The prices are amazingly cheap and the parking is easy by far BUT I mean how can you not plan for a school holiday and be staffed for it yet open your doors 15 minutes before the first show and have a line of at least 40 people and one cashier. This is a formal complaint regarding the rude treatment I received by one of your employees on the 3/7/2020. It occurred approximately at 11:30 am .I bought a popcorn w/ soda as I was asking the employee working the cashier by the name of Alpert or Albert at the Checkout, I ask him to put layers of butter in my popcorn to absorb all the butter in the container w/ c I always ask every time I buy popcorn. He told me that he can't do it because its' only a scoop. I insisted that I always ask the any cashier in all the Fandango Theater and they always do it, except this Guy. I ALWAYS GO TO THIS MOVIE THEATER because it's closer to my house . At this stage, he begun to raise his voice to me, and become combative or argumentive. I have been a long time customer at this Movie Theater and never experience this kind of rudeness and was most upset and disappointed by this event. Fortunately, I saw the manager and told him about the unpleasant incident, I told him that the Guy Alpert needs training about customer service, because in reality we are the one (customers) that pay their salary. read more

If you are looking at a high end theater, you're looking at the wrong place. This is an old small movie house that infamously sits in the corner next to the Shakey's and the "lizard store." It's an awesome place to go to see new movies for really cheap prices. Oh the sound quality isn't phenomenal, but it's a great way to see movies you're "kinda meh" about but still want to watch it. Popcorn is alright but super dry; one of the only few times I would go ahead and get the mess drenched in butter. During the weekends at night the front gets with middle school kids trying to act cool while they wait for their mom/dad to pick them up or quite possibly the most interesting groups of anybody you'll ever come across. Don't trust this place with Fandango tickets. No one knows how it works. I've gotten Fandango twice from this place and both were ruined due to the staff being incompetent high school drop outs. They just sell tickets to sell tickets, but don't reserve seats if you pre purchase your tickets. Isn't that what Fandango does morons??? And then, you are STILL forced to wait in line to get your tickets, only to get to the front to get told "Oh, you need to go to the machine inside for your tickets." I regret ever purchasing advanced tickets for this location. But I guess that's what happens when you go the cheap route. They won't give you your money back or accommodate you. This place was awesome when I was 12 & had no job, yeah its cheap when you go at 11 in the morning but most moviegoers usually go at night. you might as well just go to Harkins. This place is extremely dirty, Jacqueline C. put it best, there are definitely large amounts of DNA all over the seats due to teenagers engaging in sexual activities. Little brats also like to attend this place unsupervised. The screens are pretty bad quality, definitely showing some wear & old graffiti. In short this place is cheap but you get what you pay for, be prepared to wait in the ticket & concession line for a long time as there are only 5 employees total. Also you have a 99% chance of coming in contact with an unidentified organic/inorganic substance on the seats. Have fun watching a movie here and making an appointment for a tetanus shot! Tip: If you're down to drive to Rancho Cucamonga Terra Vista 6 has better prices and is cleaner. read more

This place is a toilet.... -There was no one in the ticket booth and no sign saying to come inside. -Inside there was one person doing ticket sales at the snack bar and a huge line. -The bathrooms are semi clean, really old feeling -only one person working snacks, again a really long line. -took 45 minutes to navigate both lines :-( -the thearter was packed beyond beleif and it felt like the heater was on, much warmer that outside. I came here today with my son to see toy story 4. My son was very disappointed because we got directed to the wrong theater room. When my son handed the ticket they told us to the left, last room at the end. We got here a lil before 11:45 to see toy story. We sat through the previews for about a half hour and the movie started but! It was lion king. We missed half of toy story 4!! When we left the room and told the worker that was directing customers to the rooms he didn't bother apologizing for the mistake or directing us to a manager. Before they use to have the title of the movie above the theater room which would make up for a mistake like that. I also spent money on snacks n beverages. I would double check with the worker directing you before heading to the room and missing out on half the movie like we did. I had plans after the movie so I didn't have time to bring this to a managers attention. I usually go to Harkins but decided to come here since we haven't been here in awhile. Now I feel I should pay the extra cash at harkins so I don't experience this again and actually get to enjoy the movie I payed for. My son thought I took him to the wrong movie when I was told that was the room! Maybe you should bring back the titles above the rooms since your workers poorly direct and pay attention. Really disappointed that we didn't get to enjoy the whole movie!!! All I can say is make sure they direct you to the right room and ask them twice!! Good luck! read more

I love coming here because the prices are great and it's close to my job. On Tuesdays it's a discounted day. But unfortunately the sound isn't as great as other theaters. The worst part is the people are noisy during the movies and crying kids everywhere. I'd rather pay more for a theater that has a better sound and no noisy people/kids. read more

This theater has very comfortable seats and an excellent sound system. Although the food selection is limited, the hot dogs, popcorn and garlic bread are very good. I wish they served hamburgers and also offered onion as well as jalapeno peppers for condimemts. The staff is always courteous and the theaters and bathrooms very clean. read more

Took my 3 year old son who is diagnosed with cerebral palsy to a very dated movie theaters. Not at all handicap accessible! Had my son on my lap the whole time since he couldn't see from his wheelchair! will never come back. Gets the job done. I saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes here and boy am I glad I didn't spend$12 bucks on it. The cost was $5.50 like back in the '90s. :). The atmosphere itself was a little drab and no frills, although the restrooms were colorful, and the employees were very friendly! I would go here again for a movie you're not too sure about, and not that eager or excited to see. For a more enjoyable experience, however, I would go to Harkins which has the best of both worlds (reasonably priced and enjoyable atmosphere) if you have a little more money to splurge. read more

Cinemark movies 8 in Chino is my favorite theater! Maybe that seems odd for a little place tucked next to a Shakey's, but this place is digital and offers captioned movies for the lowest price around. In summer, even their $1 movies offer captions! I've never been unable to buy or find good seats, even for new releases. Cinemark movies 8 is a true local gem! read more

I LOVED this place! Me and my boyfriend recently moved to Ontario and we only knew Edwards in West Covina that had $6 Tuesday's. A coworker told me about this place and we decided to try it out, it's was Only $5! & it's down the street from my house, It's comfy and quiet reminds me of the Hollywood theaters. Its a lot cheaper here than normal theaters. About half priced. There's always a priblem with either sound or picture, but they fix it by the time the movie starts. It gets super dark in the theater so if you come once the lights are out its very hard to find a seat. Overall I come for the price, its a great deal. read more

As a mom with 5 kids, the price for the tickets are very affordable. Especially on Tuesdays. The food is affordable too! Unlike AMC & EDWARDS. and yes there are seats in the middle. I've seen the 1 star review and I honestly don't know where she went. Even AMC & EDWARDS have dirty restrooms and their customer service sucks.
