Love this theater seats are comfortable and tickets are fairly priced. My only complaint is the restrooms look like the restrooms on the pop copy skit from the Dave Chapelle show. I know everyone's short staffed but they need some work in the restrooms. read more

1st time I've been to this location. I live closer to 20 so I go there. I recently had surgery and the doctors are all in this area so I came to this theater. Nice parking lot not a fan of the steps or having to walk so far down to the end to get to the ramp. 1st issue is there's 4 ticket windows and no ones selling tickets and no sign saying come in for tickets. Went in to ask about tickets and there's someone selling tickets . I did have an employee I guess see that I was having some trouble walking and offered to check me out at the self checkout and then was nice enough to help me with my popcorn and drink to my seat. This employee was 100% awesome and the reason this place gets 4 stars. The lobby was nice there's only one area I saw on the side for butter and toppings, (seems silly) no salt. The theater itself was nice but needed some love. The chair next to mine was covered for maintenance, the chair I was in worked but sounded like it was struggling to recline. There was no tray or heated seats like the one I normally go too. The seat was also not that comfy. It needed a pillow for the head rest. When your leaned back and you relax your heads looking at the roof lol . This is my favorite big movie theater in the Webster area, I just am tired of having to preorder reserved seats for new shows because movie theaters have figured out they can charge an extra fee to make reserved seating a thing. It's annoying that the day before a move comes out all the prime seats are already taken. So now you have to decide, do I sit 5feet from the screen, or the lat seat on the left, because I didn't know 3 days ago I wanted to see a movie. The recliner seats are great, but the fact that it cuts the capacity in half is also annoying since again, the showings when you aren't working fill up super fast. read more

I went to see a movie I was excited to see, when we walked up to the concession stand there was a roach crawling all over the fountain drink dispenser and on the counter, the workers didn't seem to notice it but I found it very unpleasant. read more

I've been here about 3 times now and I can say this place has had quick snack, Starbucks and guest service lines each visit. I love the theaters that offer food options but this one with the Branded food options Starbucks, Pizza Hut and your regular movie theater treats is alright by me. Havent experienced rude guest or nasty yucky seats, I still get nervous even with leather seats and pray they at least wipe them down between shows or something to keep the germs down. Other than that i give these guys 5 stars, easy to purchase tickets online and scan app once you arrive with that was an option as you arrive or enter but you have to go to guest services which is small 1 line adjacent to the Pizza Hut/Starbucks. read more

Unfortunately I had to drop my rating to three stars instead of four. The last few times we've gone, including opening day for Beauty & the Beast, the staff just hasn't been professional, especially behind the snacks counter. The wait for snacks is ridiculous because there will be six or seven people and only one or two lines open while the rest talk or go super slow to chat by the popcorn machine. It's the same on packed days or middle of the week matinees. The theaters are not cleaned well either with some trash left behind and the seats are greasy from previous patrons. Lastly, they don't have their volume under control with some movies so loud that it's almost too much to sit through. *** It's hard to find a good theater south of Houston with good prices, clean theaters, and in a nice neighborhood--this one has all three. Even when we had a theater closer to our old place, we would still drive over to this one because we felt safer I this neighborhood. It isn't a massive cinema, but it has about to 16 separate theaters and does opening night showings. The staff is friendly, and the prices are comparable to others. Sometimes we get matinee prices as well in early evenings, though we haven't quite figured that schedule out yet. They have a full concession stand and decent parking; however, the lot can fill up on Friday and Saturday evenings. We definitely recommend this one on the south side. read more

Went to see a scary movie with my parents and there was a row of teenagers talking non stop. Even after asking them to keep it down they continued. There were using their phones as flashlights and kept being loud during the quiet suspenseful part of the movie. It was so distracting that you couldn't really focus on the movie. After another couple left I went and complained to a manager and was told they would look into it. As the manager finally came in there a couple of the nose makers were walking out and the whole time the manager stood there it was complete silence. When the manager left the noisemakers returned and were being super noisy as they were walking into the theater. I finally stood up and told them if they want to talk to take it outside the theater. By that time my dad was fed up wanted to leave. We spoke with another manager and he just looked at the girl in customer service and said "give them a refund" and walked away. No apology or anything. I went to a third manager and told him just a refund was unacceptable and that those kids should be kicked out of the theater. He asked me who it was so I walked in there and pointed them out. Another employee was in there and said "yeah we know who they are".... ok then kick them out. They never kicked them out. My dad finally got so mad he also requested a manager to see about free passes for next time. Management wouldn't even come up there to speak with my dad. They told the girl over the phone to just give us the passes. Management is a joke here. Three different managers and not one of them even went over to speak with the kids and the kids of course shut their mouths when they knew management was watching. And not even an apology. Horrible, lousy excuse for management. read more

Our trip to the movies was a little tense. I was afraid to get in the movie late but luckily the line for tickets wasn't long. I even had a chance to run by the concession stand and order me some chili and cheese fries. I was surprised how fast it came out and how expensive it was. I think I spent $12 for order of fries and a drink. The actual theater was a little hard to find because they don't movie titles outside the front doors. The only way to identify the theatre was by the number. I was a little disappointed in the seats. Although they were leather they weren't very comfortable and you couldn't lean back that much. I also felt like the cup holders were a little too close maybe it's just the design of the chair that makes me feel constricted. read more

The reclining leather seats are super comfortable, the sound systems are awesome, and the popcorn is great. And it's easy to reserve your seats online. They have Digital XD screens in at least one theater, which are extra sharp--and extra expensive. if you want to see a 3-D XD movie, be prepared to cough up $15!! It is always freezing so make sure you bring a sweater. They offer a teensy student discount if you buy at the ticket window. Also--The first showings of the day are only $6: early bird special. They have more than one concession stand, but they're not always open--depends on how busy they are, I guess. If you join the Cinemark email list, you will get concession coupons! read more

