I wouldn't have had a problem with this theater were it not for the sound quality of their movies. Yes, it's a small theater that looks pretty old, but I can overlook that if the movie plays fine. My boyfriend and I went to watch Warm Bodies yesterday and I mean, zombies don't talk loud to begin with! Half the time I didn't know what they were saying (it was a good movie regardless). I'm not sure if it was the movie they had or if it was just their speaker system, but I'm glad that the manager was nice enough to apologize and refund our tickets... Plus he told us we could just continue watching the movie anyway! Really good customer service. I can't give them much for quality unfortunately. read more

Overall, I liked coming back to this older theater that's been renovated and cleaned up since our visit a few years back. Pricing was descent and popcorn and drinks at the concession stand were fresh and delicious! VERY DISAPPOINTED with the women's bathroom... doors wouldn't close and didn't allow for privacy! It's an older movie theater. Seats are not as nice as the big movie theaters (Edwards Amc). Tickets are cheap and they play new movies.

I love this theater, it's a little older and doesn't have the stadium seating or anything. They hold all the current movies, and at lower prices then other theaters. They have a small arcade, and all the concession treats you need. read more

I absolutely love coming here. They have $5 movies on Tuesdays, and you can't beat that price. Excellent sound, it's comfortable, but a bit outdated, which I dont' mind. I like this place simply because they show new movies at a very low price! Other than that, this place is a dud. Never staffed more than 3 people, always kind of sticky everywhere. Their prices are great compared to the other theaters nearby. But, I was very disappointed on this last visit. There was only one girl running everything. She was selling the tix, with a long line, then she jumped to the other register to sell the snacks and stuff, also a long line. The counters were dirty and with oil build up. I took a sip of my drink and I could taste that their water filter needs to be changed out. I couldn't drink it after that. There's usually a guy, like in his early 40s, maybe the manager, he's very efficient and with a great personality. Maybe it was a wrong day for me. I'll try it once again, hoping the service and place will be clean or I'll be making a phone call to them and inspectors. read more

This place gets a 4 star for its AMAZING prices! I know this place is a little worn down and it isnt one of those fancy AMC places with big cushioned chairs.. But i could care less! I love this movie theater!! If you want to see a movie in comfort this is your theatre. The seats are soft and cushiony, including very clean. The aisles are swept clean every time and free from food wrappers. Your seat has cup holders on each side. I love this movie theater. Best of all is the PRICE! Great place! Not as fancy as Edwards or AMC but its prices sure beat them. On Tuesdays ticket prices are $5 and the quality of the movie is great. No stadium style seating but that doesn't bother me at all. They don't have a huge selection of movies but they do have the popular ones, like right now they have Jurassic World and Inside Out. My first time experience was one of the best. Movies 8 is one of the smallest theaters I've ever been to, in this case size does not matter. With the big personality ms.Lopez had, it makes the experience of the customer enjoy it's small exterior even more. It was by far the best customer service I've experienced at a theater. I did forget my ID and I almost was unable to buy my ticket until I offered to show some other sort of identification via cell phone which was my date of birth on Facebook. The prices of the tickets and beverages were reasonable and I'm glad to say I'll be back thanks to my impression the staff left me on my first visit. read more

I just finished watching The Night Before in theater number 2 and it was a terrible experience. Although the the movie awesome and the Tickets were cheap, so we're the seats and Audio. The theater itself is small and crammed as tight as a sardine can. My sisters sound system for her Barbie playhouse is louder than the ENTIRE movie was. Sounded like a 1990's car stereo. I guess you get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend this theater unless you plan on your legs falling asleep and D- quality. read more

Nothing. Reflects on management. Movie room was super hot. Asked to change theater room and no volume on this one . We asked . Meaning several of customers asked there is no volume and he told us there will be volume when it starts.. are we the customers suppose to read lips while previews play. The restrooms here are disgusting! I literally had to ask if they ever clean the bathrooms because there's wasn't one clean toilet in that place. It was disgusting! The seats for the movies are parted in the middle so you have to sit either in the left or right side but there's no middle! Ugh! I just didn't like this place at all... I grew up going to this movie theater. I love everything about it prices are great staff is awesome. I took my 9 year old daughter there on 1-14-19 to watch Mary poppins it was an 8:35 show time we got to our theater on time and as we where half way through the movie there was a white male who walked in with no wife no kids and sat to the back right of the theater behind me and my daughter I thought it was odd with it being as late as it was and being half way through the movie he sat there side 20 mins got up and left. I got my daughter up for a restroom break at the same time I was being a curious dad and wanted to see where this guy went come to find out he headed to the restroom as well witch was fine. I waited right outside of the women's restroom to make sure no one went in the restroom who wasn't suppose to be in there. As I waited the male from our theater walks out of the men's restroom ok normal. So I'm thinking this guys gonna be in the theater before we get back as we walk in he's no where to be seen so that's also sketch to me I looked around and nothing so the movie goes on and 45 to 55 mins goes by and he's comes back to the theater and sits right behind us again so it got to the point where it wasn't right and I had to think of the safety of my daughter so we left the movie early when we got up I look at the man and he has this weird nervous look on his face maybe I'm a dad who was over thinking the situation but now days who knows what was going on again I take nothing away from the theater just keep your eyes open and keep your kids close read more
