I'm an AMC A-List member and have been going to AMC theaters for a long time. I've never experienced anything like this before. I purchased movie tickets through my account as a gift for my brother and his girlfriend to celebrate something special. When they arrived, they were stopped at the concession stand and accused of committing fraud because the tickets were purchased on someone else's account. To be clear, I bought the tickets myself and sent them to them. There was absolutely nothing fraudulent about it. The employee who confronted them handled the situation in a very aggressive and unnecessary way. As an A-List member, I've never been questioned or harassed like this at the front concession stand. It felt like the situation was blown completely out of proportion. Instead of focusing on real issues, my family members were put in an uncomfortable and embarrassing position over tickets that were legitimately purchased. They did speak with the manager, Miguel, who was polite and tried to help, and I appreciate that. However, the situation still wasn't fully resolved and the tickets were not refunded despite the negative experience. AMC needs to make sure employees understand that tickets purchased through an account can be shared with friends or family. Customers shouldn't be accused of fraud for using tickets that were legitimately purchased. This was very disappointing, especially as a loyal A-List member. read more

Got tickets a couple hours before and did enjoy the option to pre-order food items at time of ticket purchase. Couldn't decide at time of ticket purchase and upon arriving to the theater you could place and order for it to be delivered to your seat. Ended up going with the classic popcorn, drink and candy. Theater has great comfy seats and the tables for your goodies was a bit small. Also the popcorn bucket almost blocked part of my view since I'm not the tallest person around. Overall the theater was great for image, sound and temperature. Not too hot or col. Ample parking as well. read more

AMC Dine-In Tech Ridge movie theater is located in North Austin. I usually do not frequent this location as it is not convenient for me unless they are hosting a free movie screening on site so my review is from this perspective. There is plenty of parking available. The theater has heated AMC signature recliners which are some of the most comfortable seats that I have sat in while watching a movie. They have reserved seating, but typically when coming to a screening the seating is first come first served. The screen is Dolby Cinema at AMC with great sound and picture. They have the option of food and drink mobile ordering and dine-in delivery to seat. The menu variety is good although I have only ordered popcorn from this location. The large popcorn came will free refills and they have a butter station. Prices tend to be on the expensive side for food. I am not a fan of the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines because all the soda mixes get mixed up and contaminate the flavor of your drink. They also have a MacGuffins Bar on site with a variety of adult beverages and cocktails. Overall, a good experience when coming here to watch the movie screenings. The lobby has several seating area ms to sit in while waiting. The theaters are clean and have comfy reclining seats. Plenty of parking in the lot. read more

We figured we would try this place out despite the bad reviews. I clearly ordered chicken quesadilla with tortilla chips and got a chicken wrap. The girl at the counter even repeated back chicken quesadilla not chicken wrap. She took a full 5 minutes to even recognize us. First the waitress came out with the wrap and gave me the 3rd degree like it was my fault. They sent a second person to question me who was short with pig tails and glasses. She had a lot of attitude and acted like I should have checked their mistakes instead of them bringing me my correct order. I ended up asking for a refund because at that point I was afraid they would spit in my food. Balthazar - Manager apologized and said he understood and gave me a refund. The difference between the wrap and quesadilla was $3. What a joke. I would never go back there! read more

I've never before been to a movie theater that is too HOT, and I'm a person that's always cold, too. It's burning up in there and it's not even that hot if a day outside. The seats are surprisingly narrow which puts your uncomfortably close to the people around you that are sweating (and smelling) up a storm. It's a deeply unpleasant experience for a premium price. Only go if you wear shorts and a tank top, and maybe bring an ice pack or two. read more

AMC has one of the best movie theater experiences in the country if you enjoy watching movies. AMC isn't known for having the best snacks, and the food is indeed overpriced. But I go to AMC to watch the latest movies, and I don't expect 5-star restaurant food at a movie theater, lol. I normally go to the AMC at Lakeline Mall, as that's closer to where I live, but I visited Tech Ridge 10 recently to watch Piece by Piece, a documentary about Pharell Williams. I didn't order any food, but I noticed that the menu prices seemed more expensive than those at AMC's Lakeline location. I'm impressed by the lounging chairs at this location. They have heated seats! I'm the guy who usually gets cold in movie theaters, and this added feature was gladly welcomed. I also enjoyed how the seats quickly reclined and are in better condition than the ones at Lakeline Mall. Each row of seats is set up in an amphitheater style, so the row behind is situated several feet higher in the theater. If you've ever been to Lakeline 9, each row is on the same level ground, making viewing the movie screen difficult if you don't recline to adjust your viewing angle. All in all, the staff I encountered that day were nice and friendly, and I enjoyed my time there. I can't wait to go back for a Dolby experience! read more

