I've been here before for another specialized viewing experience. I have a membership actually at another chain, but I come here because they have very specialized screens that I like to view movies in. Recently came here to watch 'Project Hail Mary' in IMAX 70mm. This would be my second time watching this movie in the theater, but I wanted to watch it on this big screen. And I believe this location has a legit IMAX (1.43:1 aspect ratio) screen. There's only a few of these screens in all of Southern California. So glad I woke up early went to the early showing where there were still quite a bit of available seats. Project Hail Mary is a movie that was meant to be seen on as big a screen as possible. The ordering process and the check-in process was easy. The people here are very very friendly. read more

We drove about an hour to see The Odyssey in 70mm at 10:45pm on July 20th. We arrived and was told that because someone had pulled the fire alarm, that they would not be showing the film in 70mm, but instead in digital. They offered refunds for tickets and ticket passes for the next Regal visit. There was zero organization nor informative updates from any of the employees onsite. Many people were left confused and angry when they came to realize that the movie they were waiting for will not be played. There should have been enough foresight to send out an update via text/email/pigeon so people who were coming from near or far would know to not show up. This was truly the most disappointing movie theater experience I've ever had. I would never recommend this theater to anyone. read more

I still drive out of my way to visit this theater on occasion because nothing beats 70mm IMAX. I remember when this Edwards theater opened to compete with the AMC inside Ontario Mills and the parking lot was always packed! I remember even when the AMC opened inside VG mall and it was the closest theater to us we would drive down to the Edwards because it was the gold standard for cinema. Now is there things that need to be worked on? probably but I can't speak to them because I haven't been inside the other non-IMAX formats here for a longgg time. I have also not interacted with the staff much or had any concessions. read more

So the only way I'm seeing a movie is in 4D. It was my first time trying the platform . It felt like I was at an amusement park, but definitely part of the movie. The action started in the preview that came directly before the movie. I loved the movement, the sound surrounding the theater, the fact that you still wear 3-D glasses,it was amazing. If more films were equipped like this, I think it would bring people back to the theater. I hope more people do go back so we don't lose experiences like this.It's not something that you can create at home. I ran into a problem purchasing my tickets at the self serve kiosk in the theater. You have to scan your rewards if you want the rewards pricing and my phone started buffering. There was no one around to help with issues like that. I also tried to use my points for a popcorn upgrade and the cashier said they didn't have that button available.Someone else had to come out and help.If things like these were more smooth than this experience would be closer to a five. The parking is free and easy. It's located directly outside of Ontario Mills mall so before or after the movie you could even do a little shopping. read more

Good to experience watching Avatar on 4d. Could have minor whip lash feelings at certain times but it's part of the experience. Lots of things fall out of your pocket in these seats so use caution and check your belongings on the way out. Aka car keys!!! read more

There was trash EVERYWHERE! It was absolutely unkept and unsanitary! Trash cans completely overflowing throughout the entire place. The restrooms were gross. My husband waited 30 minutes at concessions and almost missed the movie but luckily they play almost that much if not more in commercials and previews before the actual movie. The actual theater was so hot and it felt like the air wasn't working. We heard other people complaining too. I do not recommend this movie theater. My one star is for Spider-Man. Went to see The Odyssey in 70mm IMAX and the overall IMAX theater was excellent. The cleanliness and organization of the theater as a whole is a different story. The restrooms are among one of the worst I've ever been in. Stalls were out of toilet paper with trash everywhere on the floor and spilling out of the trash cans in towers. A complete health hazard. The carpet all across the theater looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. I would never consider coming back to see a movie unless it is exclusively in IMAX. read more

FIRST OF ALL. They need to FIRE the Manager. He she not doing there job. I've been coming here for YEARS and NEVER have I seen it like this. Very very dirty, I think it's these young kids working and NOT wanting to pick up a broom. I absorb these young ones and they just walk over the trash not having a care in the world about cleaning. And no offense to these FAT workers but them too. They rather be on their phones then to pick up and tag or broom to clean.... I might go to AMC from now on. Okay, we had a blast here! When I saw Superman was filmed for IMAX, I had to see it on IMAX. So I did that. The IMAX screen is still fascinating and amazing. The seats have been upgraded since initial opening, but not recliner. But then, I saw they offered 4DX. Wasn't really sure what that was but I hoped it meant moving chairs, water, etc. Upon purchasing tickets I discovered, that's exactly what it meant. The chairs are placed in sets of 4. There's a bar in front of each where they spray the mist and there's a button on your chair to turn the water on or off. Sound and picture quality was great and we were treated to snow (bubbles), flashing lights, blasts of air, sprays of mist and the seats actually move quite a bit! I almost felt like they should have seatbelts! Not sure if every movie is like that, but WOW! It was incredible! Highly recommend checking out a movie in 4DX! I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to see an action movie any other way! Too cool! read more

