I prefer alamo because of the food/drink choices, but I come to this cinemark theater only for one thing: THE CHAIRS! they are amazingly comfortable and I feel right at home. Absolutely terrible service here. Went for a refill during a show and was told I had to purchase a new drink. They could've just let us pay the difference for the larger drink which comes with a refill but no, they charged us for another one. Like the drinks aren't already expensive enough this greedy company had to take more than it's fair share of your hard earned money. ON TOP OF THAT, we thought we lost our keys in the theatre and when we called the next day they refused to send someone into the theatre to look for it, asking us to come back and check ourselves. Meanwhile anyone could've picked them up during a showing the next day. What kind of "service" is that? The tickets and food are already theft and they couldn't even help us out. Terrible. read more

Nice clean theatre. Went in middle of the day on Wednesday to see Summer Vacation movie. No special bells or whistles. Its a nice. And clean. And has a decent little arcade area for the kids. Theatre itself was nice with good sound. Theatre is a little out of the way off the road. What you would expect from Cinemarks across the country. read more

Well this theatre is beginning to bring us back. The recent upgrades of assigned seating coupled with electric recliners has offered us a closer option to driving to the newer theatres. The movie and sound system quality in the HD Cinemas are high quality. read more

This theatre is about 5 years old, and is located right behind the wal-mart on Mesa. I've been coming to Cinemark ever since its opened. However, I have never seen it as packed and crazy as it was yesterday (Christmas). I figured it would be a little crowded, but it was CRAZY! The lines were incredibly long, people were moving shoulder to shoulder, and one of the football teams playing in the sun bowl were there with their charter bus' waiting in front. There's not much else to add about this place...usually its clean and runs smoothly. And tomorrow was not different. And if I can go to the theatre on one of the busiest days of the years and still enjoy my movie, then I can go any day of the year to this place. read more

I enjoy the seating, BUT the new Movie Club for $8.99 (I believe) per month is horrible. I had gift cards that I would give and get and when used No service fee. Well that's out the window!! Not any longer!! No you have to join the Move Club and pay monthly. Just another way a company is out to gouge the consumer!! Now my gift cards just go towards the ridiculous service fee. I am going to think twice before going to the movies from now on. read more

Worst experience in a Movie theatre ever. The machine that sells tickets is 4' tall, so I had to kill my back buying the tix. I went 2 buy a snack then decided 2 go to restroom first. When I came out the manager practically accused me off stealing some raisinets I snuck in. She wanted proof off purchase. I didn't buy them here bitch. So I start opening them and she's like, what are you doing you can't eat those here. So I said I know I'm throwing them away, still cheaper to buy more somewhere else than here, then I poured them out, took a handful and popped them in my mouth. I always come to this movie theater but this last time I found not one but several hair strands in my popcorn. I went to the manager to tell him about the issue and he was rude and even argued with me that they all have their hair back. The girl that was working at the time had hers in a ponytail which is not a great way to keep hair from falling. A refill does not make up for anything nor would I ever want to take the chance of eating pop corn there again. Im sure he's not going to investigate who's hair that was. 3D, stadium seating, ticket machines inside, decent snack bar. Wide release movies, and almost never sold out. Popcorn buckets are huge - you only need a medium for the family. read more

I grew up going to this Cinemark, I can still remember coming in middle school with my friends to watch Harry Potter showings, and they have made some amazing improvements over the years. One of my favorite things about this cinemark is the stadium seating: every theater has each row of seats above the row in front of it, so your view of the screen will never be blocked by the heads of the people in front of you *cough* cinemark bistro... When you buy your ticket, you reserve the seats, so gone are the days of general admission where you would have to line up way before the movie started to get a good seat. And the seats have power reclining! Every seat in every theater can recline almost to a lie flat position, giving you a super comfortable watching experience. The theaters are different, however: most of them are regular theaters with a decent sized screen, but the two at the end are cinemark XD theaters, with larger screens and better sound, which are reserved for newer blockbuster movies. Concessions are normal theater fare: you have your popcorn, candy, hot dogs, and nachos at an elevated price. A relatively newer addition is a selection of draft and bottled beer. For a no frills, clean, comfortable movie experience, this Cinemark delivers admirably. read more

Wow i mean i haven't been to the movies in over 2 years but what is this world coming to when i am asked 7 dollars for popcorn they give for free at all other events in life. I mean yeah we all know that going to the movies is pricy but DAMN they really abuse you and your wallet at the concession stand. Even the attendant who took our order looked at me with this"are you seriously going through with this .........oooookkkkk". I should have just run for my life! I have to take out a title loan just to watch a movie. But all in all the movie was good...no thanks to the theater but to the producers. If you have not been in a while you will be surprised to see the new Luxury Loungers they installed in all of the theaters. They are very comfortable: BUT! They are huge so there are not as many seats in the theaters. So: Buy your reserved seating tickets online before you go. We went on a Saturday night to see a movie that had been out for a while. Figured we would not have a problem getting a seat? All the movies were sold out practically. We ended up sitting in a front row...Yes, front row! It was not a problem at all because the seats recline. Had a great date night thanks to the Manager, Mr. Hernandez, who talked us into staying and giving the new seating a try. Even convinces us to see a movie we were not that interested in seeing. They have upped their game to compete with the likes of Alamo Draft House and are doing a great job! read more