I enjoy going to a matinee here. It can get crowed but never to overwhelming. The seats are nice and comfy. There isn't much to choose from in concessions; your run of the mill theatre popcorn, candy, nachos and soda. There is the little expensive burger shop, but I hardly ever see anyone purchasing from here; usually kids driving their parents crazy and bugging them to buy any and everything! Nothing spectacular about the place, not bad though. It's convenient to my home and I feel safe dropping off my teenagers here to see their own show. read more

When I was a teenager, the place to go was AMC 30...down on the Gulf Freeway, near the Sagemont area. That was the big, cool movie theater that I went to with my friends. Now, it's possibly a little sketch and I guess everyone goes to this Cinemark. I'm not completely sure because a) I'm not a hip teenager anymore and b) I don't go to the movie in Clear Lake much anymore. However, I remember when this theater was brand new and exciting. Now, honestly, it's just a regular mega-theater. Pretty standard. Over-sized, over-priced snacks, humongous theaters, apathetic teenage workers, a slightly old-sock smell mixed with popcorn permeating the building. The bathroom is always pretty gross and unpleasant to use. When I go here, it's because I was to see a movie and I'm in the Clear Lake area. There is no other reason to go here. read more

I have a love/hate relationship with movie theaters. I love seeing movies on the big screen but I really hate the rude people that have to talk and text during that movie. I've been to this theater the most and today I don't think anyone was texting during the film (it was Eclipse btw). But it has happened before and on a pretty regular basis so I thinking this was the exception to the rule, sadly. They don't monitor the theaters so there aren't any ushers or anyone to tell people to stop. We've gotten up and complained before and someone has come in but never said anything to the texters. But we do always go to the first movie of the day as it's only $5. So for five bucks I guess you can't complain too much? We have gone to later movies and like Melissa B said, date nights can get swamped! The bathrooms always seem to be clean and there's rarely a long wait so that's a HUGE plus! The seats are pretty comfortable and you don't feel smushed in (like at the Cinemark in Texas City). The employees are usually pretty nice, but you do get some that just don't want to be there and they let everyone know. All in all, pick your times carefully, get there early if it's a popular movie (we got there at 8:30 am for the 10 am showing of Eclipse and were third in line at 8:50 am when we got out of the air-conditioned car) and bring your patience if people who text and talk during movies irritates you. read more

I just left the movie Hotel Transylvania 2 in theater number 9, as I was watching to movie I noticed something run across the carpet.. I initially thought it was a lizard then I focused more and noticed it was a tiny mouse. He was running in and out of a hole in the wall picking up popcorn that was dropped on the floor. After I saw him I couldn't focus on the movie just thinking how close he was to me, how many more of them are there, and are they around the food they serve. I did mention it to a manager he was very kind and reassured me that they have a company come out to exterminate them quiet often. It won't keep me from coming to that theater but I defiantly will be keeping an eye on any little critters running around. read more

Avoid date nights if you don't like crowds. I came opening weekend for Toy Story 3d. Great experience! Sometimes weird stuff happens, like forgetting to change reels halfway into the movie and sitting waiting for 5 minutes for them to realize, but overall, I've had more good experiences than bad. read more

Im giving three stars because the recliners totally rock and the theater is kept clean. I do, however, despise the assigned seating. I hate it. When Im paying big bucks for a movie, I want to choose who i sit by and where I sit. I should be able to move in the middle of the movie if the people next to me want to chat, if theyve had salami for lunch, or if the guy next to me doesnt understand basic hygiene. I dont understand why that change needed to happen--this isnt a concert or sports arena. I could wait a month and see this movie at home with hubby, who i have chosen to sit by wherever I want. My daughter and I had to sit in the front row on opposite sides of the theater even though seats in the middle were open. Evidently those seats were saved for someone who didnt show? No. If youre not there, your seats should be fair game for those of us who are there. It seems the recliners, although super comfy, have made the theater much smaller so you need to get there super early to get a seat together. So youre there a half hour early to watch a half hour of previews before your movie begins. Ugh. read more

Let me start by saying that I never go to the movies. But on a whim last night the wife and I decided to take a date night out to the movie theater to see Allison Wonderland through the looking glass. It was a Friday evening pouring down rain so that may have added to the better experience that I did have, because it was not so overly crowded like I had expected or remembered. I use the fandango app so we got in, got our tickets, a tub of popcorn and into theater post haste. The seats were nicer than I expected end it appears there is even a reserve section now that you can sit in with the prime seat locations. The sound of the movie was great the picture was very clear and we opted for the 3-D option which was fun. Solid 3 1/2 stars at this place and I'd definitely come back for another 3-D movie given it's a subject that I would really like to see on the big screen! read more

This is the nicest theatre on this part of town. I only wish it were closer. It is clean and staff has always been friendly. The snacks, food and ice cream is above average for a movie theatre. Even though I live in Galveston, this theatre is my favourite theatre to go to. Nice sized parking lot, always had the current films showing, it even has some indie films playing, every two or three months they have a selection of classic films playing once a week, they even have events where they stream live operas. And that's just what type of stuff they show. They have a XD theatre, where they show a triple A films for a bigger and louder experience and every other auditorium is a very nice size. Very nice staff, lots of theatre food to choose from, not to mention that they have a full on restaurant to eat at while you wait on your film to start. Bathrooms are clean most of the time, a very nice arcade where the kids can play, overall this theatre is very very good. All needs now is a IMAX. read more