Going to the movies is a treat! But wow is it expensive these days. I prefer going to matinee movies throughout the weekdays and not the weekends. Seating is limited based on reservations already booked. You can view all available seating arrangements online prior to purchasing your tickets, they had 3 different viewing/ options from 3D and others. For 3 of us girls to have a movie day out with snacks (large popcorn, 2 drinks, and 2 candies)- was over $95.00 my jaw pretty much dropped because people can wait for the movie to premier through streaming apps and not spend that much, but by that point the movie is already older. I took my 5 year old out and she enjoyed this movie so much she wanted to see another one ( ha ha ha, not for a long while!!!) read more

Went to see Smile 2 as a special prescreening event and my first time coming to this theater. The theater was very clean and even though very busy yet organized. Ordered the appetizer sampler which had gooey mozzarella sticks, buffalo bites, pretzel bites and onion rings. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty. I would definitely come back again. read more

I come here to watch movies. I don't order food, popcorn, beverages, because why would you do so at a movie theater? Eat at home, or go to a place with better food quality and value. I do, however, use the restrooms. The toilets and faucets appear to function appropriately. Also, the lobby area of the theater seems to be quite clean, and there is ample parking. I have only seen movies in their Dolby Cinema. Haven't had issues. Seats are comfy, haven't seen worn down seats or smelly seats. If I were to compare theaters, well, I only have other theaters that also have Dolby Cinemas to compare to. Maybe it's not as large as the one at AMC Village on Parkway 9 in Addison, but that's ok. read more

Better experience today. Cinema 10 had nice air flow and seats clean and working. Concession stand was very rushed but no one really waiting. Popcorn bag was 3/4 full. Had the sampler as well. Came in over 30 minutes into the movie. Bathrooms were much cleaner and had toilet paper this time. read more

Was in again first time a few months back we saw a rat. Today we had to leave half way through our movie. Only day I get off of work and have been looking forward to this movie. There was a rat under our seats, squealing, scurrying and running around. We were completely appalled for a second time. Please don't ever come to this theater. read more

Went to go watch The Covenant "Which is a really good movie".....The experience was good other than the design of the chairs, if you're slightly over weight or big the food tray is more of a hassle than a convenient. have been to the theater once in the past and I had shitty service and the food came out cold. I decided to give it another try a year and a half later and today the experience still disappointing. Herr are some pictures of the seats -they were greasy and sticky and falling apart.On top of that they look completely disgusting The staff did not wipe down the seats or make sure that they were cleaned up before the next showing-highly recommend getting Lice prevention shampoo after sitting in the seats you just don't know what could possibly be on them. The food was 1/3 of the menu-they did not have majority of the items displayed. I would highly recommend going to another theater. I believe these are one of the theaters that you can contract bedbugs. I was terrified to sit down and definitely did not want to be there. I completely forgot to take a picture of the menu board at the cashier desk, but there was not much to order considering everything was completely almost unavailable. You could only get 1/3 of the menu. right before the movie starts, they ask you to think the stuff and the investors however, judging by the way, everything looked I highly doubt that AMC has any investors. It was simply one of the worst theaters I have. It's only a few years old highly recommend going to a better theater, better stuff and definitely cleaner read more