Watched Rocky Horror in the 4DX theater and I think this theater hasn't been maintained in awhile because I am reading other reviews of the 4DX experience and I didn't get half of that here. I got barely any drizzle (it was more like a mist), the spray near your head didn't trigger for me but I heard it go off on other seats, only one of the fog machines worked and it was basically the volume of a fart, and there were supposed to be scents but I could only smell the popcorn. I only give three stars because the staff was pretty nice and the bathrooms were clean. Butter machine worked well but the popcorn was not hot. And my seats moved, which was the most important part. Also I didn't like that they turn the lights full on during the credits, what the heck. The movie is still technically going. read more

On July 20th, I also went to go see The Odyssey in 70mm at 10:45pm. When I arrived about 20 minutes before the showing, I saw a line forming where you would scan your ticket. When it was my turn, the girl working there poorly explained how since someone pulled the fire alarm, they would not be showing the film in 70mm. I would have to go to the front concession stand for my options. Since so many people were in the same boat as me, I waited another 20 minutes in line. When I finally got to the front, the employee explained to me that since someone pulled the fire alarm, they couldn't play the reel of 70mm for the film, but they could instead play it digitally. Either that, or a refund and a ticket voucher. I chose the refund and ticket voucher since I just wanted to go home after a sad situation. But once this employee handed me my ticket voucher, he then explained to me it works on all formats EXCEPT IMAX 70mm!!!! The one I paid for!!!! I asked him this very question, "Every one except the one I paid for?" He rudely pointed at the screen in front of me and said, "Yes! You got your refund!" I ended up leaving around 11:50, and I'm glad I did, because it looked like an absolute shitshow with the amount of people that showed up later. Genuinely just so bummed they couldn't give me a ticket voucher for IMAX 70mm. No organization, no notification, no email saying your ticket has been refunded, just a sad 45 minute drive back home. read more

Accidentally bought tickets on the regal app for this theater instead of the other Ontario location. Didn't realize the error until I had arrived at the other theater. I have been attempting to contact someone at this theater for thirty minutes and no one answers the phone. I'm not going to be able to get a refund now. I booked here on accident this time, but you couldn't pay me to see a movie here next time. AMC is where it's at. read more

The place was a ghost town and now I know why. I haven't been to this theater in years, probably a decade and nothing's been updated since except the prices. My pretzel was stale our sodas were flat. The gentleman cashiering was very helpful and very pleasant. We took a picture in the Photo Booth and boy, the prices have increased. It was $10. We had trouble finding our movie because even though it said Zootopia not Dracula was featured on the digital screen. Our movie Dracula began at 6:40 PM. Ourselves, a couple and a few teenagers were the only ones in there. So if you're looking to go somewhere where there's no crowds this is your spot. The seats do not recline and have no foot rest. There is nowhere to put your snacks so you will have to hold your snacks on your lap. My leg started itching as soon as I sat down. They do allow drink refills, but you have to go up to the cashier to get them. They are not self-serving. Nevertheless, we will not be returning. The plus side, It seemed to be very clean. There was a trashcan right outside to throw your snacks away. The movie was fantastic a 10 out of 10 and my boys had a great time so the experience was priceless. read more

The cost is not worth the experience. The food options are limited and the seating is outdated. I took my mom and she remarked about how weird it was to see no one in the theater. No one in the theater but almost 20 minutes to get food. I'd rather go to AMC, recline, and have my food brought to me for what I paid. read more

We came to watch Predator: Badlands! It's been out for over a month and remembered I wanted to go watch it! Sure enough they had it playing here! Wow! Masters of the Universe in 4DX! Freakin awesome! Such a cool experience. Scary villains, spaceships, lightning, big cats and Skeletor with a "to go" coffee cup. All while being thrown around and sprayed... my kind of movie! read more

We had a great experience watching the WICKED For Good movie. The theatre is nice and the employees are cool. Prices are astronomical!! But I think that may be from rising supply cost, wages, and digital media being so assessable. read more

