. my husband spent over $50 to watch the beetlejuice movie with me as a date, the movie was really good but the theater it self made my experience unpleasant. i was eating popcorn and a mouse ran across the back of my seat. when i tried to explain to the kid behind the counter by the popcorn he gave me a smart remark and shrugged it off. wouldn't recommend this place to a friend. read more

Today we decided to come to Cinemark for a time choice SC didn't offer. Previously, I had been coming to this theater for about 7+ years. Sadly it has really gone down hill. Most of the employees weren't very nice/happy to be here. The bathrooms were disgusting, the theater was uncleaned immediately after being picked up, and some things seemed un-taken care of. In comparison to how many people were at Cinemark on a random Friday night 5 years ago, the building is basically empty. The confessions are pretty much the same as I remember in the past - typical candy/popcorn basics, coffee, ice cream, cheese fries, pizza, hot dogs, etc. Overall, I think this theater should drop their movie prices to get more people in. That's probably the only things other than a convenient movie time that would bring me back. Not really impressed. read more

Right away, I will say that in some ways this Cinemark is still a tiny bit outdated. They still have the old boards, but it does look like it will go digital soon. I didn't take a star away for that though. I took it away because they made it hard to get my points and then apparently didn't actually do it because those points never showed up on my Connections. I box at another Cinemark, It's not hard to add points. The box attendant had to exit out of the Connections to finish my transaction. The theater was clean, Thor was premiering and they only had one box attendant and three concessionist. So lines were long. But my comfortable lounge seat worked perfectly. Every time we've come here, the movie we wanted to see will have just sold out. You'd think that on an opening weekend, they'd have more than one theatre showing a movie. It took 30 minutes to get our tickets and snacks, making us late for the movie we did get seats for. The snack line was so inefficient, people bumping into each other once they got their order. Probably won't come back again. The AMC 24 where I used to live had more theatres and guests, and ran so smoothly. Only great thing were the seats, they were incredibly comfortable. read more

Two stars is generous. Employees in the ticket sell booth are lazy, obnoxious, perhaps incompetent, but definitely move as slow as possible and are rude if you catch them in an off-moment. The ticket ripper guys once you get inside the theatre at the rope are surly and seem bothered to have to say "go left" or "go right" depending on theatre number. At the midnight premiere of Paranormal Activity 2 last year the midnight crew was even worse than the general Saturday afternoon crew. If you are in the mood for a soda and candy, like I always am, you can find grumpy employees at the candy register who occasionally like to cock their head and basically give you the look like they hate you because you are asking them to move one foot that way -----] to get you a Dr Pepper and then two feet that way [------- to get a box of Junior Mints for you. Oh dear, lots of hard work! You are guaranteed to find dirty seats, sticky floors, and guys in the audience that think it is perfectly acceptable to keep texting, talking loudly, and using profanity. I can't remember seeing a film here where I did not hear loud profanity from someone in the audience. And yet this is still better than the AMC 30 Gulfpointe. read more

I rarely go to the movies. When a friend invited me to see the new Avengers movie, I was hesitant. We arrived for the first viewing of the day, a 9:30 AM showing. Upon arriving the outside line was rather long, but there is self purchase inside and we were able to use our CC's and get tickets instantly. We passed on soda & popcorn, being as it was early. Upon entering the theatre I noticed it was rather clean, not much trash lying around. The seats were plush and appeared to be newer. Things have changed here since my last visit! Upon the movie starting the screen showed an error message to which the crowd gasped and panicked that the show wouldn't go on, but a few minutes later it disappeared and the movie started! An early morning show is the way to go- single ticket cost $6.75, a steal for going to the movies these days! I would return to Cinemark for another movie! read more

What is there to do in Webster? Well no matter what city you are in there's always dinner and a movie. This Cinemark has 18 theatres so it should have whatever is new and out. I was forced to watch Eclipse so as you can tell by the stars this was a review of the venue not the actual movie which would be - stars if possible. The place is huge from the front and decently sized once you are inside. It's pretty modern and well kept. We came on a Sunday night like Melissa suggest to go on non-date nights to avoid the crowds. Our showing was only 1/6th full? Maybe that says something about the awful movie. Overall, if I'm forced to be in this area going to this theatre isn't so bad. read more

I've been here two times. Both times were on a Friday night after 9pm. If it wasn't the only theatre in the general vicinity, I wouldn't go back. Here's why: - It's hot. And when I say it's hot, I mean it is H O T. The days of bringing a jacket to the movies are over. Shorts and tanks will suit you best. - Each time I've gone, the guys working the ticket booth/guest services counter LITERALLY didn't even look up from counting cash/tearing tickets to address me. Instead, they continued to look down at their hands while I spoke to them unacknowledged until they lightly mumbled their rebuttal. - The damn popcorn is stale - The bathrooms are awful. They smell like urine and have been out of paper towels both times I've been. This evening, 3 of the 6 stalls were out of order. The floors look like they haven't been swept in months. Also, don't forget it's hot. Nothin like the smell of nice, warm pee! The first time I went I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because my movie started late... But after being there tonight I have concluded that this theatre is just not up to par with some of the other Cinemark's I've been to. read more

This place has some real ups and downs. Starting with what needs to be improved on- I do not like assigned seating. If someone makes me uncomfortable I don't want to lay directly next to them in a recliner. If they smell, if they're loud...etc etc. I should have the freedom to move if I want. It isn't right to tell me who I have to sit next to in the dark- I should be able to choose from any available seat. I'm nervous about who I'll be seated next to and that makes me want to consider a night of Netflix in my own recliner. However I will say that the updated theaters are extremely nice and the recliners are very very comfortable. Love these seats!! read more

This is your standard big cinema, but it has tried to change with the times as the expectations have changed. I remember when this place opened and we were thrilled to have some many theatres in one location. It had been a while since I was there but in my visit last week, I got experience there "all recliner" and reserved seating. Overall, a good experience and a great time with friends. The food at the conversion stand was good, if over priced, but standard movie theatre fare. read more

UPDATE #2 After waiting for over a month, Corporate finally responded to my letter of complaint as did theatre management. Their only response was to suggest that I buy their overpriced club card. I guess they figure I can't do math and am too out of touch to know about Movie Pass. Your loss, Cinemark! From your once very loyal customer. UPDATE Down from 5. Not the theater but the value in going here. They just increased their online ticket price by 30% unless you join a club for $9 per month. As much as I don't like AMC, I will be checking back to see if they've improved. I don't like price gouging or being manipulated. We started going here when Cinemark in Pasadena and AMC Gulfpointe felt like one should always carry a gun and keep your face to the door. We were tired of the theaters being used by couples who brought their crying infants and ill-behaved children to adult movies rather than paying a babysitter and management did nothing to curb the practice. Enough about that. Then came Cinemark 18. Tuesday Discount movies, Monday Seniors, Loyalty cups and popcorn and even Senior prices on that. I love that they'll give extra salt for my popcorn! If that doesn't fit your schedule, first showing each day is very affordable. We love the new recliners and reserved seating but it's always a guess as to which row is best as each theatre is different.