The movie experience was good. I like the lobby area which has a snack bar and full alcohol bar as well. The theater itself was nice, but the seats were really narrow, as if to get as many people in one area as possible. The heated seats feature was pretty cool though. This place had so much potential but unfortunately it fell short. We went to a movie with the family. I pre-ordered all our meals on the app. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS. The food does not actually show up at the scheduled time. I had to leave during the movie to tell someone we never received our food. They eventually brought part of the order but never came back with the three hotdogs we ordered. Resigned, I went and got a refund after the movie for my missing food. Also, the bathrooms were disgusting and barely operational. There was no toilet paper given that most of it was on the floor of the bathroom. None of the garbage cans were empty so they were overflowing. I could not understand why the manager did not assign one of the 12 workers who had no customers behind the concession stand to clean the restrooms. Went there for a movie night with my husband. The seats are really comfortable and you can tell that the theater is modern and new. My bad rating is due to the lack of cleanliness, the bad service and the poor quality of food. We paid over $45 for a horrible Cobb salad, and a burger. Movie theater is new and so clean and nice, compared to others in the area. I will admit that the newness and cleaness attracted me to this place. It's a dine in theater but you ordered it at the counter then they bring it to you. That part I was not really into and can imagine it's a pain when it's crowded and the lines are long. We went on a week night so there was little to no lines. And the wait for our food to be delivered wasn't bad. The food is quite expensive though comparatively to other theaters. A bottle of tea (non-refillable) is $4.50! A kids order of chicken tenders is $9.50, but I will admit that the tenders were better than Alamo and Moviehouse so I guess it's worth it. You get your own drink but I'm not one to get up during a movie to get a refill. The seats were so nice and plush and clean. They recline and also are HEATED! So exciting that took this place to the next level. The sound was very loud though during the previews almost unbearable at times. Luckily our movie wasn't as loud and/or the movie was a lighter volume one. Two tickets for an evening movie online was $28.98 and dinner was $42 so it's not cheap. We will probably return in the future but we have the movieclub pass at Cinermark which is a steal so not sure how quickly we will be back. read more

They serve alcohol and food. but they don't come to you in the theater. You order at the front and they will bring you the food when it's ready. get your drinks out in the entrance area. i go for the seats. nearly fully recline. Row F is the sweet spot for me. Not too close, not too far, nearly parallel to the screen. The seats also have heat. and each person have their own cup holder and tray. I would plan to arrive early to order food and not use the app, which was faulty. You're here for the movie and the seating is sooo comfy! read more

I ordered food here and they literally forgot to bring it. After going back twice to see if they had my order, almost 20 dollar order, the little kitchen man lied and said they tried to bring it but didn't see me. Just flat out lied because the seats are numbered. Once we tasted it, it was GARBAGE. I could tell it had been under a heat lamp. I am so very disappointed in this place. Men's bathroom had pee all over the floor. 2 of the 3 toilets were out of commission. Theaters are always cleaned at the absolute bare minimum. Lines for concessions move painfully slow ( took 30 mins, only had 4 groups infront of me ) staff isn't very friendly either. read more

Im giving this one star because i cant give a negative number. The theater is fine great. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO not EAT THERE. Had loaded fries and what the call a burger... it was two crunchy patties on some funky bread, some melted cheese that was definitely disgusting I couldn't finish it... I was excited to visit this theater for the first time. It's plenty of parking spaces and they were pretty much all full on a Sunday afternoon. The first thing I noticed was how heavy the entrance doors were. The doors are so heavy it took both hands to open, smh. I didn't realize I had to order/pay for my food upon entry and the staff will bring my food to my seat. I thought this was a "dine" in movie theater like the Alamo Drafthouse. The third thing I noticed was how all the staff were young. When I was ordering my food all I heard was laughing and playing around from the cashiers which was unprofessional. The manager was close by and didn't say anything to them. In my opinion, the food prices are much more expensive than other theaters. The food is not worth the high ticket price. The theater was nice and clean. The downside is the seats are extremely too close together and the tray for your food is really small. I think it's a nice feature that the seats are heated and can recline! It wasn't a lot of previews before the movie, which was good and the sound system wasn't too loud. I was just there recently to see the dragon ball movie and don't get me started. Me and my boyfriend had the time to finally come see this and the staff weren't as welcoming as the others you'd see at a regular movie theater. One of the staff asks if he'd scan my barcode 2 hours later and made me feel uncomfortable by how much he was asking. At first the food tasted all right but when we got home my boyfriend was very ill. He was having severe top and bottom issues from the food. STAY AWAY FROM THE BURGERS! This place isn't the place to go. It's a knock off from the regular movie theaters you'd go to. Icees we're all watered down, pop corn was slightly hard and stale.