Clean spacious and comfortable. Only complaint was the time listed for our movie on the website in the same day morning did not match the time scheduled that afternoon-an hour and one half later. This was an inconvenience and affected the later part of our day. Brought the kids here to see FNAF...great movie by the way...haven't been entertained like that in a while. Kids loved it, we got the sip and snack pack! Great value, only negative was they ran out of need ropes and the staff/manager did nothing except offer a Costco fruit snack bag with 5 gummies! Know ur promotions and prepare accordingly next time! Overall a clean and active theatre! Popcorn was fresh and the self serve soft drinks were nice! Seating was great. They had a bar with beer and spirits which sparked date night thoughts for the wife and I! We will be back! read more

Omg if you haven't seen a movie 4D , you gotta experience it at least once. We had so much fun! It's definitely a ride, lol my husband couldn't stop laughing , we had a blast. We watched lion King and I do not want to spoil anything, I highly recommend! We are definitely coming back. My son had chicken strip and fries and he placed on the seat next to him, the show started and the seat started moving , all his items fell over. Post covid and I still haven't been wanting to go to the movies but it was niece that pushed me to go back. We spend a day together once a month and summers in the valley suck and since they offer great matinee deals you know I had to give them a try. This was my first time at this particular Regal location but its huge! The customer service was good at the door and concession stand, not sure if the cleaning crew is doing the best job there was butter all over the floor at our seats, I told the young lady at the front and she showed me where people we seated so we just moved. Looking forward to coming back and watching more movies here! read more

Despite all the technological advances they have in movie projection, this place just keep getting worse. Most of the auditoriums still have the same uncomfortable outdated seats even the screen X. 4DX is the worst since shit keep breaking down and they won't fix it, They have rows of seats that are disabled their fog effect is inexistent for years now. And there's always problems with their first showing of a new release, today was the lave action of How to train your Dragon and the seats never move a bit, was like watching a movie in the mediocre DBox at Cinemark, they couldn't fix the problem so we have to leave. Guess we gonna have to drive to the Original 4DX in LALive again the way we did it for years since 2014 that opened in LA cus they were always on point fixing it. We algo glad AMC is now gonna start operating this format so we have other options to go see a movie in 4DX read more

So what's so special about this Regal Edwards movie theater located right next to Ontario Mills? This is 1 of 19 U.S. theaters showing 'Oppenheimer' in 70mm IMAX as director Christopher Nolan insisted that 70mm IMAX is how 'Oppenheimer' meant to be experienced. Parking was the easy part since I booked 10:40 AM ticket, but I did not like this movie theater for several reasons: (1) Difficult restroom access: The 70mm IMAX showing room had a 2nd floor exit, but no restroom available on the 2nd floor. I had to take a one-way escalator to get down to the 1st floor for the restroom. Unfortunately the 70mm IMAX showing room only had one entrance via the 1st floor and I had to walk back up to find my designated seat. (2) Difficult seat access: My reserved seating was I1 and it was not easy to find my seat. First I had to use snake-like ramp to get to the very top row & ended up walking down through the middle of aisle to locate row I. The slight saving grace was semi-comfortable seat, but I couldn't completely lean back with my seat. I am just not a fan of 70mm IMAX seating design for the top rows as they were not super intuitive to navigate. I am pretty sure that I won't be coming to this particular theater again as there are other 70mm IMAX options I can choose from. read more

IMAX was a heart thumping experience. A great option to have that ultimate immersion of movie going. Imax theater does not have reclining seats. Really enjoyed the limited showing of Tenet. I love when the theaters have these exclusive movies for a limited viewing. Service was helpful. Self serve Kiosks are located in the front foyer to purchase tickets with card. Easy to navigate through. Escalator and elevators available. Regal rewards also available for the frequent movie goer. read more

First time visitor at this theater and would not return. It's a shame this was the only nearby Regal theater showing Demon Slayer Infinity Castle in IMAX. IMAX was definitely a fun experience. However, when the lights turned on towards the end of the movie (not during the rolling credits), it completely ruined the experience. read more

One word: Dirty. The hallways, seats, and floors in the theater were noticeably sticky, even in the main areas. The restrooms were also in need of attention. I used to come here when I was younger, and it was such a great experience--it's disappointing to see how much it's changed. It's a beautiful building with a lot of potential, and I truly hope it gets the care and cleaning it deserves. Now I understand why AMC was more crowded. The movie theater is very big. The entrance is pretty definitely because of the lights. The food was decent for theater food. The customer service was great. The gentleman that helped us at the concession stand was very patient and informative. We watched John Wick: Chapter 4 on the IMAX screen. The quality of the screen was great. Definitely recommend choosing seats furthest back for the IMAX theater. The sound was loud and the bass made the action movie more enjoyable. I liked it. The seats are not modern. They recline if you lean back. Definitely not the cleanest theater but the amount of thrash people leave behind does not help. read more
