Super Hot, burning my lap chicken tenders w/fries.

Dinner and a movie, I sure do spoil myself. Tonight, I share n Kevin James's heartbreak and enjoy the movie. Solo Mio. Freshly cooked chicken tenders and crispy fries along with the root of a beer. Everyone is always so friendly here, they must pay them to be extra happy and considerate?

I've been coming to Cinemark 18 and XD for years even back when I used to work here and I've always loved the experience. The recent upgrades to the reclining seats and enhanced sound systems have taken the theater to a whole new level. Super comfortable, great visuals, and immersive audio it really feels like a premium movie experience now. A few months ago, I did have a not so great experience when I saw rats coming from under my seat eating leftover popcorn. I let management know right away, and they were understanding. They gave me free passes and said they would be bringing in an exterminator. This was my first time back since then, and I'm happy to report that everything went smoothly. I came to see Jurassic World: Rebirth (great movie long but worth it lol), and the theater was clean, comfortable, and totally pest free. Looks like they handled the situation, and I appreciate that they took the complaint seriously. I don't want nothing crawling up my leg trying to enjoy a movie lol. Seriously though. In all glad to be back at my favorite theater, it's looking and feeling better than ever!

July 28, 2023 Went and saw Oppenheimer today; 3 hours, and it kept my attention I got a gourmet hot dog, which was a weiner and a bun for $7.50--- can you believe that? $7.50 And a small Dasani water $5--for 1 bottle They are making us PAY for those new recliners, the electricity, staff salaries, etc LOL! Ridiculous Theater was clean. Recliner comfortable

Popcorn butter station. What a pigsty!!!

The manager gave it to me and then explained to me that their point system isn't like chickfilas where they go away after you use them. The points stay on your account and it's basically tiers. Once you get to certain points you get the free drink, then up to the next points you get the free popcorn and so on. My daughter had already used the free drink a while back but since the points don't disappear I thought I still had it. He printed out my history to show me. He helped explain it to me and was very patient and nice. I really appreciated him taking the time bc it got kind of crazy in there with everyone showing up for the movie. He was extremely helpful! Takes me tight back to the theater my mom used to take me to as a kid. The tickets are much cheaper here than the other theaters, the best value is seeing an early matinee because the tickets are only around $8 each. You really can't beat that price. The popcorn and drinks are self serve, so free refills on both. The price is slightly better for that here too than the bigger theaters. The seats here do recline which is a big plus for me. Other than that this is a very basic and cheap way to see new movies. It's never crowded and seats are readily available. And since I'm buying 5 movie tickets pretty much each time, it's really the better option for my family of heathens.

This year I let the Staff know, but not certain it sunk in due to the "show must go on". We were there the last weekend in April to see our Granddaughter in the leading role and Grandson in multiple roles of a Musical which was wonderful. Harbour Playhouse is such a intimate venue. I only wish I could find some to write a grant for the Playhouse to expand or remodel, and also be able to afford wireless microphones or better sound systems. It has been a joy watching the littlest cast member now 7 or 8 grow thru the years and all of the other regular actors too. The Director is amazing with the actors and even has a young boy who has Autism and a little girl who has Down Syndrome in the cast, I think I saw this year, in the Musical. Hard to see when you are videoing the entire Musical. Please get this permanently closed status updated.. It may have been Black Out season when people tried to go as many theaters have Black Outs too where they take a break, but we will be there come the Fall for the next play or musical.. Anybody with grant writing skills and have a heart for the Arts, this could be your time to shine and find funding for a worthy cause that would be so appreciated, I am absolutely certain..

My daughter auditioned for a part and got it and she had an absolute blast in the production and hopes to go back. I've gone to two different productions and they are so such fun! They do their best to make you feel welcome and take care of you. They have snacks in the lobby, some free and some for a small fee that helps promote the playhouse. They offer inexpensive wine and soda and bottled water during intermission and before the show. The theatre itself needs a little renovating. it's very outdated. As someone who writes reviews that focus on disability accommodation, I have to honestly say that this place needs some work on ADA compliance. I'm sure they are legal--that's not the issue--it's how comfortable it is. If you have a wheelchair, you have to sit in the first few rows, and every time I've come in, they've been full, because no one has put up signs that say they are companion seats for wheelchairs. One time, i had to sit in the aisle, which is a safety and fire hazard. The bathrooms are awkward for wheelchair bound people too. Several of the seats are broken and need to be replaced or repaired. the balcony is outdated and there is no accessible access to the balcony theatre. Short of the renevations that are clearly needed, the theatre itself is cute, has much potential, and the shows are reasonably priced for a fun and family friendly evening out.

This place is a lot and I wouldn't recommend this place to parents/ guardians younger than 4-5 y/o. It's hard for adults to see their kids unless they are in the "playground" with them. I watched a mother trying to aid her child who had just had an accident. (peed at the front steps of the first play area) This mother asked not one, but THREE staff members for either napkins or some sort of wipe to clean her child and the play area up. Why did the staff find it appropriate to stand behind the front desk giggling in this mother's face about her child peeing? Not only did they not help this mother get any form of paper towels, but they felt the need to also gossip about this to the other staff members that passed by... the only person I saw actually attempt to clean the area in a timely manner was a young man in a blue and red flannel. Luckily I had some baby wipes on me and was able to give these to the mother to clean her child up. I am severely disappointed with today's staff and I hope the manger at minimum speaks with them about their unacceptable and unprofessional behavior.

It's not real big and it's not real fancy, but who cares? The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of room between seats so you don't feel like you're sitting on top of one another like in a movie theater. The sound system and lighting is fantastic! We have some seriously talented people in the Clear Lake area and they all congregate here! They do have a small concession area with drinks and snacks; my bottle of water was $1.00. You can't beat that! They also have BYOB with a teeny $3.00 corkage fee that includes two glasses. They do a lot with a little; the sets aren't super elaborate but they work hard at making them believable and part of the show. Plus, it's okay to use your imagination; you don't have to have everything spelled out for you with CGI. The bathroom is behind a curtain house right, so if you sit house left you will have to cross in front of the stage if you need to use it during the show. Not a huge thing, just be aware. The show was sold out today, and it was delayed a few minutes since they were trying to find seats for the waiting list people. It was fine though, as everyone was in a good mood and ready to enjoy. Buy your tickets online though to make sure you get the seat you want, and get there fairly early. The show today started at 2:30 pm; I got there around 2:00 pm and got a good seat. I can't say enough great things about this place and the people. This is a real hidden gem in this area and if you haven't checked it out you have been missing out! Why travel into Houston when we have such fantastic talent right here in Clear Lake?! Stay local and enjoy all that Clear Creek Community Theater offers!
