Went for a Christmas Day movie. We purchased tickets and seats in advance. The check in was fast and simple. I went to the seats and wife and Son bought the drinks and popcorn. The seats were very comfortable and the restrooms were in perfect condition. What else can you ask for from a Movie Theater? We let my 21 year old son pick the Movie. He said he heard it got good reviews. It was "Uncut Gems" and I will just say it is not going to be for everyone. Lots of bad language and a very stressful movie. Very cool theater with PLENTY of snacks! Not too mention unique snacks well at least to me they were. They had super nachos which are a must try, and they were not super pricey especially coming from a movie theater. They also have a Starbucks, bar, and ice cream. I think I even saw a sign that said Takis... okay now i sound like a total fatty lol Anyhow the point here is there's plenty of snacks to choose from. They have reserved seating (which I prefer) and the seats are spacious and comfy, but did not lean as far back as I'm used to. However still comfy. This is going to be a simple and succinct review, because I had a great experience here. The lines for me to purchase a ticket on a late Friday night was short. I was able to get my concessions to my liking. The theater was clean and the extremely comfortable stadium seats were a delight. The move Mission Impossible Fall Out was entertaining. The new upgraded theater is much cleaner and definitely the complete recliners make it much more comfortable. Make sure to book your tickets in advance for a recently released movie as upgrading to recliners has reduced the capacity of the theaters, else you might end up disappointed ! Now you get to choose your seat while booking your tickets.. so it makes a little hard sometimes to get group or 2 seta together when the movie is running full or in its first week. Ample of parking space available. Concessions, as usual service is slow and the counters are always messy ! read more

This location has gone downhill over the last year. I'm very disappointed. I've ordered my concessions ahead of time and multiple times I've MISSED the first 10 minutes AT LEAST of the movie I paid to see. Management is nonexistent and your team members do not see to give a single solitary damn. This will be the last time I give any Cinemark my hard earned money. Can't really find anything to complain about here. It's the closest theater to me and a pretty good one at that. All the seats fully recline which is great for any movie, especially the long ones, and the spacing between them is pretty good. I have ample room to make myself comfortable on the seats. Concessions, like any other theater, are pricey but the tub of popcorn is great to share (or not share). There's a butter dispenser on either side of the theater so that you can douse your popcorn in it. Yum! read more

Not my go to place for movies, but since this is the closest theater, I went here. So I've been here a few times, but never on a opening night of a movie. My boyfriend and I went to go see Star Wars at the 10:30 showing. We got there early to make sure there weren't any issues with finding a parking spot. We had to wait for them to clean the theater, which is understandable since there was just a showing. So we are waiting, and waiting, and waiting. At this point it's 10:20, the ppl came out and told us that there was a issue with the sound and that they need to play the movie before we come in. So now it's 10:30 and we are waiting, we finally were able to go in. But I was just annoyed, it killed my vibe but the good thing was that the seats were clean and comfortable. The movie wasn't bad at all, the screen was clear and the sound wasn't too bad. It did put the movie start time later than the original one, but which I took points off for. But the overall quality of the actual theater wasn't that bad. I just wish before hand that everything started on time. read more

This place is technically no longer Tinseltown after their remodel. And it's like night and day from what it used to be. The seats are big and cushy and they recline. The walkways are now very spacious, so no butts in your face when people walk past. And so far, no screaming kids around like it was before. But we'll see how that is when I see some more general audience type movies. It also seems like they cut down the length of the previews I'm impressed with the changes. I used to hate going here and would drive much further distances to see a movie someplace; any place else. No longer the case. It's really pretty nice here now. The concessions are really the only downfall. They kind of half-heartedly layer the butter on the popcorn. I'd rather do it myself like most other Cinemarks encourage. The only other change I don't like is the assigned seating. So if you're meeting friends, you have to get your tickets at the same time to ensure you're seats are next to each other. Their normal price tickets (including matinee) are all way more expensive then the three other Cinemarks near me. I'm told they are getting the loung seats, I'm terrified of what the pricing will look like after those are in. O.O The service here has rearly been great. I might see a few friendly faces, but ask for something unusual and they get ugly fast. For example, a few times I've forgotten to show my connections app when buying my ticket. When I went back out to get my points, I've been told everything from straight up "No." To "that's not possible." I know it's 100% possible, they do it at my Cinemark all the time. They do have specialty items at the concession. Starbucks and ice cream. So I'll give points for having options. read more

Went to go see Deadpool and Wolverine today... for some reason when I cut the ticket I didn't notice that it was a R-rated movie, and I didn't know you need to be ID at the door for R-rated movies. I don't care who sees this, but if you are selling R- rated movies there needs to be a warning or a notification or something that notes that this movie will check you at the door. Because I cut this ticket almost 2 months ago or whenever it started to premiere and I got rejected today because I brought my brother and I didn't have the legal paperwork on me to prove that I was his legal guardian. And the "they/them" person at the door asked me for a birth certificate or something with a birthday for the minor???? who carries a birth certificate to go see a movie this is so stupid. And if I say I'm his guardian shouldn't that be enough ??? like does every parent need to prove with the birth certificate that they've given birth to their kid at every theater they go to ???? From now on, I'll definitely keep a note of that movies being R-rated, but either way caring on a birth certificate for a minor is the most dumbest thing ever heard. read more

Slow service I've ever experienced at a movie theater. My boyfriend and I ordered the mini pretzel bites which took about 15 mins to make. The staff seemed all over the place, disorganized and very slow with service as we witnessed our pretzels taking only a minute to prepare, basically heating up the pretzels. They carried a few Starbucks drinks so we ordered an iced vanilla latte which tasted like a regular cafe latte with no vanilla syrup flavoring at all! Leave it to Starbucks to make their own drinks that are correctly made. The seats were uncomfortable, having no room for slouchiness or movement. This is only the place in Austin region which plays Indian movies, so its pretty much our go to place if we are in a mood for some Bollywood. Its a large decent facility but what sucks about this place is its concession. Their Starbucks beverages are way below the mark. Recently we tried samosas (they were using the frozen one, which I get it) it was not even thawed property. Been coming here for years without incident except for the one time 2 managers approached me while the movie was playing and interrupted my experience just to search my bag. Apparently some paranoid folks mistook me for a terrorist because of my beard. What a country! So sorry guys. No contraband here. Today a "manager" who looked half my age denied me access to a movie I paid for. Because of the backpack. He cited Cinemark policy but this has only ever happened once before at Lake Creek 7 and nowhere else EVER. Until today. No apology and minimal professionalism. Great way to drive away any potential repeat business from an established rewards member. But this type of pointless discrimination seems unsurprising given the sorry state of our current sociopolitical climate. Moral of the story: Go to Alamo Drafthouse or Flix Brewhouse instead. I was excited to give this place good reviews since they now serve beer and the theater looks way nicer than when it was tinseltown but... We ordered the super nachos and split them between 3 people. All of us are sick now. 2 have diarrhea and 1 is throwing up. So, theaters should not serve food if they don't have restaurant quality food standards.
